21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on the road? on: May 23, 2014, 03:25:35 AM
Edit: I'll make the blog and start posting some pictures of my work tonight or tomorrow.

Recently I had a project idea in mind and I was wondering if the community would be willing to crowdfund the idea?

Basically I have an RV I'm fixing up right now and I'd like to hit the road fulltime and get new businesses to start accepting bitcoin.

That's the basics. I'd keep a blog and expense report publicly archived.

Thoughts?

Could go one of two ways. I crowdfund the price of current fixes to the RV and hit the road on my own dime but charge a small fee to start businesses up and pay my expenses. Or I crowdfund a larger amount and I make a preset "tour" route. Where I can talk to people and meetup along the way those that donate/want me to speak on what issues I faced getting businesses to accept BTC.

You don't think these businesses will just view you as a crazy guy in an RV talking about "weird crazy technology they don't need"
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Core - Wallet question on: May 23, 2014, 03:14:34 AM
This may be a really noob questions, but why does the Bitcoin core 0.9.1 wallet take a lot longer to load in comparison to alt coin wallets? Litecoin also generally seems to take quite a bit to load, but most prominently the Bitcoin one.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Under 18 Bitcoin Trading on: May 23, 2014, 03:01:54 AM
It is not exactly the best or safest way, probably not the best cost wise either, but I am pretty sure you can buy them from someone else if you make or have a paypal account. Just dont let them know you're buying cryptos.

You have to be 18 to have a Paypal account.

What about just using paypal as the processor? For example, buying something on eBay, and on checkout, just use the pay with debit/credit card option instead of use paypal account option?

Why would you break a working phone if you didn't have another working phone?

The mysteries of the human mind.

I would probably be very boring and invest in things like real estate, possibly stock, etc.

Hi guys, so i want to take a girl out on a date but i don't know what to do. So can you guys tell me past experiences or any plans you've got to take a girl out on a fun date. I've known her for quite a while now and we're good friends (she's my cousin's best friend). She was recently in a relationship and I want to take her out on a date.Thank you!!!

Awesome restaurants, *caution* can be pricey:

Cheesecake Factory - Fancier place that has a big assortment of dishes.
The Melting Pot - Awesome fondue style restaurant, look it up for all the info you need.

Winter is over, but if its still available to you, Ice skating is always good. A lot of hand holding if shes never done it, can be a very close intimate experience.
Picnic at the beach if theres one near you.
Picnic in the park.
My girlfriend and I just did this the other day. Went to walmart, bought a $5 batmitton racket set, volleyball, and a game with 2 velcrow circles you put on your hand and catch a ball on them. A ton of fun.

I generally don't kill spiders if I find them in the house, then again, around where I live there really isn't any spiders that can do any damage.  We do get the odd black widow, but I've never seen one in the house.

I used to get wolf spiders where I used to live, at least I think that's what they were.  They used to creep me out, they get pretty big and you could hear them run across the floor.

Just leave them be for the most part.  If they infest you're house though, it's a whole new ball game and I'd be calling an exterminator asap.

You're Canadian, of course you don't kill spiders.

Step 1: See Spider
Step 2: Light entire house on fire.
Step 3: Restart life over.

I guess they're still bitter about Mark Zuckerberg stealing the idea for Facebook from them  Cheesy

Why be bitter? They won a lawsuit worth 65 million...This Bitcoin Venture may be just what they need to carve their own path...Sometimes we have to stay in our own lane...let Mark Zuckerberg do what he do! Cool

I mean I also feel, why be bitter, but they probably are because it is now worth billions.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much is 1 bit? on: May 23, 2014, 02:20:20 AM
If you know what satoshi's are, it is 1 satoshi. Or 1/1000000 of a Bitcoin
Nope. 1 bit = 100 satoshi

Oh damn, I guess I got the wrong memo, or read it wrong. Thanks for letting me know

Probably one of those mint collectible coins with Bitcoin on it.

I don't understand why people are so paranoid like that. But yes, you can set up 2 factor and not have your phone attached.

There are few people with "decent amount of coins" compared to general population, so everyone with decent amount of coins CAN get rich.

While I would love for this to happen, the likely-hood that 1 bitcoin would reach something like $10,000 seems way too high. I know you can buy them in bits, but who would buy 1 bitcoin for $10,000?

thats like saying who would pay $600 to one just one share of apple?

Thats a pretty good example, but yes and no? Doesn't apple pay you dividends? Bitcoin doesn't pay dividends just for holding them, you can make a little if the price goes up, or lose a little if the price goes down. Same with the stock, you can lose a little if the price goes down or gain if it goes up, but in the middle you are earnings small amounts from dividends. Im really just curious I don't have vast knowledge of stocks.

Watch "Happy Gilmore"  cracks me up Everytime!
These are my options:

1. Watch some Jim Carrey movie in my LED TV.

These guys know what they are talking about.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss twins: Bitcoin will be bigger than Facebook #bitcoin #facebook on: May 20, 2014, 05:15:51 PM
The reason it wont get that high is because everyone with a decent amount of coins would be rich. It could happen though if the value of the dollar heavily decreases, but then everything will become more expensive to compensate anyway.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Total number of bitcoins will DECREASE on: May 20, 2014, 05:07:48 PM
Of course it will happen where people will lose some coins, but damn if you care enough about them you should be smart enough to back it up.

The longest netflix binge ever, choose a show and just constantly watch back to back episodes.
