21  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WAIT LIST!] 0.9 OR LESS ~ BPMC "BLUE FURY" 2.7 GH/s USB MINER! SSINC GB#9! on: October 17, 2013, 06:24:48 PM
Well we already missed one difficulty increase and it looks like we will have another before they are in our hands. Not your fault you can't ship what you don't have but ouch.

Next week means by the 26th so maybe by Nov 1 in our hands?

Correct, I'll ship all the orders as soon as they are in hand so exact delivery depends on your location and the type of shipping you chose but it should be 1-3 business days.

Beastlymac is working on a compensation plan for everyone that receive units from this Batch #1 group buy. I'll notify everyone as soon as he announces it.

I would be open to a buy one get one free situation applied retroactively to existing orders Smiley
22  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: October 14, 2013, 08:42:46 PM
Not going to be much help in terms of troubleshooting, but i tried 0.2.4 PR1 and found that it wouldn't detect my usb wireless card like the previous version did. not sure what all changed to cause that. also would like to note, using 2.3a, cgminer doesn't seem to work with my ztex. keeps saying there are hardware errors and removes and readds the ztex device as a new one. bfgminer seems to work fine so i have switched to that.
23  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [115 Th] 50BTC.com - PPS|Stratum+Vardiff|Port 80|QIWI,Yandex,Mobile,WM... on: October 12, 2013, 01:25:46 AM
We have two news today:

Firstly, due to constantly increasing of network hashrate, we set the minimal difficulty to 4. It will reduce network traffic and will not affect users earnings.

Secondly, getwork moves to a dedicated server. If you want to use getwork protocol, you should set

From October 18th the following servers will use only stratum protocol:
pool.50btc.com
pool-de.50btc.com
pool-us.50btc.com
pool-ru.50btc.com

This servers will be available for miners who use getwork protocol:
gw.50btc.com
pool2.50btc.com
pool80.50btc.com

Best regards, 50BTC.com team!

Perhaps you should update your website to list stratum instructions?
24  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Solo mining with BFGMiner and Bitcoin-Qt and BE's - Am I doing this right? on: October 11, 2013, 01:31:34 PM
here is what i have setup for do solo.

bitcoin.conf
Code:
server=1
rpcuser=USRNAME
rpcpassword=RANDOMPASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8332

Then for bfgminer i have my bitcoind address (localhost in this example) with the username and password in the bitcoin.conf. seems to work...

Hi,
Why doesn't the mass ( all users ) get a point of view from the moderators and owners?
They are directly involved

Involved with what, and what is it you want my POV on? I don't care about mining, and I rarely read that sub forum.

I think this forum should be named becomes a Democratic Republic Of Bitcoin (like Democratic Republic Of Congo) where in theory there is democracy, but nobody has seen it

I think you need to read the sticky in this section....

All threads created should be about custom mining hardware, its operation, or its production (including the companies making it or the technology involved).  Generally the subject matter should be boring— technical, procedural, dry things. We're talking about custom hardware for mining here, not civil rights or awesome rock concerts.

take this topic to meta, please.

They should also move a lot more message of companies that promise many things and sweep the competition that really if they manufacture.

What exactly does that mean?
