21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: November 27, 2018, 09:42:34 PM
Being very careful, that's the only thing needed to avoid falling victim to scams, put strong and secure passwords, always double check the links where you are and do not download something that does not come from a reliable source practice is to follow the indications of windows now that I think of it
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: November 26, 2018, 10:13:43 PM
I've also tried at least locally to create bitcoin acceptance, but the concern that many of they tell me is how they're going to get providers to accept bitcoin too? at the end of the day everything has to be a chain of supplies, so we have to start there for everything to work.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is BTC dead on: November 26, 2018, 09:59:22 PM
It will not be of any use to you because it is not a company... many people are totally deviating from the purpose of bitcoin, it was never designed to be a store value, it was simply created to allow transactions that do not need to go through an intermediary, with low fees and anonymity, objectives that have already been achieved.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: white paper. !! on: November 24, 2018, 04:49:41 PM
A white paper can tell you many things, it can tell you what kind of personality has the team that is doing the coin and what is their philosophy, also see how technical they are and if they can express in clear and simple words what they plan to do with the project, how they will do it and what they need to get it, all those things are what I personally see in a whitepaper.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining profitability on: November 24, 2018, 04:26:49 PM
I believe that if you have a specialized equipment (antminer, bitmine) and electric light in your country is subsidized or economic, you can still get good profit, so I've seen most people mine monero, but now with these new falls I do not know how profitable it is, if I'm not wrong I think there are webpages that tell you how much you get out of a mine and makes the profit calculations for you.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction from 'Experts' on: November 23, 2018, 06:52:09 PM
There are many supposed experts here and on twitter, now I do not pay much attention to any, because this market has proven countless times to be too unpredictable for those historical records, we can only try to make estimates and hope for the best, always doing our own research and relying on our instinct.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you say is Bitcoin's biggest weakness as an industry? on: November 23, 2018, 06:14:01 PM
I believe that as it is a project that depends on people, the greedy nature of human beings affects this project, we can always see it with the scams, pumps and dumps and other tricks that are used to earn quick and easy money, that is one of the worst things that has bitcoin and cryptos in general.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The day I should have bought more! on: November 22, 2018, 10:35:18 PM
For that reason I take a cautious measure, I try to buy with the money that i have extra, for example, I avoid a couple of nights out and I grab that money to buy more btc, of course, I am restricting myself of certain things, but it gives me a lot of peace of mind at the time of thinking about what could happen.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you feel when you found out it was a SCAM? on: November 22, 2018, 10:17:08 PM
At first it is very discouraging, it causes you to leave everything like that and not get involved in projects because you think they are all the same, but then you start hearing stories of successful ICOs and that gives you motivation, at least to participate in the next ICO that hopefully is successful and will give you confidence in future projects.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: November 21, 2018, 04:11:08 PM
India has always been a very interesting place for me, although culturally they are not so liberal, their great technological advances always attract attention, I would think there was more adoption among the cryptos, but in the end the government decided to put the boot over, regrettable, could benefit in many aspects of the cryptos.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 21, 2018, 03:56:38 PM
For many it is difficult to see beyond this year, bitcoin still with this price is incredibly higher than when it came out, of course, we are not in an ATH, but has always been increasing, progressively, has had dips and bear markets but after months it recovers, but remember that historical data do not ensure data in the future, but at least serve as a speculation.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobody Buying Cryptocurrency :( on: November 20, 2018, 11:19:08 PM
I think there is a lot of FUD scattered for the moment, we have to wait for things to calm down a bit and when investors see that it is not the end of the world, they will invest again, that is normal in this type of market that people are always on the edge, we just have to wait for things to calm down a bit to see what happens.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US or China: Who do you think will legalize bitcoin first? on: November 20, 2018, 10:59:36 PM
China is much stricter with its controls, in addition to having a more direct ban on cryptos, if I'm not mistaken the US ban is on ICOs that practically see them as gambling, so probably USA will establish the first regulations and normalize the use of cryptos in their country, China is usually a little more conservative in that.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 19, 2018, 09:23:13 PM
Yeah, i think I'm ready, the only thing missing is that the suppliers and stores also are, i sued to handle my different wallets as I would use a debit card, so wich that part I would not have problems, besides having them protected with different security measures, I think they would be quite safe.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: November 19, 2018, 08:56:37 PM
For many it gives security and confidence, the exchange gains a little more confidence knowing that behind those purchases there is a real person verifiable and traceable, I understand that since they are handling a lot of money from different people, what I do not accept is that the ICO or airdrops that are starting now, also ask KYC to give you a few tokens.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto trading consider as a good profession? on: November 18, 2018, 07:22:23 PM
I don't know if there are good or bad professions, there are simply professions, trading can generate enough income to live in a first world country, so yes, you can have a certain quality of life if you try hard enough, I heard you can even generate 5% daily of your investment, which is not bad at all.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency should I buy now? on: November 18, 2018, 06:40:26 PM
The first thing you should hodl is bitcoin, when you have at least 1 you can think about investing in other currencies, for example, ethereum, ripple, and neo are quite promising, if you really want to make money you can invest in ICOs, which despite being risky, that's where the money is usually.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a cryptocurrency now? on: November 17, 2018, 10:12:23 PM
You can also consider developing some skills that you can use in the cryptos, such as programming, translation or video editing, many ICOs are looking for people with skills in these and many more areas, as it is a growing market there are many serious job opportunities here.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto on: November 17, 2018, 09:33:35 PM
Yeah that's true, economically speaking it was the best year by far, there was never a boom as big as last year, but I think that this huge bubble was what brought the bear market that we have now, so I don't know how beneficial that was to the current state of many cryptos, I guess sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? on: November 15, 2018, 11:18:25 PM
hmm with all the scandals that have arisen recently on facebook about the abuse of the privacy of their users, I would not trust my receiving wallet to they, it would have to be something very good or very useful because I do not see a way to earn the trust of users to have a successful launch.
