I have been waiting for ages, I can wait another week. Gemini is a major player, it will enable all the clueless people with money to get on Bitcoin safely and a regulated non sketchy way. The days of the Mt Gox era are starting to look more and more like a nightmare of the past that will not happen again.
so are itbit, coinbase, circle, and other people providing "regulated" ways to get in. it's not gonna make much of a difference. It's just an excuse for people to hope it will bring up the price, but in reality, it's gonna be the same result. What I am hoping for is major use cases of btc, utility vs exchanges. Sum of parts taking usage higher, investment from 2014 kicking in. |

Oil Company stocks/shares and Bitcoins, both had terrible year, both will rebound strong over medium/long term.

Very hard not to have concerns when reading the troll filled forums daily,i know. Good to take a break and consider why you originally invested, make your own choice (forums good to read but make it your choice ) have faith hold if not sell and don't look back. Myself bitcoin has always been a fun gamble with great tech, put in what i can afford to loose, plus side at these prices greatly out weighs possible loss to me. Best of luck op in your choice.

Pathetic. That exchanges real volume is probably <20K a day, not >200k

Im thinking of spending more in the 25K ballrange lets just say that if you could buy 100 bitcoins what interval would you choose to buy at. I already own 50,kept them thinking it was going to hit 2k,slept and missed my chance to sell.
But if I am to buy again I am thinking it is going to dip again,I think ill hold on until about 200. I feel one thing is for sure,January is going to be a big month ,but it could be good it could be bad.
Confused ( norm for me ) You have 50 coins at today's price £380 ish and you think the price will drop to 270 ish so you can buy another 100 ? no meantion of selling the 50 and buying 150 on your drop to sub 300 ? |

Brilliant peace of news, more important to bitcoin than paypal, Circle have made it easier for joe public to own and use bitcoins. For anything near mass adoption bitcoin needs to be as simple as using your credit card. Great news no wonder they raised 25 million so easily.

Not the earliest Adopter started mining early 2014 about that time started reading the speculation Forum and just about everything i could find relating to the bitcoin and the blockchain. Total believer/ Bull but now sick of reading about trains, the moon and feckin bubbles with the smallest peace of good news.
The bubble can wait i am happy to Mine buy and hoard the more the better (yes i know famous last word possibly ) and happy to continue down this path, early adopters i salute your wisdom, patience is a virtue !!

Market cap over 7 billion, to move this price significantly we need something more substantial than eBay thinking about dipping its toe in the water. Yes its good news and another step towards mass adoption. In my option next step forward for Bitcoin successful launch of ETF, product designed to use bitcoin as a store of wealth and reduce the flow of bitcoins being dumped onto the market daily.
