Where do you expect the price to go after pumping for almost an year? Bitcoin was just going through a correction and no amount of positive or negative news could have prevented that. Market corrections are very necessary as they bring the price down to saner levels instead of over valuating something.

I still believe in bitcoin, without losing my faith that bitcoin someday would strongly develop their price level that goes up to higher level as what people being predicted. So I decided to hold my bitcoin now until such time that bitcoin price stay at the top level of price.

Yes whales manipulate crypto currency market in their favour to gain profit from their investment and how did they do it, they sell their position in at the same time and that will affect the market value of Bitcoin. And once they boticed that the price of bitcoin is low they buy back at the cheaper rate.

So strongly agree, bitcoin will only die when there is no electricity and internet. Bitcoin can not just instantly die,
for lots of investors in it. It is just unstable price which is dropped down for now, but it not totally dead.
Thinking that Bitcoin will die because of the lack of internet and electricity is humorous though it is true but that from happening has a very low possibility since I don't think countries, especially the first countries, don't you think? I think what will make Bitcoin die is the scams and hackings that might happen in the future. Both of them need experience because without knowledge about trading and fail to choose the right coin for investing will leads to loss.
So both are very effective way, to make money but we have to follow some decent measures and steps to make profits.
I think a little difference is there between the two, To trading is more active and more risky as compare to investment, in trading we need to study the market from time to time and should take a right decision in right time without any delay, while in investment you can wait for the price only to increase, it is a passive income and it even do not require a good experience and skill. |

Op, if you are to follow the advise of everyone around it then mean that you don't have a plan before you invested your money in Bitcoin and altcoins. Look at the charts from the start and you'll see that we're still at an uptrend compared to most of last year.
People always look at the short term charts. Main point of importance is that the recent noobs complaining about the current price have bought near peak levels, and have constantly seen the price go down, which pretty much explains why they don't care about what happened in the past. The only market they care about is the one after they entered, and for them, even though if you don't sell you don't lose anything, it feels like a major loss. I figured that out after thinking through why noobs don't care about what the market did in the past, and this is what I consider to be the main reason. It makes sense as well if you think logically.... agree, most people are concerned only with their own assets, so it's no wonder that the current market conditions are the main benchmark for them whether the investment is profitable or not. They do not look at people who have bought bitcoin when under $ 1k because in general people who buy the price can still smile broadly despite the current market conditions. So the conclusion is true, people who buy at the peak price will be more concerned with the price after they open a position regardless of the previous history. I think that is only natural, all the people that invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies do so because they want to earn profits, they really do not care if an earlier adopter has got incredible profits even with this market price, what we all want is to obtain profits ourselves so if you bought when the price was at the highest then it is natural to be worried, even if I still think that bitcoin could go higher in the next years. Wanna see people's predictions for the next bull run.
When will it begin, how high will it go, and when will it end resulting in the next major crash?
Bull run here I'm talking about when the price is at an ATH and starts pumping in dramatic fashion, and the bull run ends when it experiences a major lasting crash. For example, last bull run basically started May 1st when bitcoin started pumping from around $1300/1400 and started shooting up hundreds of dollars. And it ended mid-December, the previous crashes last year were shorter corrections during the bull run.
So basically once it breaks $20k and at some time after starts going crazy with a new hype phase, when do you think that'll begin, how high will it go, and when will it end to start the next major crash?
My prediction:
$20k+ -> $70k
Dec 2018 -> Aug 2019
In my opinion the next bull run is going to start will start until the middle of the next year and I think will goes something close to 40,000 to 50,000 dollars and then it will crash to a price close to 20,000 dollars so in my opinion this is the perfect time to begin to buy bitcoin before the next bull run the best thing is that you have a lot of time before that happens. Now bitcoin price has taken the step and it is expected that it will now continue increasing tell the end of the year 2018, it is expected that at the end of 2018 the bitcoin price will be trading above 50000$ and therefore we can expect that bitcoin price will continue increasing its price through the whole year. |

I will say it's risky, buh what were have to do is to think positive. The price can either go up or down at any time.But the most important thing is to keep our hopes high and believe that it's gonna go higher and stable.

I do not think that bitcoin will ever replace gold. These are quite different things. Gold is traded in organized financial markets, and bitcoin is traded on decentralized exchanges
That is what i am also thinking about, to me i think that there is a big different between bitcoin and gold, i do not think that we can compare the two, in fact bitcoin is a digital currency which we can directly use for online shopping and do not need to convert it first in to any other current, while Gold is something else, although it has a good value but still we cannot use it for shopping online or even for shopping in our local area. |
