I'm heading to the drugstore downtown....... Anyone else feel they need a tube of astroglide? I feel like Tim Robbins in Shawshank Redemption.

I just received an email from "Rebecca". Below is her email and my response: ________________________________________________ Hi “Becca”, The gig is up. We found that ctsminer.com was associated with the IP of 185.8.106.66 when it was first registered. That is the SAME IP address that butterflyiab.com used to perpetrate their scam. We can only come to the conclusion that you are a part of that scam and this new scam as well. If we have made a mistake, please provide evidence. If I don’t hear back from you, then I will know or sure that you are the same scam group that fooled many before. If that is that case, you have my congratulations. You guys are evil geniuses. You played it so well and created a lot of data points that made it look legit. The phone number being only a single digit off of CMS was genius. And the british voice being so similar to their message was also amazing. I fell for it hook line and sinker. I have never been scammed before and I learned a painful but valuable lesson. Thank you, Daryl On Jan 26, 2014, at 12:28 AM, Rebecca Saunders < r.saunders@ctsminer.com> wrote: Hi Again Daryl, Yes, although not been accepted by the wider Bitcoin audience, sales are still going very well. They don't want to invest heavily into producing chips but they did invest in PR. 3. She completely avoided your IP question. 4. She appreciates what you have done... wat? 5. No international bank transfers and they are in the microprocessor industry for like 40 years or so (since 1975)? lolwat? You got it backwards. First part is my response. 2nd part is her email.

OMFG, they are so new, that none of the other services have them in their database. The original service just seems to be down because it no longer works with ANY domain. Maybe it will start working again at some point. Keep checking. If it loads, take a SCREENSHOT!

I am eating crow right now. My brother uncovered some information that says this is most certainly a SCAM. I verified his findings and have sent a note to hosting company that is hosting ctsminer.com I went here: https://support.namecheap.com/index.php?/default/Tickets/SubmitI chose "Domains -- Legal and Abuse" and submitted this data to them: _______________________________________________________________________________ _________ SCAM WEBSITE you are hosting. Domain: ctsminer.com IP: 199.188.201.252 http://domains-by-day.com/2014-01-24/ctsminer.com-domain-name-data.htmlshows that ctsminer.com was originally associated with IP 185.8.106.66 (on another network) THIS IS A KNOWN SCAMMER IP: https://www.virustotal.com/en/ip-address/185.8.106.66/information/Many previous attempts at fraud from domains on that same IP have been perpetrated most notably "butterflyiab.com". It is famous. it was a copy of the legit site, butterflylabs.com. They tricked a lot of people out of their bitcoin. This company is currently taking bitcoin payments and swindling people out of their hard earned currency. Others on our forum also tracked the bitcoin payments on the block chain and this company is using their fraudulently obtained bitcoin to purchase mining hardware. This is a CLEAR SCAM. You are LEGALLY OBLIGATED to take it down IMMEDIATELY. BE ADVISED THAT YOU CAN BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES INCURRED FROM THAT WEBSITE FROM THIS MOMENT ON. You have been informed. YOU CAN REVIEW OUR RESEARCH ON THE FORUM HERE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=429513.msg4744813#msg4744813_______________________________________________________________________________ _________ Everybody else on this forum needs to send something similar informing them of the scam. Unfortunately, they don'y provide a telephone number. I am totally distraught right now, because of the lost BTC. Going to go cry myself to sleep now. Good night all.... BTW, someone should probably contact FBI or something and let them know too. I'm to tired to deal with this right now. I need sleep.

If this is indeed a scam. I will be the 1st to cry like a baby and like my wounds and move on. But, I not not see where they are using those bitcoins to buy mining hardware. I followed dozens of the links to the end and found nothing. Help us out here.

I did one transaction inside paypal, and that was done outside of eBay. The paypal one worries me, but the guy seems very understanding and is okay with shipping in April. The other the guy wired funds, so no worries on that one.

Dooh!, OK, time for me to speak up now you guys have made it pretty obvious it's a complete scam, they got me hook line and sinker. I was working on something else at the time and, distracted, I didn't do enough due-dilligence. No excuse really. I missed the bit where they claimed their chips were made in-house. I knew nobody in the UK fabs 20nm - in the UK. That would have rung big alarm bells with me. If you want a bitcoin address to chase, I've put the one I sent coins to below. For what it's worth. Hopefully a minimum of people will have been got by this thanks to your detective work. It's the first time I've been scammed over the internet and I will try to make sure it's my last. View Order

Just because no one previously had a 20nm fab facility, does not mean that one has been built or is being built now. Of course if one was being built it would certainly be kept secret, until the announcement. Hopefully this can all be validated on Monday, otherwise I will be eating crow. Rebecca did tell me (in an email) that she is putting more information together to post to ease our concerns. I stressed to her how important it was to provide information that can be validated. I have never been scammed before and I have always smelled them from a mile away. If she is a scammer, she is the best dam scammer I have ever met.

Btw who made the connection between CTS and CMS? Was it Rebecca or someone here?
Read the thread and most of your questions will be answered. BUT, yes, Rebecca made the connection and I validated it to my satisfaction. Read the thread to see my findings..

Yeah, hang on a minute. You added that eBay screenshot after I responded. I thought you sold them with the buy-it-now option as you stated. Both Neptunes sold in about a minute on ebay. Thank you.
And Both Neptunes sold in about a minute on ebay. Thank you.
Do you mind sharing the price you sold them for? Also how do you handle the trust issue? How do you make the buyer trust you that you will ship the miners after you receive them? Thank you. $16,500 and I think I was too low. I didn't do an auction. Just buy now button. I did, but I added the button after my initial setup as an auction. You can add it at any time. Buy it now is working better for me. I don't like the auction either when I am a buyer. It's annoying.

No you are a fraudster, eBay did not remove your listing because of a 30 day policy, they removed it as a fraud and scam to protect the buyers. It is right there in what you posted scammer.
Like I said. I don't care what you think. My buyers will get my pre-orders from KNC. I think you are just angry and like to come onto forums and attempt to get people in a tizzy by making false accusations, when those same people are only trying to share what they think with community.

When you were doing all that vigorous research Phoenix/maui, did you look at CMS's product page? http://www.cms.uk.com/cms_products.htmlThe products they produce range in price from £25 - £95. The premises RickJames found on google seem appropriate for a small company producing products in that price range. Anyone who believes these is a 20nm production facility behind those doors needs their head examined. Just so they will know better the next time Phoenix/maui, this is what a fab facility looks like: edited out pic Hell, I sell $20 cards by the thousands, my facility is much more impressive than either CMS shed. I could house fab stuff I should start an asic company. Look back just a couple posts.... still looking for the facility The picture I posted is the address they list on the website, it has the cms logo, and it is a shed. That totally is there logo. I did not notice on the 1st look. It does look like a shed, made of bricks. But certainly not a fabrication facility. It is obviously just their office, but I must admit, am a little worried now.

Reading this thread leads me to the following suggestion ..
How about we ask the 'mods' to stickie a new thread in "hardware" that lists all the hardware vendors that have been duly "vetted" by the community ?? By "vetted" I mean an equipment vendor that has infact delivered product .. It should include vendors for SHA-256 and Scrypt miners .. The list can be edited going forward as new vendors are vetted or old ones no longer qualify .. It would be a useful resource for the thread regulars and anyone looking to buy equipment from proven suppliers without having to spend days weeding thru the forums to get reliable info ..
Just an idea ..
Triff ..
That is an excellent suggestion form someone who is thinking of solutions. CTS Miner is certainly not "vetted", because they have shipped nothing. I just happen to think they will. Although I reserve the right to change my mind at ANY time. KNC was not vetted until people actually started receiving hardware. Once they did, then all the people who played it safe, placed their orders. The people who took a risk were rewarded. This is a risk, and hopefully I will be rewarded and not totally shafted.

Still waiting for your proof of purchase maui. Also if you would be so kind as to post your KNC eBay sale that would go a long way to prove that you are not totally full of shit like I think you are.
Below are some pics of my orders from KNC & CTS Miner. As well as the message from ebay. They deleted both my listing because of the 30 day policy. I sold them both before eBay deleted them. Don't ask me for anything else, because you are not going to get it. If you don't believe me, I don't care. If you think CTS is a scam, then don't buy one. BTW, I found another possible location, but it's so far from the road, that it way too blurry to read. It looks like the CMS logo, but really hard to tell. Look for it yourself.

Also, the sign on the building you posted says Corporate Mailing Solutions... Is that Cambridge Microprocessor Systems?? You suck at this.
