i really do hope that you are wrong about a " bigger customer " buying up all the miner hardware without a little fish like me not even getting 1 unit. Nothing like big fish getting the new hardware as difficulty goes up and the little fish like me get stuck with old hardware.

We do not separate customers to "small-pocket" and "big-pocket". When new device will be outputted it will be opened for sale to all community.

Why should I buy a pile of scrap metal, only because it is the cheapest on the market?

Which one is easier to dispose of the year?
And btcgarden-AM-v1 left me over   proper ATX power supply unit. Not self-made, with Only one year warranty.
My ATX  power supply has a 7 year manufacturer's warranty.

I know how ATX PSU works in 24/7 mode.
If its normally for you, just buy ATX based miner.

We know how much stable our devices works and what is REAL hashrate, don't wanna to force anyone to buy.
Just buy what you want Wink

I met XBETC several times in person and they are very nice persons.

30  Bitcoin / Hardware / Solutions and troubleshootings for for large scale mining farms on: August 12, 2014, 01:08:58 PM
Hey everyone,
During setting up our mining farm we were faced with lots technicals problems.
Here we wanna share some experience to prevent others from this problems.

1. Electricity source
You are lucky if your farm already connected to electricity source, if no ensure, that distance between
switchboard and your junction box is not very long.
By this way you can prevent electricity leak and cut expenses for wires.
For instance, we were bought quite safe and thick wire with price ~82$ per meter (505rmb).

Of course it should be 380 Volt

2. Junction electricity box and wires
Wires from junction box to miners
When we established it we were bought fake wires with not enough thick of cross section. We detected it, when checked temperature of wires. God bless, we have thermographic camera. So, wires temperature were ~75C degrees and we've got understanding something went wrong.
To prevent inflammation, we were forced to replace wires immediately. After replacing cables average hashrate jumped more than 5%.

3. Cooling and ventilation
We decided to use air cooling system this time.
When you establish big mining farm you have to think about miners displacement.
From one side you have to have incoming cold air flow from outside.
From other side fans should to convey hot air outside.
We decided to install huge cooling fans into the window:

Tips
a) ensure how is blowing air flows.
b) ensure, that between sections have no large splits.
c) remove micro disperse dust from equipment. Try to keep the room more or less cleaned.

4. Miners displacement
As I wrote before, you have to think about miners displacement.
We decided to mount its to server racks. Not sure, it was a best idea, but its easy to manage.

5. Internet connection
For each 9 miners we connected TP-LINK with 16 ports.
To connect all racks together we used CISCO with 48 ports.

Tips
a)Install the fastest internet connection as you able.
a)Use good quality connectors.

31  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec bitcoin miner Pacific V2 on: August 10, 2014, 06:50:13 AM
Do you still use two mode of fan?
From dogie review the 5000rpm is less likely to be use by normal user.

we use 2500rpm.
5000prm mode just for preventing troubles with cooling in extremely hot areas or OL mode.
32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive XBTec Pacific 1250 Setup [HD] on: August 09, 2014, 07:43:05 PM
Well, it is good to see a unit which is properly optimised for free air cooling, even in the toughest environments.

They have a very solid cooling design, I find that most professionally built units from China are built with demanding climates in mind, as their hot and humid summers put a lot of pressure on miners.

Basically, the unit should still run fine on max fans even if your datacenter ventilation completely fails, which is a nice feature.
Dynamic fan adjustment would obviously have been better, but this option should also do the trick nicely.

We have a huge fans in our farm to prevent overheating.

Well, has it arrived to Dogie? We are waiting for reviews, because of bad opinion about your company...

We decided to give special price for Pacific 1250 to Rabinovitch.
It could be useful not only as a miner, but also as a heater, when strong Siberian winter comes Wink
34  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec bitcoin miner Pacific V2 on: August 09, 2014, 05:55:18 PM
As we wrote above, Pacific V2 hasn't something extremely newest.
We just improve PCBs design to cut power consumption as well.

Aluminum case made mostly for cheaper shipping cost.
35  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec bitcoin miner Pacific V2 on: August 09, 2014, 05:52:58 PM
Looking like we may have a new player as long as the reliability is there.  When can we see more info on Pacific 2000 and more details and pricing?  Your website says it's available, is this only from your Russian affiliates?

I gonna say to our webmaster to change it pic.

Xbtec, any updates as for the immersion cooled systems?

designing in progress. when we have to show the container we will post about it

I'd like to recommend this ancient Chinese formulated lubrication to all pre-order customers, it's the perfect companion to the Shenzhen Miner Fuck Machine V2.

Dear notbatman, we will give you a free bottle of lubricant if you come to Shenzhen personally to buy our Miner Fuck Machine V2. You even can choose one that fits you better. We have enough items in stock.

Could you please provide some proof that this is the case?  It seems BA has told Bobsag that the list was stolen and you are saying otherwise.  I am not blaming you by any means at this point (and BA's track record would suggest that it was sold and they are again lying), please know that, but any information that you can provide would be helpful to figure this out.

It was a private deal and we do not want to compromise anyone. It is better to ask BA.
We protect and respect the privacy of our clients.
39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer. on: August 04, 2014, 06:08:46 PM
who gives a hoot where they got the list? It is not relevant for anyone except bobsag3, who is a BA distributor and therefore might care.

I'm a minersource customer and I've received no email so it must have been only BA's database. I think bobsag should be demanding BA explain how their customers information was leaked/sold/stolen.

Not stolen. Sold.

Let me explain the talks about Blackarrow software email database.

1. We have tried to work as the resellers of Black Arrow in Russia but rapidly understood that they won`t produce their hardware on time and stopped all the relations.
http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/reseller-status-of-xbtek-has-been-canceled.html

2. We have bought the email base from Black arrow. If you do not want to receive information from us, just click on the unsubscribe button in the bottom of the email and we will not disturb you.
