Very very interesting coin.
Can someone explain how GPU mining will be blocked out? If I am understanding this correctly, it will only be CPU mining?
Thank you in advance, and sorry if this has already been answered, just hit me up with a link on the info.

It's starting to look like this Staking thing is a crock of shit. For the last 3 days I have had my wallet open and running, and it always says "Expected time to earn reward is 1 day". We are almost hitting day 4?
I am thinking there's going to be a HUGE dump tomorrow morning when I sell all my coins. Enjoy

When will we be able to mine this coin? Looks promising.

Millions Dumping means Millions Buying ...
You have to see it always from both sides: whenever somebody is selling, somebody else is buying. This coin is long away from being dead.
Exactly!!!!

I have read the POS faq and my question is still unanswered.
Do I have to keep the wallet running on my computer all the time, or can I exit, and just check in on it every couple days? If you are going to attempt to answer this question, I do not need to know about locking or unlocking the wallet.
The reason I ask, is, I am not a big fan of having multiple wallets running in the background for no reason.
You will not get any Blackcoins with your wallet off. That I can plainly tell you. If your coins are stored offline either in a paper wallet or in a file, but you have the wallet program running, you might still get transaction fees. If the wallet is empty though I believe you would never get any fees though I might be wrong. If your wallet is online and unlocked (or just unencrypted, which is unsafe) and you have coins in it, then you will get %1 per year. The %1 is an incentive to support the network since there is no mining any more to support the network, only wallets. Thank you for you reply! So does anyone else see the downfall in this? I am going to leave my wallet open and unsecure, all so I can earn %1 yearly interest? Sounds like the thieves will win in the end?

Do I have to have my wallet up and running in order to receive POS? Can someone explain this please?
Excellent question, I was just about to ask the same thing Open, and unlocked for minting. Instructions posted a hundred times on this thread. Does that mean it has to be running on my computer all the time? Or can I open it up it up every couple of days, sync up and then close it again?

Getting your Wallet to sync with Windows: Step 1: Deleting all the old files from the first Wallet Click your Start menu on your computer (bottom left corner) In the Search box, type %appdata% Select Roaming Scroll down to Zeitcoin folder, open it. Delete every file, EXCEPT Wallet.datIf you couldn't find Roaming you can type this instead: C:\Users\Your Username for your computer\AppData\Roaming (change "Your Username" for whatever your username is for your computer) Scroll down to Zeitcoin folder, open it. Delete every file, EXCEPT Wallet.datStep 2: Download wallet from first page. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=487814.0 (very bottom of the first post) (also note they didn't make the whole link clickable, so Copy and paste into your browser) or click here (it's the same as the front page, just clickable) https://mega.co.nz/#!h0RU0JqA!reW_D2iZJdOXGc9cXJ7y1vT6XZP_li6qStep 3: Go to where you downloaded the NEW wallet and click Zeitcoin-qt.exe, this will start your wallet. Step 4: If it doesn't start to sync after 5-10 min Exit wallet and restart (I usually have to restart it twice to get it to sync) Step 5: As soon as it sync's, back up your wallet Goto File (top left corner of wallet) Select Backup Wallet Save that file somewhere safe I have help lots of people before with other alt coin wallets, and it's funny, how little I receive back. If this helped please tip: Zeitcoin: MdzQcGPFEyqHNbnwjUba5phJJBwcSBH6kJ Did you try this? My Wallet sync's no problem

Than just use p2pool - p2pool can't be down and it's always paying - p2pool is DDOS resistant as it's distributed through nodes:)
Just choose the best node, with the lowest ping to your location ! We're currently at 900MHs total hashpower ! Remember that p2pool is best suited for bigger miners (bigger than one or two radeons). Don't get pushed away if you won't get your payout with the first block - p2pool needs to get momentum Mined on Liberty for almost 2 hours at 300+ kh/s and NOTHING! Waste of time I guess.

Same unbearable shit as usual, half the pools down, going down, on-off and the other half is empty, like mining solo.

I don't know how to set up solo mining, if that is what this is?
