The truth is that all the exchanges in the crypto space at the moment are centralized and they're prone to government regulations like the SEC. So even all the DEXes are not truly decentralized and are there not immune to regulations. Let's see how Etherdelta comes out of this unscathed.

Some hours ago i posted this after realizing the big drop... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5069276.0So just gave a call to someone i knew he was interested since few weeks ago in my girlfriends car, and just sold it for 2000€..nearly 13 ETH at this prices.. maybe for others it is not a lot of money..but for us, it is..no more money left, and living with my parents! hahaha yes i STILLL BELIEVE IN CRYPTO.. the best is still out there to come in the next 2 years i think.. so with a pair of.. I am ALL IN wish me good luck (please dont follow the same behaviour unless you are as mad as me and ready to loose it all)This move is badass and a tad risky. I definitely won't be taking such a bold move largely because I'm not that much of a risk taker. But this is clearly a case of get rick or rekt. Wishing you the best and hope we're here to jubilate with you when it pays off handsomely. Any hey, just to add that a girlfriend that allows you sell her to invest in crypto no matter the state of the car during sale, is definitely a wife material and should consider upgrading her status to being a WIFE soon enough

I've not given up on ICOs, but I've simply taken a break on investing in any one, until the market rebounds considerably and ETH is above $500 as I'm not ready to stomach more losses like the ones I experienced year where 95% of all ICOs I invested in were not profitable, forcing a long hodl to atleast recoup my capital.

You are overestimating the importance of market capitalization rankings. In reality, they are worth nothing and can be easily manipulated. Ethereum and Ripple are the same thing they were yesterday.
My exact same thoughts. Market cap means nothing especially when losses are the order of the day, no one is looking at that in that instance. XRP is no.2, has it any impact on the losses you experienced yesterday?? In a industry where market manipulation is prevalent, these rankings mean nothing.

For a project that had a year long ICO, EOS hasn't actually lived up to the billing and the hype it enjoyed in the build up to the mainnet launch. The crash in it's price this year has been catastrophic and the EOS for me isn't user friendly, creating a new wallet in EOS is one hell of a task as compared to Ethereum

It's funny how bitcoin isn't in the list whereas EOS, XRP, Litecoin, and Tron made it to the list; it even named XRP as Ripple. Anyway, overall article is bad as it's explanation on why these certain coins and tokens are good "investments" are pretty generic and bland.
I guess it's his interpretation of coins that are most promising for 2019. Skipping Bitcoin is his myopic understanding of the fact that these the price appreciation of those coins is hinged on the success of BTC

The attraction is mostly for the free tokens that would come with the fork which can be traded for some quick short term gains. Other than that I don't see the need for a fork, almost makes no sense

According to your roadmap, the Travelvee platform is supposed to come on stream on the 15th November, this is 3 days from today. Is this still in play or you'll have reason(s) to delay the launch like we see in this space.
An ANN thread where serious minded questions are supposed to be asked is replete with low quality posts like "great project", "very interesting project", "nice team", "great project with potential", etc. Looks to me like farmed accounts intended for the purpose of hyping the project.

Sounds like being too early to judge. Apart from being a small exchange with relatively low volume, I've not seen anyone complain about withdrawals stalling. If there's nothing you're doing wrong, I'll suggest you send them further tickets to lodge your complaint and be patient for a response thereafter

Just little price surge fueled by some FOMO borne out of some news piece that hit the space, and some people think XRP will over ETH permanently in second spot and even go as far as overthrowing BTC on the number 1 spot. BTC will always be the number one cryptocurrency and not some centralized coin targeted at banks

It is as we're seeing now. The ATH is reached, the fever over heats, the crash starts, gradually we experience a huge percentage loss, wailing continue for days, things start to stabilize, people reorganize themselves during stability, another upsurge begins slowly, ATH is broken, a massive run follows and the cycle continues.
You're absolutely right! This is exactly how it happened. I remember I had just come into the crypto space not long before the bull run and it played out just like this. The upsurge began slowly and became sustained for days and then there was wildfire, people putting almost their all in Bitcoin thinking the upsurge will continue. Speculators didn't help matters either, fake predictions of BTC hitting $100k fueled a lot of FOMO.

Im newbie .. what is group of telegram i need to join about airdrop token? Thank you
Quite of a lot telegram groups out there for you to join. Be careful of them airdrops as well as many of them as are scam and a complete waste of your time. Also be careful of 'earndrops', especially the ones that require you to part with some ETH to get more tokens from the airdrop, 99% of those are scams and aimed at taking the little you have. I'll advise you acquire more knowledge, or join bounties like twitter, facebook, reddit, etc. That's a better use of your time than putting it in worthless airdrops. Good luck!

which is your favorite ICO in Nowember, and why? i want find ICO with pottential, but i want ICO with 10-20 MLN$ max CAP. becouse for future Pumps - low cap = max chance for high pumps. if project will good, CAP is nothing ! ! !
Are you just wanting our opinion or you are asking for some financial advice? If so, Im telling you that even those projects with $100M collected on ICO are trash and you are asking for some 10-20M USD max cap? Unlikely, just DYOR and tell us what project it is and we'd share our opinions about it. u should try about my signature we know , EOS one of favorites to beat eth that mean eos exchange will be give big promise on someday.
I agree with this. There is no EOS exchange yet so having one and the first is big and could easily be a profit. The EOS project isn't as fantastic as it was touted to be during the year long ICO. So I don't don't much from an EOS exchange either. I'm on a break investing in any ICO for now. The projects that turn out great I'll pick up at the exchanges

11 months of decline.. who's ready for some positive headway Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!! I don't only need new pair of shoes, I need new clothing, need to some for my wife and kids too. But in all honesty, it doesn't look like a bull run is feasible this year despite the optimism.

I have a current situation, I bring some tokens with bounty to the stock exchange and try to scroll them several times, thereby increasing their number, in principle, it turns out, but my number in tokens increases, and the price of these tokens decreases, should I continue to do this? Firstly, I don’t want to stay with tokens that will not cost anything, secondly I’m afraid for example, the price has risen a little, I sell tokens so that I can buy them later at a lower price, but that moment the price starts to grow rapidly.
This is simple. The value of the tokens you have bought from selling your bounty tokens and buying more has not improved since you bought them. The value of the token has dropped, so you all you've ended doing is accumulate more tokens

Hello everyone, I saw a new CFD trading platform for cryptocurrency. ( www.mavsecure.com) I met a guy in TG and he referred me. So, how safe is to trade in CFD platforms? Is it profitable ? Telegram is filled with shills that are paid to spam different groups. I'll be weary of a recommended exchange by a random person on telegram. Leveraged trading is what those guys offer, and I'll advise you venture into it an amount you're willing to lose should anything go wrong. Leveraged is risky and could rekt you easily, so be careful.

I don't know BCH is forking since it itself is a forked coin . Anyway, since we can't stop it from forking, we shall hold some BCH to see what magic does the forked coin does. Holding them in a wallet which supports the fork will yield us some forked coins. Binance have said that they will be supporting the upcoming BCH hardfork. It's good for me since I have been holding some in Binance This answers my question. I didn't know that there will be a fork of BCH. All i was thinkling was BCH is a fork itself. Fork of a fork, hard to imagine. A bit confusing what the ticker will be. BCCCH? LOL. Just another shitcoin to be unleashed on the space Binance has announced they will support the fork, guess it's gonna be profitable for them

Struggling to understand how this concerns ICO founders, maybe one or two. The itemized information look like basic stuff a newbie in this space should know and not for ICO founders who have been in this space for a while.

Video KYC for tokens that worth how much?? Ridiculous! Miss me with it!
Sounds like a joke to me, but I got same email from blockchain and because I've no time to actually go through it, I did not know KYC was required till I saw this thread. Gradually centralization is creeping into crypto and almost taking over. This is against the ideas of decentralization IMHO.

Shitcoins have different classes;
There's a class of shitcoins that make it to the exchange, but the devs or so called team have no plans advancing the course of the project. There are no updates on the project and the community is stagnated. They simply fizzle out with time.
There's a worse class of shitcoins who's team after collecting millions from investors during ICO, leave you with shit tokens that amount to nothing and no value because they do not even make to the exchange. Most of the exit scams post ICO follow this pattern. They take the real coins from you and leave you with shitcoins from TGE.
'Projects' with telegram numbers that aren't organic are usually clear indicators of a scam. They lie about virtually everything just to lure people in to achieve their aim
