21  Economy / Goods / Re: Innosilicon A5 group buy on: August 22, 2017, 04:45:21 PM
This is currently on hold. The supplier turned out to be a scammer. Avoid Steve Wang on Alibaba. He appears to be a Trade Assurance partner, but only wants to deal on whatsapp. When I created a Trade Assurance order, he refused it. I contacted Alibaba, showed them his profile which included the trade assurance icon, and they said he is NOT a trade assurance partner. If I find a suitable supplier I will re-open this group buy. Luckily I'm not a dumbass that sends bitcoin based on a whatsapp order.

I'm guessing these are for the November batch. I spoke to innosilicon and they stated that the only orders they are taking are for the 2nd batch shipping in november. Their first orders aren't even shipping till October, but I saw you mentioned getting one here at the end of august.
No, these are for immediate shipment. I'm getting them from a reseller that bought thousands of them before offered to the public.

What you want to sell ... look at her trust!!!
If you are talking about my trust, it is total bullshit. I sold several GPU's tp a buyer using an escrow. Once the GPU's were shipped, the buyer wouldn't pay the actual shipping charges, so I had the cards returned to me. After the cards were sent, the buyer figured there was nothing I could do and when I sent him a bill for the actually shipping, he refused to pay and said "oh well" since he thought there was nothing I could do. Of course there was something I could do, and did it. I had the card returned to me and am still mining with them.

I contacted the forum mods to get the bullshit bad trust removed and they replied saying trust ratings are not moderated and nothing could be done. So........don't pay any attention to the BS trust ratings. Both the buyer and escrow piled on with a bad rating even though neither of them lost a cent. The buyers money was returned by the escrow and no harm was done, other than the buyer got pissed when he wasn't able to scam shipping charges off of me. I have proof of all of this, including messages. It is sad the forum refuses to moderate trust ratings to remove bogus hits to trust ratings.
24  Economy / Goods / Re: Innosilicon A5 group buy on: August 21, 2017, 12:17:40 PM
I was interested in getting one of these but there has been next to no info on these. No videos or pictures of these actual units. They supposedly sold the first batch and never did open orders for batch 2, but all they've said so far is "we've tested the chips".

If you get more info let us know.

Where are you located?
I live in the south eastern USA. "Innosilicon" is still taking orders through  email, but are $10k  a pop. I will thoroughly test and review the unit I get.
25  Economy / Goods / Innosilicon A5 group buy on: August 21, 2017, 09:36:26 AM
I have a contact and can get Innosilicon A5's at a good price and am thinking about doing a group buy. If you are interested please post here and I'll get everything set up, assuming enough people wish to participate. Price is $6000usd, immediate delivery upon payment. Payment is in btc. I have ordered one and it should arrive before the end of August as I am paying on the 25th. For transparency, I am waiting for the invoice to pay for the first unit. If all goes as planned, the group buy can commence.

If interested, post here. Please don't PM me as that will be ignored. Troll posts will simply be deleted. Order or don't, but keep your opinions to yourself.

Deadline for group order one is Sept. 1st. 500 units maximum on this order. These units are in stock ready to ship, or so I have been told.

I would appreciate an escrow to volunteer to hold the btc until the order is finalized and placed. I don't have time to keep up with all of it myself due to health issues. If my contact is full of shit, the escrow can return your funds.

The units will be palletized and shipped to me. The buyer will be responsible for customs and shipping cost from me to them.
26  Economy / Marketplace / Beware of "Antminer reseller" on Facebook. on: August 20, 2017, 03:33:26 PM
Outrageous prices, more than double Alibaba's insane prices. D3  for $3200 is just an example. Bought 3 from an Alibaba seller for $1800. I wish Bitmain would track down these price gouging scumbags and prevent them from buying.

From what I see so far, the Vega isn't worth the money. I only bought one to test, a water cooled version, but it hasn't arrived yet. From what I'm reading the power usage makes the Vega a terrible choice for mining.
28  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: August 14, 2017, 07:36:32 AM
So I have a bunch (16) of new L3+'s split between litecoinpool and prohashing, and nicehash seems like a better way to sell the hashing power. For the life of me though, I can't find anywhere on your site which spells out what details to give to my co-lo.

Note: I've never even seen the machines themselves, they're delivered from Bitmain to the co-lo, so I'm not too familiar with the interface. From setting up for the other services though, it seems I use a stratum url, a username and a password. Here's what I think everything ought to be set to, I'd appreciate any input if I'm going wrong somewhere

  • The stratum URL should be set to stratum+tcp://scrypt.us.nicehash.com:3333#xnsub  - is this correct ? I can't find it stated anywhere if the L3+ units support #xnsub or not. If it's supported, is there a '/' like for BFG/KNC miner
  • The username should be a bitcoin address from my wallet
  • Do I set the password to an identifier for the individual worker ? I think I saw that this ought to be blank
I saw that you state you provide individual worker statistics, but I'm not clear on how that works. Do I provide a different bitcoin receiving address for each worker, is that it ?

Thanks

Hi Spaced.......assuming you are the same from the ltc forum
Your url looks correct and L3+ can use xnsub. For the wallet address add a worker name like btcaddy.worker, that way you can track each worker on one page. I use x for the password, but you can set a few parameters such as start diff in the password field. I don't find this very useful. Most pools will adjust quickly anyway.

Hey Xardas. Yep, same 'ole me Smiley

Thanks dude - I've been noticing that litecoinpool has been a bit wobbly recently, so looks like a move is on the cards.

Well good to see you here. For those that don't know, SpacedCowboy is one of the smartest people in the crypto universe. Using the word smart doesn't really do him justice. Genius get marginally closer to the truth, but is still lacking. It is quite likely you have some of his work in your possession. Don't let the lack of posts fool you. Wink

Would you please offer a "night mode" color scheme? The current scheme is way too bright

Same goes for bitcointalk
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: August 01, 2017, 11:07:53 PM
What is the port for scrypt coin-switching? Not algo switching. These are Bitmain L3+'s and only mine scrypt. I have my hub workers and tried 12576 and 17576 to get the miners going on GAME, but only got 20576 to work. Both the others showed as dead.

I'm recovering from  heart surgery and am not up to date on a lot of things, but one answer I need.

Has anyone found the cause and solution for this error?

Code:
10:29:53:076	410	Cannot get Overdrive capabilities for adapter 30
10:29:53:076 410 Cannot get Overdrive capabilities for adapter 6
10:29:53:076 410 Cannot get Overdrive capabilities for adapter 12
10:29:53:092 410 Cannot get Overdrive capabilities for adapter 36
10:29:53:092 410 Cannot get Overdrive capabilities for adapter 24
10:29:53:092 410 Cannot get Overdrive capabilities for adapter 18
10:29:53:092 410 em hbt: 0, dm hbt: 0, fm hbt: 0,
10:29:53:092 410 watchdog - thread 0 (gpu0), hb time 94
10:29:53:092 410 watchdog - thread 1 (gpu0), hb time 0

I've searched the net a little, but honestly my health isn't helping. I have one miner plagued with this problem. It can't run 9.7 in mode 0 or 1, stock settings, modded bios except for one replacement card that recently arrived. Running on win10 pro, plenty of virtual memory  and overkill for a PSU (EVGA 1600 t2). This miner will run and mine claymore using NiceHashMiner_v1.7.5.13, but the logs inside it show the error is still happening. I think nicehash has a better restart routine versus watchdog and reboot.bat.

I'm wanting to bag hold some coins, but am unable to mine or dual mine using 9.7 because the miner won't run more than a few minutes before watchdog kicks in and the miner gets stuck, and reboot rarely works.

Probably phishing/scam emails. I got one saying $4k but sent from service@hpyqeq.delphiblub.com

The real Baikal has never contacted me from that address, and I have talked with them many times.

When the deal was done we took measurements and a wild guess on weigh.

Isn't that your obligation to do so, though? Sounds like it's your fault that you took a guess on the weight of the package and thus shipped it, misinformed.

In factg we doubled USPS weight, but USPS would not accept the packages

Was the weight double of what you guessed or was it half of what you guessed?

so I had to take then to UPS, where the weight was WAY off. One package was over $50 and the other over $60, We had guessed the weight at less than 40 lbs total. When I informed the buyer, I got an "oh well".

And they forced you to ship it out? Did you not want to ensure proper communication and that the buyer was going to pay for the shipping instead of doing what you thought would have forced him to pay more for the shipping?
We had no way to actually weigh the packages. The packages were returned, the buyer wasn't out a cent in shipping.
35  Economy / Reputation / Re: Link to the trust forum please on: June 28, 2017, 11:08:05 PM
And you didn't see the fact that you had to pay extra for shipping because...?

I'm not losing $70 just becasuse he thinks there was nothing I could do about it. UPS returned to shipper free of charge and I'm happily mining the cards, instead of the buyer being a man and paying the actual shipping cost.

I'm not letting these people slander me when they were trying to screw me. I just didn't allow it. Please move to the appropriate section:

I was selling cards to a buyer and I got tired of constant bitching from the escrow Lauda and kept the cards myself. There is no law I have to sell something to someone and after the buyer saw me getting stuck over $100 in extra shipping, they were like "oh well". No offer was made to make up the shipping difference since they thought there was nothing I could do about it, since the packages had already shipped. Well there was something I could and did do........had the packages returned to sender. Once the buyer saw I COULD do something, they all of a sudden wanted to pay the extra shipping. Well fook you. You should have offered the extra shipping ASAP and the deal would have gone through.. You thought you had me screwed, well, obviously you didn't.

Lauda 84: -0 / +11   2017-06-17   0.00000000   Reference   They were the seller in a deal that I was escrowing. Said that I was "constantly bitching" for telling them to use the 'Reply to all option' for transparency. Additionally, they made a sudden 180* turn and canceled everything after a few days.
Absolutely untrustworthy and unprofessional person that I would not deal with again.

Who sells the devices to hardware turn a miner on or off?
38  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Nvidia GPU mining system on: June 13, 2017, 09:16:17 AM
Its modifed 8 Pci-e mobo. And these miners are like Panda. But they are sold out. As most of them use Rx480 which are sold out. Gues you have to wait for that 13 pci-e slot mobo.
Link? Since this is a nvidia program, I find it  hard to believe it will be using RX480's
39  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Nvidia GPU mining system on: June 12, 2017, 07:21:32 PM
Where can these be bought?

you have to build them.
Not according to articles. They are purpose built and use different mobo and card connections,

Looks to me like they built it for test comparison not for selling them.
Well you would be very wrong. All over China people are ordering these things like mad.
