21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: February 03, 2018, 05:05:33 PM
I think 100 years from now there should be a lot of people who know bitcoin, when Bitcoin will exist as a global payment method.
Yeah the technology will become outdated af by then and newer cryptocurrency will replace BITCOIN there
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2018, 05:04:30 PM
I think women are more active in their household work than online work. They find it boring . only few women are intereseted in bitcoin . men's are more active in online work. Women have more work in household and in office . they prefer office work than online work. But now a days women's are also showing interest in bitcoin sites.

More active in "household work?" Seriously? Well if you're getting women pregnant typically they will usually end up raising the children thus keeping them at home. Again different countries and different standards.

If you're a woman without children and without someone poking you with small fleshy objects you'll be able to focus on other things.
Generally across the world it’s largely the men who’re forced to earn for the family and women forced to raise children
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: February 03, 2018, 05:03:44 PM
I think so, if the media keeps spreading bad news about bitcoin.
That would lead to a drop in the price of bitcoins.
The mainstream media FUDs BITCOIN and cryptocurrency every single day. It’s mainly FB, Twitter, etc which is still better
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 04:27:27 AM
My plan is to use it as a currency, and invest, just spend a few coins here and there and that's it.
So essentially do what crypto is meant for? I mean a currency is mainly used to invest or to spend it well…like a currency?
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 04:26:19 AM
I highly doubt it. I'd say the recent sharp downturn of BTC value has a lot to do with South Korea (which accounts for 20% of the world's BTC trading) tightening its grip on anonymous cryptocurrency trading. Among other reasons too, I'm sure, as it's normal for market corrections to happen due varying factors. BTC value has been trending upwards since the first major price rally in 2013 and I'd like to think it won't be slowing down anytime soon.
Heck South Korea reduced the complete BTC blackout ban too and is just planning to tax crypto and make it more legal than ever
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SOUTH KOREA NOT BANNING CRYPTO NOW - but want 24.2 percent tax? on: January 25, 2018, 04:25:15 AM
This move will kinda kill all the arbitrage opportunities though where people outside korea would buy from other exchanges and sell in korea
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: January 25, 2018, 04:24:22 AM
Its really hard to differentiate what is scam and what is not, some of them are good, too good to be true, some have a nice website but still end up to be a scam at the end, almost all are just redundancy project.
Not at all, a boatload of obvious scams are scams which baited 1000s of people. Like BCC was glaringly obvious but people shilled and still do
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which documentary is the best Bitcoin Documentary? on: January 25, 2018, 04:21:21 AM
"Banking on Bitcoin" is good to watch. I don't know if it's available on youtube but you can watch it on Netflix, it's where I watched it. You can get free 1 month on Netflix, use it if you don't find it on youtube

Quote
Banking on Bitcoin (2016)
Bitcoin is the most disruptive invention since the Internet, and now an ideological battle is underway between fringe utopists and mainstream capitalism. The film shows the players who are defining how this technology will shape our lives

some others are:

Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=H3iTVY3QxFo
Interestingly enough the website hosting the documentary on crypto itself doesn’t accept any crypto #Irony
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin have risen a little slowly? on: January 25, 2018, 04:17:15 AM
It might have helped a little bit. One of the major problems of Bitcoin as a currency is its volatility. Huge spikes mean huge corrections. If its growth had been smoothed out, it should follow that there will be fewer and less extreme corrections. Explosive price rallies also tend to worry people because they've been conditioned to think that if something is too good to be true, it probably is.

Still, at some point, a slow and steady rise is also going to be getting bubble comparisons. Bitcoin would still be speculative, and it still wouldn't be backed by anything. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think it would have made much of a difference -- just that everything we've experienced thus far would be stretched across a longer period of time.
Yeah the people who didn’t invest due to volatility also see the massive instant surge as a bad sign and a bubble
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with bitcoin for the safest on: January 25, 2018, 04:13:15 AM
How can you profit in BTC if you don’t even invest any money in the first place. That is dumb af and not even worth the effort
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin core wallet safe? on: January 25, 2018, 04:08:25 AM
Did you download from bitcoin.org?
If he downloads the BTC wallet from bitcoin.org or the torrent file on the top of this forum then he should be pretty safe
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 06:37:37 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

Why do you use money??Actually you can say bitcoin is online money. You can use it for online payment, Investment etc.You can make good money form bitcoin.
1)   Is wrong, the leanring curve is pretty steep
2)   BITCOIN is currently the slowest among cryptocurrency
3)   Exchanges need more docs that even banks
4)   BITCOIN can drop in price
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 06:34:32 AM
Simply because we can earn money from here and we what it keeps us alive nowadays is money. We want to be financially stable. It is not going to inflate because of max capped of bitcoin itself. You can transact wheneve you are unlike banks, bitcoin created a new way of payment method which is a lot easier.
“Because bitcoin is important to people have no work” but how is that remotely remotely remotely related to the context? People still wont have work if no one is paying?
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 06:32:50 AM
it makes sense for many people to fight bitcoin because of lack of knowledge about digital currency system and so far don't get the government's serious support for bitcoin development, but I believe bitcoin will become more popular and dominate every transaction using this digital currency. Because we know great benefits of bitcoin in addition to convenience of transactions also provide a great advantage if we can take advantage of every opportunity that is on bitcoin
That's right, because of the lack of knowledge or let us say they hadn't enough knowledge about bitcoin which they can easily to decide of their self that bitcoin is not legitimate. Perhaps the reason why people are against it is because they haven't tried invest and earn by using bitcoin or else they have a miserable experience of being scammed before that seems like they compare it now to bitcoin technology.
Yeah many do feel  BITCOIN is a fraud and a type of ponzi and people should get out of BITCOIN as soon as it is possible now that you have earnt a decent share of the pie
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !! on: January 17, 2018, 06:27:11 AM
Definitely right it was rising again and its good to hear that we are going back to reality increasing of price again they are investing and hold their bitcoin for resulting a profit again. After 2017 ws ended due to holidays they spend their money so thats why the price was decreasing lately. And I am happy thats going to increase again.

bitcoin is back after going through a correction period and getting ready for hardfork, I think it's good because bitcoin will continue to skyrocket in Q1, I rarely think of negative rumors because bitcoin is able to keep passing it in a more elegant way, the current price movement is very significant.
Actual rise %%% was pretty low though, like, 10-15% so unless you had a humungous amount you didn’t make much, so like only if you had say 10 BITCOIN or so then you got a ton
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: January 17, 2018, 06:16:19 AM
Of course it is a currency because day by day it is accepted in the market. I belive maybe ten years later from now we will use these kinds of coins in every parts of our daily lives. Maybe it will happen earlier...
It’s already happening even major corporates are throwing more and more money into cryptocurrencylike every day you hear more and more big bois investing
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do to get bitcoins? on: January 17, 2018, 06:08:41 AM
You can join signature campaigns after upgrading your rank. Or blog campaigns if you are interested in that sort of thing.
You missed a lot of categories:
Freelancing
Selling items
Selling services
Lending
Investing into a site’s bankroll
And so on
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: January 17, 2018, 06:05:34 AM
yes I think bitcoin can be called a currency or gold

because everyone playing a bitcoin just chases money to earn a living on their own or family. Because bitcoin is a convertible currency to philippines or philippines to bitcoin. maybe bitcoin can also be called a money or gold because Another site paid bitcoin not money
That’s exactly what the “goal” of BITCOIN is this, the entire point of cryptocurrency is to become currency not just investment objects
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: January 17, 2018, 06:03:57 AM
Bitcoin is not dead, and will never be. Its becoming more popular now, and more are becoming interested about it. It think it will continue to grow, number of investors will increase as well as the transactions.

The current price is affected by new year and holliday. Everyones have sell their Btc to vacation
Exactly I’ve seen and known people who sold 10000$s of cryptocurrency cause they wanted to actually enjoy from their cryptocurrency profits of the year
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone think about environmental issues of bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 05:57:20 AM
PoS is a good alternative In my opinion Since you just need to own the cryptocurrency for a bit and you get interest in the form of more coins of that particular coin
