Im' having a rest here, i've been reading through the mazacoin threads were people are just bashing.arguing wether their coin is a scam or not, trying to manipulate the price and make instant benefit. Here at DGB, the price is low but stable, and we are just discussing on real stuff on how to improve the coin, and everyone seems pretty positive about the future...refreshing just a feeling

Does P2pool make everyone else's cards run hotter?
There should not be any difference between mining on a P2P pool vs regular pool when it comes to card temperature. Have you changed your card settings at all? Mmm,... well I was sitting comfortably at 76C mining mintcoin, came over to DGB and now it goes up to 83C. Also I'm not sure why I always get waiting for work from pool which ever pool I try. Seems I have a choice of mining P2Pool and getting too hot or not using a pool Interesting, you could just be getting work quicker. What kind of cards are you running? Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X I've worked out the pool problem so i'm back mining again.. stupid typing error that I couldn't see So waiting to see what temps they get to pool mining again. it is hot, because DGB is hot

One thing is sure: Throw an erroneous information about a subject that can create a buzz, you'll have to wait for weeks until news sites stop relaying wrong information. you make money with trading virtual money, they make money selling virtual news.

I would'nt take this for a counter argument either , when you see how fast today press is able to relay wrong information... Only official statements on official websites ,everything else is just guys trying to fill up their news feed relaying unverified news.

Guys, I copied the "screenshot" from @Mazacoin's twitter and then copied a real screenshot from the Google Play Store (The Bitcoin Wallet: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet) I pasted them both into Paint (simple, you can do it to). Put them side-by-side and do a zoom (will magnify both images equally). Tell me, why is there a ton of pixelation all over the Mazacoin while the Bitcoin Wallet screenshot looks crisper? Is there a photoshop job happening with @Mazacoin's Android wallet that is causing strange compression issues with the pixels? I seriously want to get your opinions because this looks very shady. I guess we'll know tomorrow but this looks like a setup. I'm happy to admit I'm wrong but the Android wallet pic looked extremely grainy to me. Look closely. Full size image is here since bitcointalk.org's display size is smaller than what I'm trying to show you: https://i.imgur.com/eTGu9xS.pngwhat you call pixelation is jpeg compression. take the bitcoin pic ans save it in jpeg, let's say quality 3 you'll get the same..

Do you bot guys realize that both of you tend to avoid the bit of credibility crypto currencies have. Kids playing virtual stock exchange with virtual money.

with all the posts you've made, there are pages of warning...
what is the problem , you wan't to to save the world ?
people are grown up, they do want they want, the way you systematically bash everything about this coin is totally counter productive. ( and proves you have nothing to do else than posting in this forum)
|
|
|
why don't you just ignore all this maza coin stuff and start doing something useful for your life ?
Either you've lost a lot of money and are very angry about this coin. Or you just wan't to drop the price down so you can buy and make profit.
In both case we've heard you...too much
(and don't be the nazi moderator you hate..)

If you want someone to make a video and pay him 1000 DGB, stating that it will be worth 1000$, you'll get te video when DGB is actually 1$ It is logical to pay considering the current value of DGB, and not the expected one. 1000DGB....30 cents, are you serious ? Even 1 million is like 300$ now, which is pretty cheap if the video is cool, and provides new adopters (remember DGB dev gave more to cryptsy voting), and it is normal that someone who spents time to help gets both money and the chance to get much more if the coin goes to the moon.

Could someone explain something to me?
I put a buy order on an X price, lower than the last price marked on mintpal.
I see in the trade history a lot of sell order at that X price.
Why isn't it processed? There are other order before mine? I should buy at X plus something?
actually i re-read again your question. So you want to buy a little cheaper than last dipslayed value of mintpal. Even if there are people who recently made that deal ( in the recent trade), it doenst mean that there is still people selling at this price. If those trades happened recently, it means that people have placed that (low price) buy order before you so their buy order is processed before yours as soon as someone places a sell order at this price (you don't see them in top sell order as they are processed as soon as their arrive because they match existing buy orders). I don't know if putting the buy price a bit higher would make you get the deal, I don't think so, but you could try and let us know...

Don't do what the panic seller do, they feed the whales, don't be whale food. When the price starts rapidly dropping CHECK THE ORDER BOOK, the buy and sell columns, mintpal for example has them. If you see lots of 1.0 MZC sell orders and 1.0 MZC buy orders that are progressively just a hair cheaper then that means they are manipulating the prices. Most people just look at the big letters that say "LAST PRICE" and since the website autofills that price when you go to sell it, panic people don't even check to see what QUANTITY is being offered at that new low price. If it's ONE mzc or 10 mzc......it's not the real price. Look for someone in the sell column that is selling a bitcoin worth or half a bitcoin worth, see what price they want, that's the REAL price. If someone comes along and has two accounts open, they can just buy and sell ONE mzc coin to themselves a little cheaper each time and drive the :LAST PRICE: down, forcing panic sells, Think about this, you are not selling back to the exchange, you are selling to another person, just like you. If you think you don't want them, what makes them want to buy the coins from you??? Because they know damn well the price will go back up, way up, so they want as many cheap coins as possible. tl;dr don't feed the whales hmm, he's buying ...

check the lowest top sell order, and the quantity to be sold at this price. Place your order at this price, you ll buy up to the available quantity (depending on how much you ordered to buy) sorry i didnt read all the post, you arfe doing right, maybe the tarding engine is stuck again on mintpal, if it is the case orders will be processed once rebooted by the support

Really work on adding DGB. Lots of liquidity and great foundation for a coin. YC Hello, CryptoAve.Com is now live and I would like to add one more crypto to the offering. We have both BTC and USD markets, USD account verifications just started today. Already Offered: DGC/LTC/SRC/ARG/PPC What coin should it be? Why should it be that one over the rest? Regards, Baritus +1

Reply from moolah At this stage, I do not feel that adding DGB to our platform would be beneficial. It does not have a user base consistent with our other coins, and community activity seems to be fairly low. -- Alex (Chief Wizard) https://moolah.io :: Next generation payments, today. So You guys were right, DGB needs to become socail so community grows a bit, then payment methods could rise, and money stop being a speculative value, and become a money to buy goods. Let's Go social

https://moolah.io/To promote a bit DBG, do like me on moolah, create an account and then send them a mail, asking them to consider DigiByte as their next Cryptocurrency. I've sent one : Hi, it would be great to have Digibyte integrated, the dev team is very active, and the community is growing. They have developped tools so the currency is stable at mining (digishield) and aim to be a professional currency for everyday expenses, in the perfect scope of what moolah does. All it needs now is payment systems so people can start using it for selling/buying goods or services. Better be the first before it takes off
Thanks !

Very cool! Hope this works out! Please be aware PayPal has been known to shut down crypto accounts in the past. Oh nooooo... "Create a free website like this today" Im a bit worried of how you guys let anyone use the name of DGB, people may think this is directly linked to official DGB dev/group, and totally kills the "professional" assessment.

I'm ok with you guys, but promote what? A money that can't buy anything ? I'm afraid the only ppl you'll recrut are just speculators.
In the other hand, people won't want to sell stuff and be paid in DGB if no one uses it.. egg or chicken
And Speculators are just what we need. Could you develop why ?
