That price drop was inevitably coming.

There´s like 4000 satoshi to one US cent so doing those faucets seems like a ridiculous waste of time - unless you´re dirt poor and live somewhere in the world where a quarter maybe buys you some food.
use those satoshi to buy and trade coins... use a program like Quatloo trader to make your life easier Also you can win the jackpot and make 700'000 satoshi on top of that Every little helps... mining Curecoin/Foldingcoin with your CPU, get a few coins and help the world But no Scamming people is better Satoshi must be proud of people doing that Bitcoiners are worst than Swiss Bankers Sad sad world Still, the time wasted on scraping for those cents isn´t worth it. And for most people being on a computer and the internet isn´t free either. Better to have a job or beg in the street and use the proceeds to buy BTC and use that to trade or gamble or whatever. those cents could be worth 100 of dollars one day I use to do faucets when bitcoin was at 6usd... And do faucets for alcoins too everyone as a few minutes a day

That is the coins to be issued , previous link was on coinmarketcap is for coins in circulation. Note that number is from PoW and does not include coins minted from PoS. How many are in the dev's wallet that are set to be distributed for folding, then? Only two million? Not sure on the number as I don't have direct access to the pool, but most of the coins are probably in cold storage. I'm confused on how the transparency really works, then. So there are 27+ million curecoins in "circulation", meaning that the only curecoin that aren't included in this number are ones that haven't been mined, correct? And so within that 27 million there is a number of coins sitting in cold storage waiting to be distributed to folders, correct? What is that number? To me they're not necessarily in "circulation" if they are in cold storage and yet to be distributed. And if we can't clearly see the number of coins waiting to be distributed to folders, how can anybody match that up with the stats to confirm there's no shenanigans? We also have no idea how POS work... More transparency is needed on all those issues https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cure/#!rich shows the richlist, those top 6 addresses hold all the premine curecoins waiting to be distributed to folders. For posterity's sake, these addresses are: BRVMsiNb6gXq4XsTZ7LvMsktsctBFv51nd (Active 'payout' wallet, holding around 8,629,180 CURE right now. Note that this address isn't online often, it is used to refill the true 'hot' wallet when necessary). B94cxTxuecy1jP5hfEV3EZTaxGAMnoMU8E (Coldstorage, holding 2,322,629 CURE. Hasn't been touched since block 4141) B6UzKzMnNk8DbAq7hpH8ZqScxdTGkUYYo6 (Coldstorage, holding 2,322,628 CURE. Hasn't been touched since block 4147) BTLLZVK7C9C8YTSnLqqtm8F5X3YphM79Ef (Coldstorage, holding 2,322,628 CURE. Hasn't been touched since block 4157) BKf3prKE3UWtttQp5Lb945yW2XJb23nt8u (Coldstorage, holding 2,322,628 CURE. Hasn't been touched since block 4159) B4dbDb5Qt7DifAd26LqJZi756fNB9YS2JB (Coldstorage, holding 2,322,628 CURE. Hasn't been touched since block 4179) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BY-ezmmVbooFwa3dzJZowpYmxEu9HgO2o5FeR7Evc-U/edit#gid=0 Gives the detailed math for the premine breakdown. You can check out https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cure/address.dws?BRTsnn5J8E61ep8mZM4YGuSLmV5wGeZU6N.htm and follow the premine from its source (that's the original premine address). Right now, the 'cold storage' number is those addresses added together, plus a few hundred thousand sitting around waiting to be paid out for folding rewards. Some of the coins on the payout pool might have staked, I don't keep up with that. Policy is (I believe) any staked coins from user balances left on the server are rolled into payouts, so it'll push back the folding halving date, or make the folding payouts stretch longer. At any rate, the folding pool payout model should (assuming cc2.0 works as planned) disappear sometime in 2015 and be replaced by a distributed method of coin generation. At that point, the remaining premine won't be transferred to the new chain. Good links. Maybe it would be an idea to add all those infos on the front page of bitcointalk and on curecoin website What will happen with the unclaimed coins once curecoin 2.0 is launched? For how long will people be able to exchange their cc1 for cc2? Much appreciate all those links I didn't know about chainz.cryptoid.info So if I understand correctly there is around 3.6mm coins in circulation with a market cap of around 29k usd this coin could easily go to 1usd maybe even 10/20 usd if we start matching LTC which I think could be possible... I really believe in this coin but we need more media exposure and mostly merchants accepting it. Moving from centralized to decentralized will be a big boost for credibility but I don't think it will be enough to get us to 1usd.

Dev mentioned an update for CURE around end of January but I haven't seen any news. There's a lot of news from similar coins however.
Suggestion: Quick update to users and community is needed. It's fine if you need to push back deadlines but there needs to be more communication even if just checking in here and there. No time for such affairs? Work with another CURE user and allow them to help and relay information to the community.
Ah yeah, been pretty busy, should have a cool announcement this afternoon if stuff goes right. People can check out the Merkle-signature section of the whitepaper we've been working on here: http://1.curecoinmirror.com/Curecoin%20Signatures%20Compressed.pdfIf people want to browse through the 2.0 code we're working on, you can browse the directory http://1.curecoinmirror.com/code/Right now, we have the code for Merkle signatures and address generation up, along with test classes. There is a package with a BlueJ file for quick, portable testing if anyone wants to play with it. This code is still subject to change, don't waste time VanityGen-ing addresses with the above code. In the next 4-5 weeks we'd like to have a preliminary public pre-alpha with: -Merkle Addresses -Simplified Blockchain -Certificate System The simplified blockchain will behave similar to that in Cryptonite (XCN). +1000000 Also MadBitcoins Interviews Max From CureCoin at Bitcoin Miami 2015 by World Crypto Network https://soundcloud.com/worldcryptonet/madbitcoins-interviews-max

There are at least someone who will explain to Russian for a little bot See what I did there?: USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE (использовать Google Translate) I am not Russian but of course translations are handy, the text in the trader can't be copy and pasted. A Russian and Chinese translation would definitely help bringing more attention to QTL and QTL trader. Markus could/should organized this

That will be within 2 weeks.
Any Update or new time line on when we can expect new exchanges for QTL Trader? Thanks

Can we claim our stake now?

Any updates dev. ?
Would be a great idea to make it work with Trezor (the Bitcoin safe)
Thanks

So If I get this correctly list of shareholders are now only at crypto-trade right? because some one on other thread just pointed out that they are shutting down. So you probably should do some backups of list ASAP
True fact From their (expired cert) site: Important Announcement!
Due to very low volume and lack of good userbase, Crypto-Trade has decided to shutdown permanently due to inability to cover its expenditures on rented servers , staff salary and site promotion. All the users are requested to withdraw their funds within 48 hours. The site will continue to process pending withdrawals till our private wallet is empty. The site will go offline on 29th January 6:00 UTC.
What should we do? Print Screen of Crypto Trade?

Hey guys, im using this nice bot right now but i have troubles with Cryptsy, i can't get the list of all markets. The bot just says if i try to go to a market via my balance that the market doesnt exist, also the list is blank. Bittrex & Polo are working fine. Any info about that ?
For some coins there is no BTC market on Cryptsy so you can obviously not access it... Ex: MOON only MOON/LTC and MOON/XPR. If you have a problem with the list of markets you have to check your API on Cryptsy The problem is that i have my balance info for Cryptsy but i cant access markets. Ex : for the Cryptsy points, i see my balance but if i click on "go to this market BTC or LT"C i just get a "There is no BTC/LTC market for points". This is happening for all my coins. Check your API on Cryptsy change it if necessary because it's working on my end which means it can only be a problem with your API you can also close and restart the application it help sometimes So i restarted the app as admin, used new different api keys. Im still getting in the log "error updating Cryptsy Markets' My account need to be verified on Cryptsy ? Bittrex & Poloniex are still working fine. don't know what to tell you it works fine on my end... did you check the API privileges?

Sad to see this coin dying
it traded today at 12 Satoshi on Poloniex....
The dev is not working on this project anymore. All eyes are on CXC, last updates of QTL Trader were cosmetic and large investors have noticed.
The last update was on Dec. 31. That's 11 days ago. There is no reason to suggest that the dev is no longer working on QTL trader. He may be busy with CXC, but that doesn't mean he's abandoned QTL. It is sad indeed to see that someone sold QTL at 12 satoshi though. it went on a down trend since the last real update on Arb. it was trading around 0.00014 at that time now it barely trade at 0.00002 I think price speak for itself But yes dev. do small update which is better than nothing for sure
