https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/ I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction. currency or asset is a big question and debate in the community, it of course has characteristics of both but it depends on your own definitions. I personally use it more like an asset, store in away to hold the value, but so,etimes spend it as money too

Bitcoin in 2018 is strongly adjusted. Many investors have lost hope in this market. However, I think this is a necessary and reasonable adjustment, I believe that the end of 2018 will have a strong rhythm for bitcoin.
very true, always disappointing to see people lose hope but people have to also remember that parabolic run up in December time was just insane, way too much to be maintained so this is only natural and healthy for normal growth

If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now. Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.
we've been hearing words like 'bubble' and 'scam' for long enough now to know those kinds of accusations don't hold any weight, bitcoin is the real OG crypto and has come such a long way over the last 10 years it will not simply explode

I've heard and read many analysts actually optimistic about this last big dive in the market flow, they believe it's a signal for a big bull in the next semester. But I find hard to believe as I'm not seeing why exactly they see that, what you guys think? Hmmm im always suspicious of what analysts say, I think it's all about market sentiment really on the whole, so there needs to be positive feelings about the space overall. That said, at least I can get more for my fiat at the moment

im pretty sure you'll be fine just using a hardware wallet in the proper way. I have a trezor and I've never had an issue with my funds on there. people having their funds on exchanges makes me cringe so I needed them in my own hands lol. youll sleep better at night with a hardware wallet knowing they can't be hacked

crypto is definitely only for those willing to take a risk- the whole market is built on future speculation after all! but those in it who have the right amount of knowledge and experience know there's a lot of upside if those risks work out in the end. its all about your own risk threshold

There are big fundamental differences between the two but I agree healthy competition between different projects is good for the space

It depends what you mean by safer. If you mean won't lose value then the bank as cryptos are extremely unpredictable, but offer better upsides on the positive. If you mean safer as in more protected then definitely your own crypto, so long as you have it stored correctly

sorry you are in the wrong board, here this is the board that you should be on: Altcoins board. pump and dump is what is happening to altcoins not to bitcoin. just because price is going up it doesn't mean it is a "pump". price has reached the bottom, couldn't go below the support which proved to be extra strong and now the trend (downtrend that has been going on for 7 months) is being reversed, so price is rising. Seconded! Feeling like the market is due to turn around soon, the tech is advancing nicely. And pump Bitcoin lol it would take some gargantuan whales to be pump and dumping Bitcoin!

The question is roaming in my mind just after hearing that FB is going to explore blockchain and might launch their very own crypto. Like Facebook, is twitter thinking on the same way?? What do you think??I hope Twitter to be also in the industry that may take the business in another level.
Your valuable thoughts are appreciated.
Well maybe not right now but I certainly hope soon! The sooner the big players adopt blockchain in any official capacity the better for the space. I think it is inevitable though, all great tech takes time to become adopted.
