21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: October 12, 2019, 05:37:58 AM
Visa, mastercard, ebay, paypal, drop out from libra..
will libra still continue ...? why one by one partner liba drop out.? https://twitter.com/coindesk/status/1182747730248118280?s=21

i think this libra will continues with or without any partners, because facebook already become a huge company my friend

Probably true. Facebook will have more difficulties and have to invest more of its own money, but they can probably handle it. It is interesting to watch this happen in real-time, though.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: New Exchanges on: October 12, 2019, 05:34:44 AM
A lot of new exchanges is coming into crypto market.
Now a days it is very important that which exchange is good for trading which is not.
So it is advise able to search necessary information before doing trading on any new exchange .

That is pretty much the rule of thumb for anything in crypto, from exchanges to investments, wallets, and alike. Scammers are everywhere still, and letting your guard down is not a good idea.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: October 11, 2019, 10:49:07 AM
We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?

Pretty much. Hype makes the price go high. As soon as the dust settles, those prices fall like rocks. That's why I don't particularly like investing in altcoins, at all. Maybe a handful, but definitely not more than that.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: October 11, 2019, 10:45:54 AM
i don't know what on earth would trigger the bullrun in the alts. i think we have seen enough of this bloodbath there is about 8 month left in the bitcoin next block halving and still market condition is not improving. is there will be any improvement in the alts or they all will die

Honestly, altpocalypse has been announced years back, this is not a surprise at all. As soon as the hype had passed, altcoins started to die out. The process is slow, and that is quite a torture for optimists, but they are going away. I can't describe how many experts, analysts, and others have said that only a handful will remain, and it is finally happening. Or, at least, people are finally becoming aware of it.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: October 11, 2019, 10:43:03 AM
I think that going for top-ranking coins is the safest choice, especially for new investors. You need to have deeper insight in order to choose good coins that have potential but still haven't reached it. That requires experience, time, and dedication, which takes a while. So, the best way to start is with small amounts and the safest coins. That way, you are learning from experience, while you continue to learn theory through articles and observation of the rest of the market.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Libra Fork - OpenLibra - how does it sounds? on: October 10, 2019, 06:07:35 AM
New Libra Fork Will Create Permissionless Stablecoin Free of Corporate Control

Thirty different blockchain companies and nonprofit organizations plan to fork the Facebook-led Libra crypto project to build their own permissionless version, dubbed OpenLibra.

i read it on CoinDesk

what do you guys think about it??

i think that libra is an important project cuz it will bring a lot of new users into the space
and open libra is a good alternative for those (like me) who dont trust facebook at all
and i think that OpenLibra will face less problems with the LAW and SEC, since it has completely different business model..

Good alternative for Libra, yes, but if Libra itself is nothing special, i don't see how the new coin would stand out from most other altcoins. The only advantage that Libra has over any crypto is a massive user base that Facebook can offer it to. Libra can increase awaareness, but other than that, it doesn't seem like anything special.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin at the end of 2019? on: October 10, 2019, 05:40:01 AM
I put in Litecoin halving into google and got:

"Will litecoin go up 2019?
According to oracletime.com, the advantages of Litecoin over Bitcoin will interest many new investors. Their Litecoin forecasts for the end of 2019 is $1000, but there are predictions that it could even rise up to $2000!"

Thoughts?

Who can tell? Price predicting is just plain guessing at this point. As far as anyone is aware, we might have another bear market start today afternoon, or have a bullish trend that will go on for years. One thing that remained constant in crypto for the last decade is that nothing remains constant, and that nothing can be predicted with accuracy.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 09, 2019, 07:16:04 AM
I know it is not secure to use public internet Cafe Computers for accessing the wallets and for transaction needs. At times I don't have any other option than just using it. I would like to know, is there any software available to record the input data entered while accessing the wallet. Recently one of my friend informed about such a way to know the private keys. Is there anyone here have any such experience.

Keyloggers can do that, or spyware, if you get hacked and someone installs one on your device. Use a VPN, they only cost about $10-$13 per month if you pay monthly. If you go for a 6-month or 1-year plan, you get considerable discounts. VPNs use security protocols, encryption, and private servers to make you anonymous and hide your traffic. That means all traffic, and they can even protect you on public networks. Do not use free VPNs, those are not safe, always go premium. The best ones are ExpressVPN, NordVPN, TorGuard, and alike.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 07:12:30 AM
The idea is good, but I don't think that the movie would attract a lot of people if it is too focused on BTC. It should have it as a major component, but ultimately, it should be about something else.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 07:05:41 AM
ISPs are as strongly connected to the internet as the governments and banks are to the money. I don't think we will ever have a fully-decentralized world, where these institutions will simply give up on control. They can't even let us have our privacy, let alone control over the funds and what not. No, if you want it, you must take it yourself. Use crypto to control your own money, and use VPN to protect yourself and bypass censorship and geo-restrictions. As for the rest, well, some things can't be helped.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price today returned to $ 7,800 on: October 08, 2019, 08:55:34 AM
Bitcoin price slipped to $ 7,800
Many experts have foresaw Bitcoin's downturn as all eyes are on Golden Week * in China. However, when the Chinese return to the cryptocurrency market this week, will they decide to buy at the current bottom? Or will they continue to stand out of the game to watch the support break down?

(* Golden Week is a policy applied in China since 1999 for two important holidays: Chinese New Year and National Day (October 1). Before 2007, Chinese people also had a "Golden Week". "Tuesday is International Labor Day May 1.)

Overview of Bitcoin price and cryptocurrency market today (October 7).
With Bitcoin's daily price chart, the usual price range is $ 7,600 to $ 9,500. When Bitcoin is put into the sideway, the buying and selling forces will fall into equilibrium. At the same time, the market is about to have big fluctuations. Therefore, Bitcoin is best to keep a stable support level of $ 7,120 to gain momentum in the near future. If not, the market could witness a new plunge.
You can read can track Bitcoin price today right below:

Bitcoin (BTC)

$ 7,923.84 (-2.57%)

MCap

$ 142.45 B

$ 13.39 B

And now it's back to $8,200+. That's what BTC price does. It goes up, it goes down, it goes up again. Bitcoin is young and volatile, with no regulations, while its technology is still maturing. No need to get excited about it every time its price moves for a few hundred bucks.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: October 08, 2019, 08:49:32 AM
BNB may still hit $50, provided that a massive rally arrives. The coin may have decoupled from BTC, supposedly, earlier this year, but it did not do so well since the second half of 2019 took place. However, i don't see BNB as a coin with huge chances of survival. It has no use cases outside of Binance's ecosystem, so if the exchange happens to shut down for whatever reason, BNB will be pretty useless.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS TRX the King of Entertainment Coins on: October 08, 2019, 07:07:45 AM
In theory, yeah. However, it remains questionable how well TRX would have performed without Justin Sun to keep the hype up. Who knows, with TRON blockchain growing, maybe Sun is not needed anymore, but it is he — not tron — who brought trx to where it is now.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: October 07, 2019, 07:41:05 AM

Libra is not even a real cryptocurrency. Also, PayPal should already be removed from the list of supporting companies, and it will likely not be the last one to leave Libra before the coin sees launch.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible reasons why PayPal dropped Facebook’s Libra membership on: October 07, 2019, 06:34:15 AM
Possible reasons why PayPal dropped Facebook’s Libra membership

Quote
PayPal seeks China market entry

Just last week, PayPal Holdings Inc. obtained approval from Chinese regulators to purchase a majority stake of a local payment processing firm, GoPay Information Technology. As a result of this acquisition, it would make PayPal the first foreign company to make an entrance into China’s payment services market.

PayPal Payment platform potentially used by child exploitation rings

Another possible explanation could be due to wide attention Facebook’s Libra project has gather. Since the launch, governments and regulators around the world have backlashed the initiative and calling for a halt until all regulatory concerns have been addressed.

PayPal may be concerned that by formally signing membership in Facebook’s Libra association may put them into the regulatory spotlight. So why PayPal does n’t want that.

Apparently there are claims that PayPal’s payment platform is used for money laundering. The firm is undergoing investigation by AUSTRAC for its fund transfer platform used by child exploitation rings in Asia.

https://cryptopurview.com/possible-reasons-why-paypal-dropped-facebook-libra-membership/

Very interesting, but I think the reason is that Paypal doesn't want their name to be associated with Libra right now because of the negativity around this project. A lot of negative sentiments around this project even prior to the release.

And they Paypal have established themselves already and they don't want their good name to be with some product that has a lot of adverse reaction that can have a domino effect on their name in the future.

This is interesting, but whatever the reason may be — the decision will probably be a good thing for PayPal, as well as for anyone who follows it. I personally do not expect that regulations will come anytime soon, at least not for a few more years, so PayPal has a lot to lose if it continues supporting Libra.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is Literally Hitting the Road on: October 07, 2019, 05:35:59 AM
I expect we'll be seeing more of this in years to come. As always, the most difficult part is to start, once the ads start emerging in the real world, the entire thing starts taking off really quickly. So yeah, good development, thanks for sharing.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exacly what is the Reason? on: October 05, 2019, 07:03:13 AM
Exacly what is the Reason bull run have not started yet?

There is allready good things happening Bakkt, Binance, bitmex large volumes and so...

Still that all its not enough?

Well, when you think about it, the bull run starts when there is a huge demand, which forces the price to go up. So it stands to reason that people need to start buying BTC more in order for its price to grow. There's your problem, there is likely skepticism and uncertainty in the heart of it all.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee To Launch New Decentralized Exchange – McAfeeDex on: October 05, 2019, 07:00:03 AM
Well!! popular crypto expert john mcafee decided to launch a decentralised Exchange McAfeeDex.

Read here: McAfeeDex

What's your take on this?

To be perfectly honest, I can't take anything McAfee does seriously anymore. I can't decide if he is just trolling or he legitimately believes in what he is doing, but he is definitely too weird and unstable to be trusted about anything at this point.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 04, 2019, 10:02:22 AM
Bitcoin has come along way we have seen massive adoption and so many videos, news, and articles about websites and many people have invested and are now using Bitcoin do you think after ten years majority of people around the world have heard or read Bitcoin one time or another?

Depends on the region. Where I live, i never heard of BTC before I was asked to start writing about it. Never heard about it on the news, or seen it in local newspaper. Also never seen it on Facebook or any other social network. Not even on Reddit, until i started actively seeking it out. Crypto is not jumping out in the world nearly as much as we believe. but that's because people who know about it tend to seek it out. Nobody from my generation knows anything about it, apart from maybe, MAYBE, hearing the name once, with no context or understanding of what it is.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Sanders being sick may be good for bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 09:57:44 AM
Ok, before you get on your horses to attack, let me explain. If Bernie Sanders (78 years old) drop out of the race, the Democrat party is most likely be represented by Joe Biden (76) or Elizabeth Warren (70).
Elizabeth Warren is an open critic of Wall Street and banks. Where did I hear that? I was listening to wall street journal in my audible today and that is where I heard  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
You know what happens when a president is a critic of Wall Street and the darn banks? They turn pro bitcoin!!!

54 years of Kamala Harris is from California and she is also a progressive.
Anyway, I can almost hear you say that none of these women can pass Joe Biden, but you never know. After all, Obama was not given a chance against Bush at first, but then you know what happened.
Even if these women lose against Biden, they may be Vice presidents or something. And I think White House is ready to see a woman in office.

None of those old politicians are going to be good for BTC. They are too old-school, no matter how much they criticize banks and Wall Street. They might be after new regulations or more limiting laws or whatever, but they won't go for BTC, it is too new to them, and they don't understand it. And they shouldn't, they are 70+, 80+ people.
