21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument. on: August 20, 2021, 08:25:14 AM
When new technologies appear, they often have an impact on the environment. Developers at the time may not consider these factors. Bitcoin is no exception. Bitcoin is a powerful tool. In fact, Bitcoin has also gained in finance. Great progress has been made. In essence, Bitcoin is not harmful to the environment, but the production resources of Bitcoin are very large, and the mining farm requires a lot of computing power and electricity to operate. Consuming energy is harmful to the environment, but the creation of fiat currency also pollutes the environment, but I believe that with the passage of time, although Bitcoin is not environmentally friendly now, I think there will be better in the future Way.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: August 19, 2021, 09:46:45 AM
Most beginners have the psychology of getting rich overnight, thinking that the currency circle has high returns, but at the same time the risk is proportional to the return. When they are unfamiliar and unable to adapt to the market proficiently, they still become very confident, and they don't even understand some words and trends. Indeed, I have really met such friends. He didn't understand what I was talking about when we communicated. I think such investors are very irresponsible and treat themselves. Irresponsible, failure is justified and destined.
23  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Afghanistan fall into a prolonged state of war again? on: August 18, 2021, 08:30:06 AM
As the United States accelerates its withdrawal from Afghanistan, the withdrawal of the United States has exacerbated the imbalance of Afghanistan's internal power. At present, Afghanistan will fall into a situation of prolonged or normalized civil war.I also saw the video about the airport. Those people wanted to catch American planes. That scene deeply touched me. Human lives are so small and humble in the war. This is terrible.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the legal status of Bitcoin in your country? on: August 17, 2021, 03:58:43 AM
Bitcoin has been regarded as an asset in our country, and our country also supports the further development of Bitcoin. There will be a little tax on the purchase of Bitcoin in our country, just like we have to levy a certain tax on luxury goods, etc.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: August 17, 2021, 03:38:08 AM
I think the reason why newbies lose Bitcoin is much more than that simple. Maybe they do not have the freedom of wealth, so they have to take greater risks. So when I first entered the currency circle, I wanted to understand this. Of course, I did not succeed, but the unsuccessful adventure is not without meaning. The experience that the loss brings to me is very precious.
At first I felt that I didn't believe in Bitcoin and I didn't have enough ability. If I really believed in Bitcoin at the time, I should continue to make money and buy the bottom when I buy Bitcoin. When the market value is the highest, I also have considerable wealth, so belief is very important. Believe that you can hold Bitcoin is the ultimate believer.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will make Canada a superpower? on: August 16, 2021, 03:11:45 AM
This helps Canada and its people grow and prosper. Quebec may become the most advanced state/region in the world. This will be an interesting future. The two articles are a bit similar, but there are differences, but it doesn't matter.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whose job should be more appreciated about Bitcoin widespread? on: August 16, 2021, 02:22:26 AM
In fact, in the current Internet age, the most direct and fastest spreading is online news. Media news is always spread all over the world at a very fast speed. I first learned about Bitcoin when I saw it on the Internet. In the news, the online media vigorously promoted Bitcoin to let people learn about Bitcoin and gradually become interested in Bitcoin.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: August 13, 2021, 08:43:22 AM
In Bitcoin, we can truly control our own money instead of indirectly controlling our own property through other banks. In the Bitcoin system, we can better manage our finances. In banks, there is a central server of the bank to manage your money, but Bitcoin does not have this problem.

30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2021, 02:49:36 AM
Savings are necessary for investment. Investment is good, but you cannot invest without saving first. So hoarding is just another word for saving. There are two very different ways of saving. Hoarding is one of them, investment is the other. The biggest difference between the two is that hoarding takes money out of circulation, while investment keeps money in circulation, even if you are saving.
If you can hoard a large amount of Bitcoin and hold it for a few years, you will see how the price changes that year, and you will experience the beauty of Bitcoin.

It's not that important. It is important that applications with 1, 2,3 or 4 merit are not considered here, the minimum is either 0 or 5.

By the way, at first I thought that you also applied.  Grin
Thank you, I am very happy to see your approval.

A person can skip meals for three days, but cannot avoid drinking water for three days. It plays an important role in human life and is an important material indispensable for people's survival and development.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 09:07:18 AM
Because of the value of Bitcoin, people will hoard it,
Take me as an example. I will invest 20% of my salary in Bitcoin because I think Bitcoin is very valuable and I believe in Bitcoin, so I think Bitcoin is worth investing in.
But if you let me buy something with bitcoin, I will hesitate and pay with fiat currency first.
Although people can pay in any way, will Bitcoin be your first choice?
Now the difference between fiat currency and Bitcoin is that one is inflation currency and contraction currency. Inflated currency (fiat currency) means that if it inflates, you want to get rid of it as soon as possible. For example, we use fiat currency to buy things, invest in real estate, cryptocurrency, stocks. And to shrink the currency (Bitcoin) you buy goods or services, or hoard it. This has no effect on the economy, except to reduce the monetary base and make the currency more scarce, so deflation is faster.
In my opinion, Bitcoin is a store of value, not a currency. There may be cryptocurrencies becoming legal tender, but not now, volatility and supply and demand need to be considered.
When you hoard bitcoins, it means you trust bitcoins enough to deposit bitcoins. The best money is the most trustworthy money, so hoard bitcoins.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: August 09, 2021, 08:25:01 AM
When Bitcoin among cryptocurrencies rises, other currencies will follow Bitcoin's rise. If it wants to fall, then other currencies will basically fall. Most crypto enthusiasts are not for investment, but for speculation, resulting in insufficient liquidity.
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to lose weight? on: August 07, 2021, 09:52:01 AM
There are indeed many ways to lose weight and drugs, but I personally think that drugs should not be used regardless of whether you are allergic or not. I think it can be summarized in four words, eat less and move more, and do not do things that harm your body. This may be the opposite.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: August 07, 2021, 08:25:07 AM
None of my friends and family members are into crypto and consider it a scam or something without a real value (except my gf , she is into this as much as me).

But it gets worse.(off topic) My high school was focused on chemistry and microbiology and now I continue studying chemistry.

My father in law keeps saying that I don't know what I'm talking about when we talk about some virus because he read something else on Facebook and this is all a conspiracy.

This hurts me but I can't "look for a new one"

So just accept them as they are and don't bring crypto in the discussion.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show me your biggest gains! on: August 07, 2021, 07:54:58 AM
Several months of leveraged trading lost $4,000. It's just a few days of investing money and the need to recover my losses as soon as possible, without any strategy or plan. When I lost so much money, I stopped. Now I train myself to only place fiat currencies on paydays and a small amount.
The advice between brothers, if you do not have proper knowledge, please avoid leveraged trading, or avoid leveraged trading altogether. Many experienced people have lost their shirts. Leveraged trading is direct gambling and is always a bad idea.
38  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anxiety goes depression on: August 06, 2021, 09:11:56 AM
More anxiety is depression. I have been tortured by depression for a long time, I don't know. I have a bad temper. After a lot of setbacks, I have nothing. But after thinking about it a lot, I started to change myself, a little bit slowly, only to realize that it was not particularly difficult.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 06, 2021, 09:04:18 AM
When we accumulate enough wealth, we will improve our living standards. After all, we have enough wealth to enjoy life after retirement. On the premise of happiness, I think money is an auxiliary tool to increase the happiness index. Although money is not omnipotent. But money can bring happiness index in a wide range. In their respective life difficulties, people are more eager for money. So balance the relationship between the two, otherwise happiness may be fleeting.
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: Most Memorable Movie Moment on: August 06, 2021, 06:58:07 AM
"The Silence of the Lambs"
This is not only a detective film, but also a psychoanalytic film. The film processing, background music and some violent scenes of this film made me feel thrilling and made me feel very nervous.
In the film, the psychological activity of female police officer Clarice is vividly realized, and therefore the character won the Oscar queen title for the second time.
