I'm disappointed to hear that you are dropping any-2-any trading. All my favourite trades were crazy currency pairs where the market was a mile wide.

Yeah, I'm going to be sad to see this go too. Your points are valid Kumala, but (purely for selfish reasons) it is a shame to see any-2-any come to an end.

I sold the LS yesterday in-person, which was easier for both myself and the buyer. Thank you for the interest, everyone.

Dulinxu seems to have lost interest. I am therefore looking for a buyer again. I accepted Dulinxu's offer of 11BTC a few days ago; I am now looking for offers of 10BTC.

Where are you? I want to come to pick up

This is where the deal will die   Grin

Heh, I took the conversation to PM's at that point.

Dulinxu seems interested, but will need a couple of days to straighten things out (among other things, getting BTC rather than LTC to pay for it...). I'd like other interested parties to make themselves known to me through PM or otherwise, though.

asicminer blades cost now 3.8BTC. and the 13ghs blades cost 3.5BTC. so i offer 11BTC.

If this is true, this seems like a reasonable offer. Can you point me to where you're seeing the blades for that price? I seem to be unable to find it. That said, I may well accept this offer regardless simply for expediency's sake; I will sleep on it tonight.

official 13ghz/s are all sold out. but if you really want i can sell my slightly used blade to you Grin, i only used for 2days. and the new blade is 3.8BTC if you buy more than 8 piece.

Can you link to a topic where they were being sold at that price? I've had a quick skim through the group buy section but can't lay my eyes on it.

i find it! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=282867.0

Indeed! In light of that, I'm happy to accept your offer of 11BTC. If you're comfortable with not using escrow, then if you pay 11BTC to 1Loia9dJxqZSUzLKLeHsTQmVrM4trxvEo9 and PM me your address within the next couple of hours, I will be able to get it posted out this morning and pay for Saturday delivery. Otherwise, we can arrange the escrow, and assuming that's sorted in time it'll get it posted tomorrow, and hopefully it'd end up with you on Monday.

I have (another) ASIC to sell. Originally paid for at the start of October, my circumstances have changed and I can no longer mine long-term. It arrived today, and I will have this unit hashing away until it sells, but would like to sell it sooner rather than later.

Happy to use escrow if desired, but anyone other than John K will need justification. I've done deals without issue and without escrow on the forums before, and you can also look at my OTC Feedback.

ASICminer blades are currently going for a minimum of 4.5BTC/10Ghash, so I'm looking for around 13 BTC including delivery for this unit. I'll send it next day delivery as soon as I can after payment is received (which will be no more than 24 hours).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for fixing the bug where the API returned that an order didn't exist when it had been filled.

To be honest, most users will see the same return with a much lower effort to set up by using middlecoin.com.

OP updated, price reduced.
32  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][UK] Avalon Batch 2 Unit - Stable at 83GH/s on: July 30, 2013, 08:36:07 AM
I'm not interested in the unit, but is that with the stock PSU?

EDIT: N/M I'm an idiot, thought you said 93.

Not relevant to your question, but you happen to have raised a pertinent point. I have replaced the PSU with a Corsair AX1200 I had spare. This removed a high pitched whine the supplied PSU seemed to be giving me, and also makes it suitable for upgrading with a fourth Avalon module, should you happen to have one spare.

Currently have this advertised on OTC, cross posting to here. I'd prefer to keep this in the UK, but will entertain offers from Europe.

It hashes with no problems at all. Running conman's latest firmware, and it is currently overclocked to 353Mhz chip speed, and is operating at 83GHash without any issues.

Happy to use escrow if desired, but anyone other than John K will need justification. I've done deals without issue and without escrow on the forums before, and you can also look at my OTC Feedback. I currently have it listed on OTC at 140BTC delivered, but that is simply the price I would sell it at without further consideration. I am open to reasonable offers. Don't hesitate to ask further questions.

EDIT 1: As mentioned below, the PSU has been upgraded, and you will receive all the unused cables from the AX1200 in their original box. It also fear that the 140BTC price I mooted above has been scaring people off. Other (not upgraded) units in the forums have been going for 120BTC in the last few days, but even this seems high. I am therefore revising my 'Buy it now' price to 105BTC. I still welcome offers, however.

In addition, if escrow is not used, as soon as the BTC is received, I will set the machine mining at the pool(s) you specify for at least one week before I ship it to you. This will have to be done on a pool such as Eligius with openly available statistics.

Edit 2: Now sold. Thank you for the interest.

I'm still having trouble with the new API. The orderid returned by release_order works when passed to read_order if the order is released by not filled. However, if the order has been filled, I get 'Order does not exist'. Anyone else?
35  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: July 22, 2013, 03:00:47 PM
Has anyone else gotten read_order working with the new API? I have delete_order working successfully with the new otype parameter, but read_order keeps returning 'Authentication failed'.

EDIT: read_order doesn't have otype hashed in the token that's passed, but delete_order does. This seems inconsistent for no real reason...

Users of CryptoSwitcher will likely be interested in MiddleCoin, which has just started: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259649
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: July 22, 2013, 11:04:32 AM
At a stroke, this basically obsoletes CryptoSwitcher. Nice job!
38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 06, 2013, 07:32:17 PM
I am still somewhat confused about the HW error %.  If I do (1385 * 100) / (134570 + 1385) it comes to 1.02.  So, does that mean 1.02% HW error?  Or am I looking at this wrong.

The fact that my HW is so close to my accepted is what is confusing me about this.  I want to start optimizing my box and working to get my hash rate a bit higher, but I think I need a better understanding of what some of these numbers mean first.

I think your calculation is right. HW being so close to accepted is just a coincidence.

So which pools are people using for their Avalons?

I'm seeing much poorer performance using eustratum than I should be. I'm in Europe, and my ping to eustratum is 20ms compared to my ping to 'normal' stratum which is over 100ms. However, mining on eustratum I'm seeing more than 10% rejects, whereas on stratum I'm seeing way below 0.5%. I can't understand why. Is there something up with eustratum?
