If this is indeed true and you are a champion of justice why did you not post this in the CAPs thread on May27, 2014 when you received it.  Looks like you have only developed a conscience today (thinly veiled as revenge).  Why is that?  Says a lot about what kind of person you really are.  If that pump had happened and you benefited from it...would you be here now??

It is true, and you reveal more about the type of person you are by twisting my words;-)
There is no revenge here, I was simply informing members/investors of the intentions of some of the 'core' CAPS folks, as well as calling you out on your lies (your job?). No, I did not invest. Shake himself has called this an "in-house" Cryptsy scam-coin.

P.S. Thank you Hillux for mentioning me on the Quark thread (more lies can be found there), thus reminding me to reply here to you today..

And btw. I am still interested in proof for the scam Coinmama carried out. Let me guess: Someone told ya?
Yes someone did...Coinmama.  She posted PMs between herself and DigitalIndustry (and the rest of the Quark Foundation) that illustrated an attempt to pump CAPs and use the profit to pump QRK.  So I asked her why she didn't share that info immediately...instead of months later when it didn't work out showing her morality is false.  Alas she went silent.

Thank you for bringing these links here for everyone to see, and also reminding me to answer you on the CAPs thread as well (if and when I get around to it)

You AntiQuark people are nuts....

...Since we are revealing the 'truth' people should know that Coinmama was part of the team that created the game ET: The Extra Terrestrial game for Atari2600 that totally collapsed the video game industry in 1983.  She did an even worse job as a project leader for the Quark Foundation.  The ledger shows most of the Quark donations ended up being spent at gambling sites.

OMG, lol.. Hillux, the great deliverer of 'truth'(not!)...all bow to the great and honorable (sockpuppet/shill) Hillux, who has been with Quark from the very beginning, valiantly defending its (and Digital Industry's) credibility from day one. Hmmm, such integrity...well Hillux, since you have been with Quark since the beginning, you should be aware of Digital Industry's involvement since that time, no?... After all, Shake himself has said so...

But...you should also be aware that my primary involvement was getting the mobile wallet (the only real infrastructure, btw) accomplished, and also promoting multiple projects on the (now dead) Trello board (https://trello.com/b/1hBBvhoE) . Yet, you lie about/mock the involvement of once dedicated members, why? ?? What is your interest in doing this, (other than maybe to make the coin go worthless until the next pump?)

But... then again, what ever was your involvement Hillux?!, other than bashing all the core members and lying while defending DigitalIndustry(known scammer) family??

No, I never invested in pumping CAPS, lol. Why would I invest in that in-house Cryptsy scam coin?? Thanks for bringing it up tho!

23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: digitalindustry aka kolin evans busted on planning a scam on: November 19, 2014, 12:45:38 AM
I have been away for a while from all the discussions on this forum, but QuarkFX has done a good job above summarizing what he knows- I will only add a few things--The discovery of Kolins article on "How Fraudsters operate" has been my inspiration for this post...

Kolin's many suggestions/comments prior to coming to the merge-mine discussion ALWAYS indicated that HIS MOTIVES lay in making money first for himself(and the insiders he would need to pull off his scams) at anyones expense, then supporting Quark secondarily( mainly for pump purposes). I say this because the quoted text in the OP included Kolin's initial suggestions on how to find and pump a dead coin (Mooncoin, CAPs and galaxycoin are the ones he suggested as good candidates) by getting a temporary dev (who would then of course abandon the coin once profits were made), and use the profits to buy/ pump Quark(then rinse & repeat). Kolin approached the members of the QuarkFoundation with the proposal to "work smarter, not harder" in order to make some money--and then the above discussions began.

The other Quote in the OP toward the bottom(May 31, "the result is amazing" refers to the other proposal by Kolin to release a Quark family IPO where insiders(the Foundation) would issue the Quark family coins "Quark Synergy" in exchange for Quark payment which would go into addresses owned by us but anonymously shuffled by his wallet shuffling contact.

Unfortunately in the end Victor decided that it was more worthwhile to go with Kolin for a secretly launched  coin(for later rebranding/merge mining with Quark)--which of course meant going behind everyone's back AND despite any objections  about Kolin OR the appearance of a secretly launched coin looking like a scam (Kolin specifically stated that it was important to get a jumpstart on mining for a "mining monopoly" to help control price/dumping...)

More quotes from Digital Industry and how he operates here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=241445.msg9586936#msg9586936

There is much more than this, but you get the point- His involvement in pumping and dumping coins at anyones expense is clear...

Quote from: DigitalIndustry
:
"I.e we buy it as worthless junk and sell it as more valuable worthless junk.

And we use every trick in the book and trust me being in this industry I know them all"

In any event, I am no longer involved in or trusting Quark or any of its projects, for the reasons above AND also having the recent confirmation that Quark has been a partnership between Max and Kolin from the beginning(having unexpected luck/success with the Bill Still bribe), AND also the Foundation (...manipulated/created by Kolin as well).

For all the honest people who genuinely believed in and defended Quark against allegations, invested countless hours and money into Quark- I know that some of this is very disappointing- As a person who falls into that category, including helping get the awesome mobile wallet created as well as supporting other projects with Quarkfx, silvermetal, quarkcheck, I was among the disappointed.

By the way, we were closer than anyone knew to getting at least one ATM with Quark support, so Digitalindustry pretty much shot himself in the foot there...

**Please note, Kolin has also written the following article, which is the equivalent of an arsonist writing about fire investigation (while claiming to be Fire Chief): http://www.coinspeaker.com/2014/11/06/cryptocurrency-fraud-part-1-identifying-ways-in-which-fraudsters-operate/
Please note also "Christian MacCauley" (https://twitter.com/CMacauley82) and other sockpuppets are there in full force, lol..

Additionally, he is involved currently in pumping Mooncoin, CAPs and has had a hand in many, many others(Digitalcoin, kopimicoin, HBN, Nybble, Coffeecoin/spoetacoin/perfectcoin(?)). This is his line of work, scamming people (pumping and dumping) for profit.

I do know that DigitalIndustry is interested in CAPS and thats all about him...
You "silvermetal" probably lost some money on Quark and You are blaming DI for that. That is not my bisness but if You got any proffs that CAPS is Scam Roll Eyes so show us.

Bottlecaps Early History:
As far as I remember off teh top of my head Bottlecaps was created by BitJohn and Mullick from Cryptsy....pretty much all DigitalIndustry had to do with CAPs is campaign for the change from BOT to CAPs and provided the nice Fallout graphics.  Tranz took over CAPs because Mullick all but abandoned it and has done an excellent job with CAPs as with HBN.  For what its worth DigitalIndustry didn't have much if anything to do with Quark in the early months either, I do not remember much from him in regards to Quark until Nov 2013.

History might get blurry when told second hand but start at page1 of a coins thread and its all there. Smiley

Silvermetal is a deranged anti-Quark troll that now follows DigitalIndustry from thread to thread, and is caught up in a 'beautiful mind' type conspiracy where everyone is a sockpuppet of DigitalIndustry...

Thanks for explaining.

Yes, thanks for some solid facts.

Solid facts??! Lol. If anyone thinks SilverMetal is simply a troll who lost money, think again...
Actually Hillux and friends, the history is blurry by design- and Hillux knows more of the truth than he lets on..I will elaborate...
No offense Hillux but you are lying, and also you are clearly a part of the Digital Industry "family", always coming to this scammer's defense. Further, since you have been involved with Qrk(and CAPs and HBN, etc) since the very beginning you should know that A) he attempted to scam the Qrk community with the MimicCoin/B9 fiasco, B) Silvermetal was NEVER an anti-quark troll but a very dedicated supporter, until DigitalIndustry scammed everyone and C) DigitalIndustry was in fact involved with QRK from the beginning, same with CAPS..And since this is a CAPS thread, I will post here what DigitalIndustry himself says about CAPs:

Quote from: DigitalIndustry May 27,2014
"I'm going to use Caps as an example it was my inception and others believed I had big plans for it so they jumped in and made a "straw man" version of it.

Which was fine as it was a straw currency ha , anyhow let's look at it ..."

"Three letter is CAP . (on my insistence)

It was released as an NVC fork but had many problems at the start then was deserted as the straw currency it was.

Went very low for the cap and basically the market psychology ave up on it"...

"Along comes "Tranz" now he's undertaking "revitalization" which includes ha ha increasing the stake to 200% pa ha ha (which by the way is totally crazy)"

"Now what will happen ?

People are starting to buy it up , then the propaganda will begin with "Tokyo ghetto" realizing consistency in stake returns , and the price will rise 100s of % ..."

Other than that it's very hard not to make % gains.  It will just be around how much."

So for anyone who wonders where "Digital Industry" is coming from, he laid out the entire plan, including TokyoGhetto's role- He is only interested in pumping and dumping every coin he has ever been involved with, including CAPs..He makes his living this way... Kudos to Silvermetal who has only been interested in exposing the truth about DigitalIndustry and his "family" of sockuppets and shills...Oh and just to be clear, the above quotes were to the Quark Foundation from Digital Industry regarding pumping CAPs for profit...and THEN using those profits to artificially pump Quark.
~Coinmama(former project leader, Quark Foundation)

start a new official thread with moderation, or alternatively you can inquire as to whether this thread can become moderated and/or have Max change the password access.

This thread cannot be made into a modded thread.

Why start a modded thread?  People here don't respect devs with self moderated threads - it's indicative of scams and power tripping devs.

I say learn how to better deal with other people and better communicate; cause that's kinda how the real world works.

Cheers!

ok, but perhaps having Kolin as the person who controls the OP is indicative of the same thing?? lol, just sayin!

Digital Industry has access to the OP.
No I don't think he does. Why would Max share the password for the announcement thread ? It doesn't make much sense.

Lol. Does anything make sense??! He posted the mobile wallet images for me, and even admitted above that he has access.

I believe the best idea was already suggested: start a new official thread with moderation, or alternatively you can inquire as to whether this thread can become moderated and/or have Max change the password access.

Mac duro's games bundle qrk thread needs a link on the OP really.  Actually the entire OP could do with a bit touch up.

Who actually has access to the OP along with MAX?

I know VIC did but since he has gone, who else can post important links there?

I think only Max has access to OP, he recently added quarktalk.org

Julie has got involved with Macduro project, there are ongoing discussion on how to move forward, if you tell me your forum user I'll invite you to that conversation or you can post your ideas directly on the thread directly: http://quarktalk.org/threads/searching-project-leader-s-steam-gamers-quark-project.128/

I know james had access to the OP before.

We need someone that is very trusted and very active to have access to the OP. Of course it should up to max at this point to select whom he trusts. I would guess coinmama, maok, or someone else whom he knows well. However, only one person should have it so we know who is responsible for any changes.

Although MAX seems more active now, so perhaps he will update if people send him the info over.

I have now joined quarktalk and will certainly contribute there. However, i do think we need to keep a very active presence on this board too .

This is merely the coin's announcement thread. Only the OP should have access to it, thats my opinion. Once Quark community will get bigger over at the new forum we will have to seriously consider contacting all merchants, block explorers, exchanges to change their Quark discussion link from this one(which is an announcement) to the official forum website.. we will see along the way but until then.... we have Alphanuma(global mod from old forum) back: http://quarktalk.org/threads/new-users-important-read.119/#post-1084

Digital Industry has access to the OP.

Quark 0.9.2 Test4 available

This release adds Quark mining and the mining UI settings to the Quark 0.9.2 core.

The built-in miner has been tested and the wallet has also been tested with the sgminer GPU miner.

If no major issues are found in this release then this should be the final 0.9.2 test release before this branch is merged into the main Quark branch.

Thanks for all the feedback received from testers.

Note: Remember to backup your Quark wallet and data directories before updating.

http://quarktalk.cc/ It's a great way to keep the community active. You can see the amount of Crypto (Quark in this case) each member has earned by their contributions underneath their username; the more you contribute (post/get likes) the more you earn. Once a week there is a pay out to your address. 200 members have already signed up, i believe some other alts want to implement it as well.

200! Already?! This is great news:D

Also there is a nice promo going on there that if you can show proof of a mined block for Quark, you can earn additional Quark.

Can KJO be banned from this forum? His inflammatory posts are unwelcome.

DigitalIndustry might be eccentric and annoy the hell out of many people, but he makes many excellent points. He is also, unlike KJO, a supporter of QRK.

You misunderstand me completely Cricket. At one time I held quite a few quarks and I continue to support it completely. I remain bullish on its interesting fundamentals and feel it is a great coin with a fair launch. My problem is not with quark or any of its supporters. My issues are with Kolin Evans. The way he speaks to holders and the extremely bad karma he has imprinted upon Quark is beyond disturbing.

I've come to my senses and wish to apologize to this community for stooping to kolin's level. I've edited my posts because I was in poor taste.

I watched the birth of quark. I was there during the meteoric rise. I watched incredible people like Coinmama, James, Vic, QuarkFX, Flatlands, QuarkCheck, etc, and many many more come into this community and make it a "brand" and not just a coin.

I watched the crash and held.

The more the price dropped, the more I bought.

Then I became aware of kolin's ways and his "evil sick vibe" (as quoted from a BTC whale I brought to quark's door who refused to buy after researching kolin's "public face".

Dumb money invests in coins. Smart money invests in people. It is so true.

It makes me sick to even indirectly support kolin evans so I began selling off qrk for every instance in which he exhibited unethical and/or immoral behavior not conducive to quark's reputation and community.

Today I have none left, lol.

It is the only way this can be. I call it the "Kolin Evans Effect"...I can't hold a coin with kolin evans' evil energy nor the burden of his psychological baggage on it because the weight of his actions, as the public face of quark, have a major impact on the morale and environment and thus the statistical probability of quark's success or failure.

The way he belittles and insults core holders is demonic and makes me cringe. I think about all the future potential quark buyers googling to find kolin here ready and waiting to call any of them who dares to think differently or ask questions, a "troll". It won't be long before you understand this. It is a well established pattern.

Quark is 100% community driven. The community members are the fundamentals of quark. kolin evans shits on all their faces and eventually he will shit on yours, gladly.

So when you tell me I don't support quark, well I laugh and then I abruptly give you the back of my hand sir and ask you what exactly you know about me or the list of things I have done and donated to quark.  You don't know shit.

I am a quark supporter and always have been. I am just trying to remove this cancer tumor from the body so it can begin the healing process.

+1!!

The guy doesn't even have a single negative feedback and you want him banned [from the from the entire forum] cause his posts are unwelcome from your perspective?

Do you get this butthurt often?  Is your mangina always this sore?

This isn't Red China, Bitcointalk is not communist - this forum is American where people have something called freedom of speech so we apologize if you're offended and your feelers are hurt over some guy posting his differing opinion.

FYI:  There's a nice ignore button, obviously for advanced users with some form of critical thinking so when you reach that offer of smart - feel free to push that ignore button everytime you're feeling extra buttthurt by someone's Natural Rights.

Until then, try not to overdose and die on stupidity.

Peace!

"Mangina", omg. lol. Never heard that one before...

But why do people "bow" so frequently to someone who is so destructive, constantly lies, and attempts to scam his own community for profit? Because he made you some money, whats the big deal about that- if he does it by lying, pretending and scamming people to get it?

Kjo and team "salt trolls" don't believe in about freedom, they work directly for Debt money institutions, they believe that humans should not be free.

in a word they are the scum of the earth. little more than parasites, they want you to pay tax and work for them.

they don't believe in debt free money, and they don't believe that humans should have money that is not issued by a central authority into debt.

in essence they want you to be a slave.

but its all falling apart, they think by trolling here or there that they can make any difference.

they really are just as i stated unemployed former car park trolley pushers, that got fired from that job.

Gibberish! What is a "salt project" or salt troll, can you elaborate for us or provide a link of some sort so we can be enlightened?  Salt this, salt that...You keep mentioning it over and over.....and over...its become a fixation and no one understands wtf u are talking about (probably on purpose?).

What the person above stated...KJO...is very true...you have a destructive streak that is pathological. So many good ideas wasted because you cant get out of your own way, trashing the community that has been so supportive of Quark.  wtf. take some meds dude.

be sure to register on Quark forum to ask your questions and continue discussions, good thing is that with so little activity your posts won't be buried like on this thread and you earn Quarks too, simply by logging in daily or by posting quality stuff, as more likes you posts get the more quarks you'll earn.

You can use either http://quarktalk.org/ or http://www.quarktalk.cc/

P.S. also a good thing is that with so little activity I won't have to worry about spending much quarks  Tongue. But if anyone wants to help please do so, I will use the funds solely for the forum faucet. My QRK address is in the signature. Thanks!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Why Digital Industry is causing everyone to leave Quark. on: August 16, 2014, 11:21:23 PM
hm thought it was quarkfx design since the reddit banner is his work

no i think Quarkfx is Peter from the original forum the guys that were trying to say they were "Quark developers"  - they had to try to take over the Crypto because it was a threat to all the other price manipulated crypto - so they panicked and started to say they were "trying to help" Quark from "low hash"

they are rehashing that now and its still not working  ....

its kind of sad a pathetic really?

if Quark fx isn't "Peter" i apologize of course as it would be an insult to  call you a "retard."

THIS!!...
Is why people find your comments so disheartening (aka disgusting) Kolin- and ultimately wind up leaving altogether.

You know exactly who QuarkFX is...But you also know that most of the public (especially the new members) do not know what/who you know, which is why you make such comments...(but of course, this is your m.o.- manipulation of the public's perception.)

So, what am I talking about?
Quark FX (Peter), the one you pretend not to know... was the one you attempted to secretly pull into your B9 merge mine coin launch- to design the logo, remember? The coin you have now "reincarnated" as Mimic when the B9 was exposed for the deceptive and self serving project that it was?

"Mining monopoly"- your favorite term... you are sooo against this concept ( except when you propose it for yourself of course), - meanwhile (pre)mining away Mimic as we speak until rebranding it as Quark Omega...How many coins have you mined now, and what is the hashrate of this seemingly worthless coin (can someone check this)? And how many people are you offering these coins behind the scenes, anyone?

You lied about this project to not only the core members but the entire Quark community, stating that you were "looking for" a merge mine candidate (call to Quark clones post on Reddit and Bitcointalk), then "discovered it" as a "fairly launched" Quark algo. All the while you were/are the OP, "mimi" ... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=657528.msg8131261#msg8131261

Quark FX, myself, and *almost* all other members of the Core (core meaning most active) community- were not supportive of your (still ongoing) plan, because of the deceptive nature of it (social manipulation or whatever)...

Therefore, your reaction: More manipulative and deceptive comments like the above, to downgrade the importance of all the core Quark community members...calling them trolls, useless, retards, etc, etc..Until they leave, or stop contributing...Creating a clear path for your ongoing plans behind the scenes, perhaps?

But again, to clarify for everyone-
QuarkFX: Most active, helpful, and productive Quarker until less than 1 month ago...contributing countless hours of his work for free, in support of Quark, and for the spirit of community effort.

Designer of:
- the "Quarkcoin Theory" video,
- the "What does the Quark Say?" Video(such a beautiful, upbeat and helpful Quark Promo!!- **was pending release, now pulled)
- the Iceland project video,
- contributor of hours of the ZhangZhang video project at the Bitcoin Convention in China,
the Mobile wallet promo video....
- the Reddit header,
- design contributor to the mobile wallet splash screen,
- design contributor to quarktalk.org
- recently spending countless hours designing a Quark Video game, almost ready to go into BETA TESTING!!

Kolin, you claim to be a leading Quark member/educator, and yet you don't know who the main core members are- really?

...Most of the above projects, by the way, pulled now because of your most uninspiring and counterproductive contributions, Kolin.. and your most manipulative and deceptive ways, and the way you set out to destroy anyone who comes forward in opposition to you. Last but not least, the fact that Max deals with you at all...

Thus the "Proof of Burn" concept coming forth for your "reappearance" and attempt to re-gain control of the Quark community as some sort of educator/leader.

Go ahead, keep downgrading "core" contributors, and see where it leads...

First of all it leads to a downtrust rating(somewhat, but not completely worthless)- This, for my own first hand knowledge of your plans to deceive the Quark community (B9, Mimic, "quark synergy" IPO scam, etc.) because, as you say.."the community needs their hands held"?

Why did Max ever link up with you, one of the most manipulative, conflicted, and self destructive people (trolls) I have ever seen? This is not free market stuff Kolin, this is out and out manipulation-- I wish you would stop!

Secondly it leads to the recommendation that everyone should go to www.quarktalk.org for moving forward with productive conversations/contributions to Quark infrastructure and community building.

I just saw a dead link.

It concernes the android wallet that is mentioned in the first post of this thread:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hashengineering.quarkcoin.wallet

if you follow this link, it will lead to the google play and there in the infos it will show a github link that is dead:
https://github.com/HashEngineering/Quark-wallet

Can someone fix that?

Am not gonna install a wallet without inspecting code first. Thanks.

Edit: Link submitted for fix Smiley
Thanks to Hash Engineering for the speedy reply as always! Grin

Thanks maok.

I have another question regarding mining.
So at the moment I am setting up a few raspberry pi with USB antminers... to support all the sha-256 coins I own.

Very cheap, very efficient.

So, I was thinking... what's the most basic cheap and efficient method to mine quark these days?
And I am not talking about profitability. I don't care if I don't mine much quark.
I just want to help quark hashrate with as little energy and setup costs as possible.

I am just looking for the minimum price to recieve maximum efficiency, much like the raspberry ANTminer setup (which cost me about 50 $ total to setup)

I am talking about helping the networks hashrate (and therefor securing my qrk holdings).
If everybody who owns QRK would also mine QRK a tiny little, then we would have a much better hashrate.

lol, it would be great to see Quark hashing on a Raspberry Pi. They use less than 5W power, so it might be viable, I haven't done the math.

I dont mine..and this really does not answer your question but this might possibly be helpful/interesting to some?
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/gridseed/

Also someone on Reddit (Jean2501) is mining Quark efficiently on hashcows with a Rasp pi and a gridseed, however this is not helping quarks hashrate directly.

From what  I have heard, rasp pi and GPU mining are not that efficient- but maybe someone can give a better answer on this..It would definitely be good to know how to efficiently mine Quark! I only have a Mac laptop otherwise I would be mining away..

Hi everyone,

If people could assist in moving projects from the Quark Planet Trello Projects board here: https://trello.com/b/1hBBvhoE

to the Quarktalk.org board, this would be greatly appreciated! Grin

Thanks for the great new forum Maok!!
I agree that this looks to be the best of the forums so far;D

I looked at some code of x11, x13, x15 coins, and I can say this code is often based on bitcoin 0.6.x or similar. It is very hard for me to compile on Windows.

Latest official version of Quark is based on bitcoin 0.8.3.x and can be compiled very easy compiled on Windows. Same for Litecoin 0.8.x.

Newest next version of Quark will be based on bitcoin v0.9.x.x and already now you can compile for Windows at the easiest way.

I am very close to conclude that many x11, x13, x15 coins are improved with many fancy things, but they are based on very old bitcoin code v0.6.x no matter how they artificially risen version number. It means it will be very hard to maintain it or developed it on the right way.

I am fresh in researching this.

Can someone confirm me if I am right?   For Windows only.

Thanks for recognising this.

The Bitcoin 0.9.x code base is much cleaner and easier to work with as a developer than for example 0.6.x.

A lot of changes has gone into "the insides" for Bitcoin 0.9.x and this is not always apparent to end users.

This is why my current priority is to upgrade the code base to Bitcoin 0.9.x. Few people seem to recognise that this is a big undertaking, especially with a coin like Quark that has many deviations from the Bitcoin code base.

The current code is here: http://github.com/MaxGuevara/quark092

It is close to being ready for merging into the main Quark code base.

Great, thank you for this work- Hopefully we can get more coders to assist with future updates Max.
