I don't think we will see ETH at 200 every again honestly, crypto is gaining steam in a serious way and ETH is the number 2 player.... I tend to think $1000 by End of year... IMO

If you really want to feel comfortable about your investment, I would suggest coins that are POS (Proof Of Stake), so that when you obtain a position, its always gaining more coins for you, like a low interest savings account..

You can really go either way with it and win in the end, but always keep a long position at your target price. Buy and sell on the dips but keep that long position handy for when the big jump happens...IMO

Friend of mine has still the "old" wallet and is on holiday right now. The fork will already be done, when he is back.
In his holidays no transfers from or to his wallet will happen.
Did I understand the upper description correctly?:
He can update his wallet after the fork, but he have to be sure not to move, transfer or mine any coins to/from this wallet on the old chain in the time between the fork and the point where he perform the wallet update?
What happens if he synch the wallet on the old chain. Can he still update to the new chain? (without any transfers in the meantime, as described above!)
Is the following procedure correct:
1. Backup wallet (without synch???)
2. Download and install new version
3. Import wallet?
4. Synch
The new wallet seems to bring all your old coins in with no problem. I would simply backup the old wallet and install the new one and you should be good. Mine came up with wallet.dat imported automatically. |

we are already seeing green upticks in prices across the crypto board....there's no reason to think the 2nd strongest crypto is going to do anything but bounce upward, IMO. Hold and stay strong or get out....Crypto takes faith, you have it or you don't...

Every ETH holder needs to be in HODL mode because the market is going to turn for the better in q4, just like last year, just like it always does IMO... Like I said if you don't have the stomach for volatility, crypto is not for you...

ETH is a strong hold because this is literally BTC Jr in the eyes of the public. The team behind the coin and the strides its made since crypto has become a household name is staggering and if you are holding ETH at the levels then hold. If you are worried about price right now, then crypto is not for you. ETH will be one of the last standing next to bitcoin when the dust settles and anyone holding ETH will reap the benefits IMO.. Its not dying, its fluctuating with a volatile market...

At the end of the day, Bitcoin is the pioneer in this space. I personally feel like you need to HODL as much BTC as possible because once we get closer to the total supply gone, prices will skyrocket. Prices are higher now then they were last year before the huge jumps. PRiVCY is a great alt-coin if your looking towards getting in early, but always HODL your BTC. Its going to places we've never seen. JMO - always do your own due diligence and only spend what you can afford to lose...

Nothing would make me happier than a huge bull run and shorts getting left at margin call to suffer. They really are a downer! We gotta break 7200 today! Where are we with ETF's, Ive been too busy to stay informed...

Only 200 orders though,.Now the price will dump a bit coz of nice hash
Isn't is more profitable to go with a pool and mine rvn's direct? rather than going nicehash? x16r on nicehash doesn't seem to pay much, no? its been bad for me, I just keep it off and If I want ravens, I hit a pool... |

Hard to tell where the bottom is for ETH and all cryptos. Hoping that $300 holds and provides a decent bounce at least.
I think we might be safe from hitting the solid 2 area because Bitcoin has been showing resistance and they move in unison. I think it was $257 last I checked and I think we are seeing the bottom now.. |

So currently according to what to mine 1.98 Th/s pointed towards Raven from nicehash
Thats crazy because x16r is so bad on nicehash... I don't know why anyone would be pointed on that algo from nicehash. Just find a pool with raven.. I find it easier just to buy my ravens and mine something more profitable right now like Lyra2rev through nicehash... not enough power to mine without a pool unfortunately.. |
