21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need anonymity? on: August 13, 2019, 03:13:21 PM
I think anonymity is still very important, because there are many situations where anonymity can help us overcome power imbalances and exercise our rights.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: August 13, 2019, 01:45:42 PM
Of course, today an academic diploma is still one of the most important documents for applying for a job. With increasing competition in the job market, the level of diploma requested is even higher.
23  Other / Meta / Re: Should there be a bitcointalk app? on: August 12, 2019, 04:07:49 AM
I have no difficulty when accessing this forum using my phone, but I think it would be more comfortable with an application

it's not a problem for me because my little brother knows my pin. He likes to steal my phone to play games while I am asleep  Grin
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lonliness is a disease or gift? on: August 11, 2019, 02:01:21 PM
If loneliness makes you suffer or makes you feel something is missing from your life, in my opinion it could be a disease for you.

But if loneliness makes you more comfortable, or can help you to be better, more productive, I think it's a gift for you.

For me, loneliness is a gift because I feel more comfortable when I'm alone. But I also don't like it happening all the time  Cry

27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 11, 2019, 08:23:24 AM
If what you mean is that as a player I am not very sure, although yes we have heard some of them. But I have seen that most of those who succeed in gambling are those who run a gambling business not as players.

I thought maybe this had something to do between the idol and the fans. Because as we know, even one word from the idol will be so meaningful for his fans   Shocked
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use "real computers", not just smartphones? on: August 11, 2019, 07:18:06 AM
More than 70% of my activity on the internet is using a smartphone. I only use "real computer" for tasks that I cannot complete with a smartphone.
Regarding sites that are not mobile-friendly, I think we all agree that this forum is one of them. But I have a way to make it comfortable on a smartphone.
By activating this add-on BITCOINTALK MOBILE on the Firefox browser.

What I do know is that some BATs may expire from free grants but the BAT you get from ads / transfers from your wallet has no expiration date

33  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: (Hepl) Bagaimana cara kerja offerwall pada faucet on: August 06, 2019, 08:55:19 AM
Jadi gini guys,, Saya lihat hampir semua faucet memiliki fitur survey (Offerwall) Tapi saya bingung bagaimana cara mengerjakannya

34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting into the cryptoworld without investing anything on: August 04, 2019, 07:24:45 AM
There are few faucets that still makes sense because the project is still new and the coins difficulty hasnt skyrocket yet so the faucet payout will be high

The problem is that when coins rise, they also begin to decrease their payments. Not to mention when these faucets pay at the beginning, but then they empty it or become a scam and you realize that you are losing a lot of time.

36  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [TANYA]Apakah Mengaktifkan 2FA Jaminan Tidak Kena Hack on: July 29, 2019, 06:08:41 AM

https://c[Suspicious link removed]m/2019/01/04/how-secure-is-your-account-two-factor-authentication-may-be-hackable.html

saya sebenarnya ingin bertanya melalui Ustadz/Guru ngaji, dll. Tapi takutnya mereka gak paham masalah kayak gini

38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: July 21, 2019, 08:21:30 AM
Without a doubt, it is a complicated query in which you ask about two commodities that currently move in the same price range, where it is clear it is important to forget about the short-term volatility of Bitcoin, as well as what concerns  to liquidity.

Certainly it can be argued that Bitcoin is more recent and has not established itself as such in the market, but in turn it is necessary to recognize that it is more useful in the digital age than gold.  Anyway, gold has a historical record that can not be disputed, which has even been responsible for being one of the most selected options to store value for thousands of years and for multiple human civilizations.

In my opinion, rather than asking which one is better between bitcoin and gold, it is more important to take advantage of both.

Bitcoin is a risky investment.
It may have a much higher yield than other assets, but it is much higher risk.  You can lose (a lot) money if you invest (a lot) money.  Or you can earn (a lot, but a lot) money by investing relatively (a little) money.  So the tip is to invest "some money you might lose".

Gold is a well-established commodity as a value keeper.
In general you do not earn or lose anything with gold, just do not fail to lose because of inflation.  It is very secure (as long as your investment is made in a sound financial institution).  So the tip is to invest "money that you do not want to lose".
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 20, 2019, 07:23:51 PM
"Do Your Own Research"

Investing is difficult.  Nobody is going to do it for you.  No one is going to give all the right ideas.  No one has the crystal ball of clarity about where the market is going.  You need to take time to do the research yourself.  The burden is to inquire into a project and really understand what is getting

Sama gan, gw juga udah lama jadi silent reader dimari dan masih bingung buat ngepost. Pernah beberapa kali dapat ide bagus buat ngepost, tapi pas gw telusuri eh ternyata udah pernah dibahas, terpaksa deh gw urungkan.
