I mostly active on altcoinstalks forum because it's user-friendly community. Altcoinstalks is the most friendliest forum & Bitcointalk is the best crypto knowledge base forum right now. I am really thankfull to be a Sr member on altcoinstalks forum. Now altcoinstalks is going to another step up to be a good cryptocurrency related forum.
Well friendliness is important, but information is what users need. We will try to provide a vibe that encourages both. |

At least with that Highlighted Message they admit that Bitcointalk.org is the superior against all forum in planet. Offering from FULL member and UP while in other site the Lower rank must be at least SENIOR. I remember checking that Site last year i Guess,But the community seems boring and the topics are slow moving ,With also almost Bounty hunters post available to read. Description: I'm not altcoinstalks forum admin/moderator/manager or somehow related to it's development - I am an active user and want to share here info, which may be useful for others. This feature may be useful for managers/promoters/project and for regular users as well, you will be able to join bounties/etc. Teleported RankThe crypto community is growing fast, and with new waves of users, the experience gets diluted. We end up with groups of people talking nonsense about price speculation, with no real knowledge at all. We want experienced people to have a say on our forum. That's why we are launching the Teleported rank. This rank allow top users to teleport from other forums to ours, while keeping their rank. That means they can have valuable discussions, share their knowledge and improve the quality of discussion, but also they can join bounties and airdrops on our forum as well. Open for members too, case to case, you can join and pm me This feature does not make much sense to me, I mean if someone wants to be a member at altcoinstalks then he should register there and naturally rank up, this would also help the member to understand the posting rules of the particular forum, this would give another unfair advantage to old bitcointalk accounts that have never earned merits but have hero and legendary ranks just because of old, merit less system. |

I am confused, what it is stopping a complete newbie from just selecting a high ranked account in this forum and claim that they are the owners and immediately go up in the ranks in that forum without deserving it? Are they implementing anything to stop people from abusing this practice? For example do you have to sign a message with an address known to have been used by the account in this forum to be able to tell you are the actual owner of the account you claim to have in bitcointalk? Because if they do not then this will backfire badly. Very valid question, indeed, in crypto, many people are dishonest, Thus each user needs to put a link to the altt profile, otherwise as tou said, they will each pretend to be so eone else |

Yes mate, its still very much available , i just got teleported on altcoinstalks a couple of days ago , all you got to do is make sure your bitcointalk username is the same as your altcoinstalks username and then, you are good to go, follow the procedures as stated in this thread, or you can visit altcoinstalks and read the process there, do what the instruction says and pm the admin with your links, and in a day or two , you will be teleported . Actually most are teleported within few hours... What is the use of teleport if you need to wait 2 days  |

So I teleported my account as a clone (duplicate profile). I'm quite proud of myself as I'm the first user to have done so, as a cloned teleport https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=181401.0I've already been added to a watch-list by some dumb moderator though, such is life. To be clear to others, duplicate accounts are allowed on altt But to protect bounties we tag them with duplicates/ clones This way bounty manager can request verification that the user is not joining twice ... |

I think this is very good to implement and hopefully I can register on the altcoinstalk forum because I see a lot of good potential that can be obtained there, still enthusiastic to find profit.
Now it is really so easy that there is no need to even think about it ! Instant rank teleportation, can't get better than that |

No wonder since yesterday I was confused by a number of people in the Altscointalk forum, there were those who had senior member rank to legendary, it turned out that they could duplicate data from the bitcointalk forum. It looks like the two community are cooking up stuffs. i wish to see bitcointalk allow users from altcointalk to also teleport their account into bitcointalk and gain probably a little rank up. if altcointalk can allow members here to migrate and maintain their ranking statues. i see no reason why altcointalk users can not migrate to bitcointalk and enjoy the same gratitude giving to them as well. My humble opinion.
i just wanted to point out, that even if we assume there is a will did you take in consideration the merit system ? it takes 1000 merit point to become legendary, that means ages ... thus it's going to be very difficult for btt users to accept such an option Also bitcointalk is about bitcoin, bitcoin the king of crypto. Why would the admins bother about other cryptos when bitcoin is 50% or more of the entire crypto market |

That's a great idea Admin Alts did. I think it gives everyone a chance to get good ratings. The legends at BTT will get the same opportunity at Alts. I think this is part of recruiting participants to stay active there. But do they only provide a rank label, while participants' efforts to activate the forum are very small. Bounties will probably have an influence on the activity. The same as bounties have an influence on the activity here. If there were no bounties most bounty hunters will have little activity |

Like for example now, if I want to teleport my bitcointalk rank to altcoinstalk , I will have to put my altcointalk account link on my bitcointalk signature? Is this what they mean??

There is no need to add in your signature. You can add your altcointalk profile link to your bitcointalk forum information, like website. You can check my profile for information if don't understand. Adding a signature (for 24hrs) is only for joining the "Potential Hero" membership group, as well as reserved for higher ranks. Teleporting is a lot more straightforward  Potential hero is now redirected toward something else, as we already have teleported which basically negate necessity for potential hero original conception |

This is a very short time event and I do not think many high-ranking BTT members will be interested to do that. There is a lot of space in this forum to contribute so they may not go to another forum which is full of spam poster. But I hope that the forum will be as good as BTT and they need to do some changes to their forum rules and ranking system.
We do try to prevent shitposting, and i do think our altcoins forum have some value, especially those interested in specific coins |

I have seen this copy forum of Bitcointalk on bounty campaigns but never paid attention.
the forums are pretty different, style, looks, focus, sections ... the only thing they have similar is the forum software ... There are also more ranks, Mythical and Padawan, as well as a many more special membership groups (such as teleporters). Users misbehaving receive behavioral strikes, plagiarism strikes and so on. The structure and moderation is also quite different basically... We need a shitposter group But we already have a Low Quality Posts (LQP) membership group?  Sometimes I feel like you've forgotten what you've created, or achieved, depending on how you look at things. It is not frequently used. Most times they report shitposts ... |
