Hello I have the same problem now. Fan out shows "0" and the miner does not mine. But the fan is turning... I have deactivated the "Auto Stop Miner" -> Still not mining Made new firmware stick - > Still not mining Someone has an idea? hi, my Z1 stopped mining suddenly as I've discovered the dashboard reports outtake fan speed to "0"
of course the fan is connected and running, but most likely the logic board don't recognise anymore the RPM sensor. Some component possibly has gone...
any idea how to set by software to avoid FAN speed check?
any other idea? thanks! /E
what is error message may not reboot or else. did you check pool and wallet addresses are they yours? no messages at all, the pool is correct and marked as "active" for a little while but OUT as fan speed is "0", the red firmware error LED get on and the miner starts to reboot in an endless loop... I've checked the main boards component but I didn't find anything burned out... I'm pretty sure it's possible to solve the issue by disabling fan speed check on firmare by a setting or recompiling it, but no source code is available and nobody seems to know the real identity of DaYun manufacturer... Very annoying situation. Same here... I don't have any error message. Evrything started when the Fan Out showed 0 RPM. I even tried to trick the software... I activated again the "Auto Stop Miner" and set the out speed to 0 Then i exported the Miner. json file and set there the value from 0 to -1 Did not help... I also opend the miner and checked the boards and they are all fine. One thing is strange. Normally when you look from above on the boards you can see some leds blinking. But now i only get 2 boards blinking, one board does not blink but the led is on and 1 board does not blink at all...so maybe dead?

Hey I've tried different firmwares and the best i've found is version 20180930 Stable hashrate, no need to reset the miner and overclockings works also good. Had my miner for a couple weeks. Updated the firmware. The hashrate droops to zero every couple hours. Sometimes it fixes itself, sometimes I have to manually reset it. I have tried Nicehash and prohashing, same issue at both pools.
CAN ANYONE HELP?

Hey Daniel I'm sorry to tell you that the advertised profit you saw is long gone... If you wanna know why, you should start read from page 21. Page 21: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038441.400Received my miner on Monday. (Thank god!, ordered from dayunmining.com and was worried it was a scam as I didn't research before I bought) However I am not getting the advertised profit, asicminervalue stated that it would be getting $60USD per day, yet currently I am barely getting half of that. Can anyone help me? I have updated it to the latest firmware.

Maybe it's because we mine on diff. servers? I live in europe so i mine on the EU server. wonder why it is so different. In any event, that was my experience. I really like prohashing, and the profit seems to be comparable to what the nicehash calculator says I would earn, so I have been sticking to that. I also like the fact that I can get litecoin, or pretty much any other coin as a payout, and the interface is easy to use. However, I don't think I used Nicehash since changing to the overclocked and changed the autofrequency settings, so that could have been the problem previously. Nicehash is terrible for the Z1. I was getting between 1t and 20% rejected shares. Try prohashing, zpool, or MPH
Strange...i'm on NiceHash and i only get 1-3% rejected shares.

Please check the "ASIC Status" If you have to many chips on yellow or red, then you get a lot of rejectet shares. If this is the case, go to the settings page and click on "Save and restart miner". Wait 5 mins, then check again the "ASIC Status". Normally it gets better after a restart. If not, "Save and restart miner" again or choose the "Save and restart machine". And yes, profit is very low right now. You can check here: https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/dayun/zig-z1I Update to version to 20180930-overclocking Change frequency to "1000" & auto_frequent:"1" but result Not more change , Daily 22$ Profit , it's Normal ? and Rejected rates is very High, why ? I using Nicehash Pool , Which Pool more profit ? BTCI use 20180930 I't's good for overclocking and it's also stable. in original website i found 3 version . 1- 20180930-stable 2- 20180930-overclocking 3- 20181015-stable Which one is more profitable? I want to use your advice my version is20180926, Where i can find 20180930 or higher?
Change the value of auto_frequent from 0 to 1: "auto_frequent":"1"Change the value of frequency from 900 to 950 or 1000: "frequency":"900" or "frequency":"1000"Only do this changes after you upgraded your firmware to version 20180930 or higher. I need help in a bad way.
I cant find the IP address of the Miner. I looked at the troubleshooting on their website and some info on this thread. All I get is a flashing red light where the firmware LED is. (I have the Z1+)
You (your home network) are probably not in the same ip range as the miner. The miner has by default a 192.168.1.xxx ip address. If your home network is in the 10.x.x.x , 192.168.0.x or any other range, you won't be able to find the miner.

Hi Mordred80,
i could not see auto_frequent variable in /var/www/html/resources/cgminer.config (that is JSON shown in interface)
would you please show them on config file. i am using 2018/30/09 version.
thanks in advance.
Hey metnet Look, i've never tried to access the file the way you do it. So i can't tell you why you don't see the "auto_frequent" option. What i can tell you is, that "auto_frequent" is the first option you see when you open the miner.json file. This is how the file looks like when you export it from the miner setting page (miner.json): {"auto_frequent":"0","frequency":"900","check_nonce_submit":"1","auto_restart_miner":"1","restart_lower_limit_hashrate_5m":"4","restart_hw_count_30s":"74","auto_stop_miner":"1", "stop_lower_fanspeed_in":"2000","stop_lower_fanspeed_out":"2000","stop_high_temperature":"70","temperature_unit":"c","refresh_time":"60","system_timezone":"Europe\/Zurich", "system_hostname":"dayun","system_protocol":"static","system_ip":"192.168.1.222","system_netmask":"255.255.255.0","system_gateway":"192.168.1.1","system_dns_server":"192.168.1.1", "pools":[{"id":130,"url":"stratum+tcp:\/\/lyra2rev2.eu.nicehash.com:3347","username":"xxxxxxxxxx","password":"x"},{"id":131,"url":"stratum+tcp:\/\/lyra2rev2.usa.nicehash.com:3347","username":"xxxxxxxxxx","password":"x"}, {"id":132,"url":"stratum+tcp:\/\/lyra2rev2.jp.nicehash.com:3347","username":"xxxxxxxxxx","password":"x"}],"user":{"id":15,"username":"xxxxx","password":"xxxxxxxxxx"}

What happens if you do them before?
Not much...it just dosen't work. The miner accepts the new settings, like a higher frequency, it shows the higher frequency on the main page of the miner, but it still mines with the default frequency of 900 MHz.

How to change the JSON file, what are the recommended changes? thanks
You can export the config file (miner.json) from the settings page of your miner. In that file you can change the value of the frequency (MHz). To edit the file, i use a tool called "Visual Studio Code" You don't need this tool cuz you can edit the file with the Windows Editor. After you edited the file, you can upload it back to the miner over the Settings page -> miner reboots. Change the value of auto_frequent from 0 to 1: "auto_frequent":"1"Change the value of frequency from 900 to 950 or 1000: "frequency":"900" or "frequency":"1000"Only do this changes after you upgraded your firmware to version 20180930 or higher.

About HDAC you guys are talking about... They did a algo-swap from Lyra2Rev2 to Skunk Source: https://hdactech.com/en/News/news.do?mode=view&articleNo=6951Quote: The change will be applied from block number 151,880, and it will be applied on (GMT + 9) October 22, 2018.All the guys mining there did just come "here" to us. That's why the hashrate went up... Just asking myself how this coin had this hashpower...anyway. It is what it is....
