I have another idea: make a weekly contest, and the winner of the week takes all the money. Or maybe even daily.
Better idea for sure.
I scored 40 once, but my average is prety low. I would only lose btc. Every.Single.Time.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All top 4 brands of the world are involved in Bitcoin ! on: September 04, 2014, 04:29:39 PM
Mcdonalds for bitcoin? When did this happen?! I certainly have missed something.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014: The Worst Year for BTC? on: September 04, 2014, 04:27:21 PM
It's only a matter of time, in some months bitcoin will rise again but no one can predict if it will be in this year on in the 2015.

Agreed here. Bitcoin is such an unpredictable thing.

Mining Bytecoin is profitable today, isn't it?
Of course,  Mining Bytecoin is profitable. If it didn't bring any benefit, then it wouldn't be such a huge community that supports this currency

Bytecoin has the largest community among the  all alternative cryptocurrencies as far as I know, but I'm not sure.

If not the largest then one of the largest. Still significant.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Major update NOW! on: August 14, 2014, 04:46:30 PM
Guys who have Twitter!

Bytecoin can get into the book. Let's write a few comments about our CryptoNote protocol and our unique features!

Will do!

The fact the they chose twitter as the main platform for news may seem weird, but i accept it. Guess now  i have to get an account there.

My friends, we got a message from Dstrange!

Hi, guys!

We've setup an IRC channel - #bytecoin-dev , where you are able to talk to Bytecoin developers live.
This IRC chanel was launched in order to troubleshoot BCN-related problems and provide guidance about its solving.
In case you need technical support, feel free to join it!

You are also welcomed to discuss CryptoNote technology and Bytecoin how-to there.

Best regards,
David Miller

Follow Bytecoin on Twitter and you will know about all the news.  Wink https://twitter.com/Bytecoin_BCN

I see bytecoin is expanding its horizons on the internet. Good… good….

I am curious how much money did Monero developers spend to get XMR to the 2nd place at hitbtc?

ME TOO!!  STILL CANT GET OVER IT, SO UNFAIR! Thank you for bringing it up though, maybe now we will get the answer...?

I doubt it.
Should be more than our mediafund has for now.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: July 15, 2014, 08:05:05 AM
I realised that developers show us their nicknames instead of names  Cool: http://bytecoin.org/happy-birthday-bytecoin

What? When did they manage to change it? And... why?
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: July 14, 2014, 07:35:55 AM
They understand and continue to implement something that hasn't been peer reviewed? That's called "bad cryptography", you dumbass.

rude.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin [BCN] vs MONERO [XMR] who will be the winner in the Cryptonote War on: July 13, 2014, 05:30:32 PM
Me too. I was in love with XMR, but last two weeks literally convinced me to change my mind. It's become clear for me that XMR devs are scams

Seems like somebody did some research. Nice to see you here. Welcome to BCN community!
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin media fund - CALL TO ARMS! on: July 13, 2014, 05:21:28 PM
Got some spare BCN and gonna give it to the media fund!
I support the idea and wish you good luck, take my 600k!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: July 03, 2014, 09:04:17 AM
I totally agree that BCN devs have already changed crypto currency world history by creating the best CN-based coin.
True anonymity coin which, I am sure, is going to become a Bitcoin of the second generation

More like alt-bitcoin  Smiley
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin [BCN] vs MONERO [XMR] who will be the winner in the Cryptonote War on: July 03, 2014, 09:01:16 AM
Monero does not deserve to be compared with Bytecoin. Seems like the only two things Monero developers are able to do are copying and then pasting. What an impressive set of skills huh? Also Monero-supporters are well-known for spreading fud on this forum.

Oh, by the way, have you seen Monero's "official site" ? Looks like a five-year-old made it.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xmining Pool [BCN/MRO/FCN/QCN/XDN/BBR] CryptoNote Mining Pool on: July 03, 2014, 08:13:23 AM
How about adding Moneta Verde https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=657820.40 ?  Its simular to Fantomcoin, so why not?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: June 25, 2014, 04:57:10 PM

Those stars are unfair Sad

New Bytecoin Community Website is launched

Bytecoin (BCN) Community Website was officialy launched today! It was made to bring all information concerning the BCN cryptocurrency and people around it at one place. Here you can learn more about BCN specifications and history at the "About" section, read the latest Bytecoin news at the "News" tab and see BCN price, difficulty and hashrate changes at the "Charts" (this tab is under constuction now). If you need help with BCN software installation, mining, trading or anything else, you are welcomed to visit "Guides" section. And all useful links are collected in the "Links" tab.

Enjoy the website and stay tuned with us!

http://bytecoiner.org/

Great website! The 'About' page does everything it can to make the coin mysterious as far as it can, to the extent of mentioning Cicada 3031 Grin

Looks great, what about adding a forum or something?

I really like the website too. But im not sure if it needs a forum... i mean we are all fine here. There can be a page for feedback and questions for example.
