We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Coin and tokens has no real value as it can't be use to purchase thing in local stores, though the demand from the people dictates the price in the market.
THe more demands they get the better the value.
Airdrops are not that big, people only get this free token in reasonable numbers, some might not even good to trade due to the gas fee.

For me the main reason is the luck of demands, the token is listed in not good exchange with low volume.
Pre-sale tokens are not locked and big investors who got huge discounts starts to sell at the very beginning.

The first reason was true but it much better to replace your second reason with the developer was offering too many bonuses for the early investors that might create a dump to the market when the token traded above the price of early stage.
But the downtrend will have caused by that coin has no liquidity and demand.
This is a usual thing in the crypto when a crap coin will have no demand.

what you mean by Pre-sale tokens are not locked and big investors who got huge discounts starts to sell at the very beginning.

Do you mean owner sell the token after listing in exchanges at low price ?

I think this can’t happen with a good project, since I reckon that the team has smart people and they have re-calculated everything.  The only reason I think the price is falling very much is because the team itself starts selling its tokens if they are not blocked.

Or the third option, the team doesn't care about the the project and the price at all. If a project is true to their words and they have the capabilities to finish what they started, they would find ways to prevent the market from going down. Even if the second option is present, a project wouldn't die from it, but most of them die or just exit scam after the first wave.

All of your opinion and observation are all true, but the hardest thing to accept is the developers run away with the loot or investor's money after doing crowdfunding, they list the coins and after that, we never hear from them again hundreds of projects are like that two examples are Resto Token and Konios

nah bounty and airdrop isn't really have much coin/token , usually just like 2-10 % from total supply. I think the coin/token have no demand there. No one wanna buy it. It team and developer problem that fail to attract peoples to buy their coin/token

About the second reason i belief if the project is good enough with high demanding rate it will always recover even if all bounty hunters and airdroppers dump the coin or token, go for coins with real use cases, you might witness very high demand and there will be enougj volume for such coin

and maybe there is another reason my friend
third, early investors with huge bonus, they will dump their bonus when the project listed on exchange
fourth, when the team dump their token early, because there is no locked up period mate
sometimes people blame the bounty hunters and airdrop hunters, but the fact not all hunters will dump their rewards earlier, because the delay on distributions

Yes i think so. Firstly if project is not good enough then people don't want to show their interest about it. So that time investor who bye huge amount coin they sold it and price drop dramatically day by day.

And the second one also a cause for that. I saw some bounty campaign that one single person can earn lot of coin if the person join signature bounty. Because maximum project based by stakes and they just take that opportunity like that. And when coin come to the market hungry bounty hunter sell his/her reward no matter what price is that. Because they don't care about project they just need money for their couple of months hard work. Which have a point though.

And i can blame for that admin team undoubtedly. Because if they are take some responsible step then nobody has to seen this picture. It's really hard to see in front of my own eyes when a coin dead like that.  Cry Cry

One of the reason why lots of coin dumped during exchange Is due to the quality of some shitty exchanges they got listed on,  exchange with fake volume no real trades just bot trades

Bounties and airdrop participants also contribute to token fall in price,  as huge as harmony project is,  it got dumped hard time when bounties participants where being shared their tokens

Sometimes team might be dumping secretly when listed on exchange, These are some of the factors that cause dumping when listed on exchange

First reason is valid because price will vary on actual coins usage or support from the community but if we do talk about initial phase dumps
then most probably the reason is on the early investors itself specially to those who got some decent bonus or discounts on early sale.
Airdropped coins are only minimal and even into their bounty programs allocation. It do only get some negative impressions most of the
time when we do talk initial exchange listing dumps.

I disagree in regards to airdrop as those are just small percentage of its supply. It may cause a short term dump but if that project is really one of a kind it will find a way to soar  high and other than that for me the main reason is because of those investors who got a lot because of bonus

Dont' forget cheap price that investor get in presale. It means they don't need to wait ICO price to sell their coins. And about airdrop, it is right if people who get rewards from airdrop and bounty wouldn't think about price because they not lose anything, but bounty and airdrop usually only use very small amount in percentage from total supply of the coin / token.

Don't blame too hard the bountyhunters and airdroppers to drop the price after the listing (unlike if they are farmers).
It could be the early investors to take profit or even the members of the project's team.

That's right, the average allocation for bounties and airdrop is only 2% -3% of total supply. This is very different from the many bonuses that are obtained by investors, in private and public sale. Therefore the fall in prices at the time of listing is not only due to the bounty hunter, but because of the investors themselves.

At present in some bounties, developers have changed the rules to delay bounty payments and are given a time lag from their first listing.

Truth.
Basically the first factor.
If the asset were of fundamental value, then all bounty hunters or airdropers would not destroy the price by 90%.
But everyone wants fast money here and now.
Here we go again .
Would you explain how does the airdrop or bounty participants destroy the price by 90%.
When the bounty + airdrop would only be about around 5-10% of the supply.
And not to mention that we have some bounty or airdrop holders.
Truth to be told it is not just the bounty hunters who are crashig it,
It is also the investors and the small amount of demand .

The first reason is almost 100% true for all tokens ever listed. Value is artificial, derived not from actual use but from speculation and guessed use case not real utility.

IEO coins aren't also usually given away as airdrops, not in the beginning anyway. They airdrop or give free ones to those after the sale.

That's how I see it anyway.
