21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - $1,000 increase on: July 18, 2018, 09:12:47 AM
Bitcoin saw an expected $1,000 or 10% increase in one week. Is this a sign of bull market. I can't say the bull will continue unless such increasement  continue then I will consider it Bull. In the meantime, The Bull Market Is definitely coming. And when it does for how long will the markets sustain it.
Yea we are expectant, more prospects
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide !!!! on: July 17, 2018, 07:01:10 PM
Bitcoins distributors are increasing. Indeed, the symbolic bar of the 3 000 distributors in the world has just been crossed, and there are about six new installations each day. So the situation is changing very quickly.

Honestly I can't understand people who are using ATMs to buy bitcoin or any other altcoin - crypto in general. Most of the time rates are way higher than if you go and register on some exchange and trade directly. Secondly, there is no support on the spot and some ATMs even ask you to provide them with your IDs and they will take the picture even if you are buying only one time and guess what this doesn't sound like the best deal for me. You give them your ID and you overpay for the price for what? If you are going to do KYC better is to follow up and go with trustworthy exchange in my opinion.
i seem to agree with your view

Not all of them are allowing to buy and sell crypto-currencies ( 35%) However only half of the distributors offer anything other than Bitcoin, the Litecoin being the most popular crypto-currency.

Really, Litecoin is the most popular, that's really surprising to me. Can you share where you found those numbers?
I assume you mean that it's the most popular after Bitcoin, right?

I wish there were more ATM's in my country. We have 6 in total, spread out over 4 cities.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: July 14, 2018, 03:51:28 PM
It is good start for the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland to adopt bitcoin as tuition to their student. Hoping here in my country adopt bitcoin as tuition in colleges and universities like what they did by lucerne university. The initial start of adopting bitcoin as tuition in Lucerne University have a big impact in crypto world and i think there are possibility some schools and colleges in other country do what lucerne did.
wao so now my dream of going to Lucerne is here.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin To $65000 In 2018 - Bitcoin ETF Explained ! on: July 14, 2018, 01:27:00 PM
I still strong believe in bitcoin as strong curreny reach again the old price high before end of this year but 65000$ Prediction hit of bitcoin in this year is crazy it's price expectation 30,000$ or more than that price hit of bitcoin before end of year are not possible if the market demands become strong.
cryptocurrency is an emerging market, there it bound to experience some setbacks before it will finalily stabilized, not is new of the present.we expected it.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: July 14, 2018, 12:59:35 PM
Most of the time, these people don't like bitcoin because it's unstable.
However, bitcoin and blockchain are inseparable, which is the most important point.
yea i agree with your view.

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoin in Nigeria on: July 13, 2018, 05:35:51 PM
My fear.

Is not that Nigeria lacking behind?. Hell shouldn't be.  I see lome Africans growing faster and faster when it comes to bitcoin utilization but here in Nigeria reverse is the case.
Certainly Nigeria will definately recognise cryptocurrency, last year the CBN recognised cryptocurrency as a viable alternative to money.but no policy on it yet.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada? WOW! on: July 13, 2018, 04:43:14 PM

30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption can save lives now! on: July 13, 2018, 04:24:55 PM
A friend of mine in South Africa phoned me yesterday and informed me that another person died yesterday in a cash-in-transit heist. These robberies have increase significantly in the last couple of months. See link below :

https://businesstech.co.za/news/banking/246259/there-have-been-135-cash-in-transit-incidents-already-in-2018/

This got me thinking, Why do security guards and cops and sometimes even civilians have to die for other people's cash?

The current Fiat system increase the probability that people have to die, because cash have to be moved from one location to the next and merchants need to have cash on site for their business.

How many clerks working at merchant locations have to die for their owners cash? <7Eleven / Corner shop / Malls>

Bitcoin can reduce this today!

The adoption of Bitcoin remove the need for cash on location, so the robbers have no need to hurt or kill people to get to the cash. The bitcoins received can be deposited directly into a Bitcoin address at a safe location or at a third party payment processor and transferred electronically to your Bank, if you want to convert to fiat.

The employee or clerk working at your shop cannot steal your money or be in danger, because he or she does not have physical access to the money/bitcoins and this money does not need to be transported, so the security guards are not needed.

Let's increase Bitcoin adoption today, and save lives!
actually i have been an advocate of digitalization, because we will save ourselbes a lot of troubles while we prosper
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brisbane International Airport Now Accept Cryptocurrencies on: July 13, 2018, 04:08:54 PM

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: July 13, 2018, 02:56:16 PM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.
i have for sometime now told people that bitcoin or cryptocurrency is the future we have yarn for, let embrace it, it has come to stay
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoin in Nigeria on: July 12, 2018, 07:51:01 AM
Bitcoin is the last of their concerns.  The problems in Nigeria and Africa are deeply rooted in their government and exploitation.  Using cryptocurrency will not solve their problems.
the problem of africa maybe deeply rooted in their government but one thing that is certain is that the world is moving towards a monoeconomy, so africa will have no choice than to catch up.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell Bitcoins ? on: July 11, 2018, 02:37:45 PM
10 to 12 times profit is 14 years is OK. Then it stops as per normal trading in financial markets. Now stock markets will most likely see -30% fall.

$400 to $7000 in 4 years for bitcoin is 20 times profit. This could be the reason Bitcoin starts falling from $6,700.

When will you sell Bitcoins ??
the sole reason we are into this market is to make profit, so i will only sell my bitcoin when the price shoots
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin not used in medical billing? on: July 11, 2018, 12:53:06 PM
I am a person working in the health sector. I am looking forward to one day co-bitcoin be used to pay for medical examination and treatment and health care services.
yea i am optimistic that one day the world will come to accept bitcoin or crytocurrency generally an alternative legal tender.the future looks towards this direction.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is FUTURE !!! on: July 10, 2018, 06:56:48 AM
I saw here on bitcointalk forum mostly people ask what will happen with bitcoin in future? or Bitcoin in Future? I must say here to clear them one thing That BITCOIN is FUTURE. And we will see bitcoin ruling world very soon.

Need your opinions?

with all confidence i see bitcoin as the future financial transactions, look we must accept it that bitcoin has come to stay, even countries that are yet to adopt bitcoin as an alternative currency will have no choice than to do that,  if the are really thinking of making progress.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Other uses of blockchain technology? on: July 08, 2018, 02:45:58 PM
the technology of block chain is extremely helpful. The usage of block chain does not just limit to the usage around crypto currencies. firms are investing on research on block chain to use it in their business, as the usage will make it beneficial for their business. The block chain can be used as a database to store information of every firm.
[blockchain technology should be adopted in the electoral process also, especially where issues of result falsification is a norm. We need this technology actually. ]
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: July 08, 2018, 02:39:49 PM
We all know how powerful bitcoins are especially in financial terms. Having one makes you feel like a newly-crowned king ready for his throne and lux. Its value and essence is something that we cannot just ignore, resulting for some people relying on these 'God-given grace' instead of working hard and gaining the money that their own country uses. Some thought that it would be better off to have bitcoins and convert it into any kind of currency rather than to get a job and earn some thing. What do you think? Will bitcoin be able to eclipse the existence of national currencies in the near future?

Yes bitcoin may be a treat to some businesses, but on larger scope, it's putting more money into pockets than this business do. So I say it's a healthy treat. By the way for us to make any dramatic change for a long time future, we have to loose sight of the present. This business can also key into the idea, and minimize loss
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, Ukraine is the Latest Bitcoin Friendly Country? on: July 07, 2018, 04:34:14 PM
I heard Ukraine is going to legalize the Bitcoin. The government in Kiev has taken concrete steps to legalize cryptocurrency mining. Ukraine’s Minister of Economy has ordered several ministries, agencies, and the National Bank to prepare the documents necessary to include mining in the state register of economic activities. This is a pleasure, Thanks Ukraine government. Welcome bitcoin friendly country list .

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/ukraine-to-legalize-crypto-mining-as-economic-activity/
I believe gradually, most countries will come to accept bitcoin as an alternative currency, some countries are just yet to come to terms with the whole idea. But sure there are prospects for bitcoin
