"I thought I won the fight, he didn't do anything," Pacquiao said. "I got him many times with a lot of punches."- Manny Pacquiao.

It was pretty evenly matched, though Floyd was the better fighter. They should do a rematch since he has one fight left on his contract.

Manny is fighting for God and his country while Mayweather is fighting for his money and fame. now tell me, who's the real champion?

No. They were both fighting for the same thing: Money.
24  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who do you think will win? (Boxing) on: May 04, 2015, 07:24:28 PM

The fight was boring. Business is bussiness as usual.
$150M+ for floyd and $100M+ for Manny.

It was only ever all about the money. The fight was disappointing and was pretty evenly matched. They should probably do a rematch since Floyd has 1 fight left on his contract as it'd be the biggest payday he'll get over all the other boxers he could fight. Might as well give the dissapointed fans another chance to see a decent fight.

Or, like anywhere else, you use a third party that handles that trust for you.

Right, like Coinbase and Cirlce right?

What about my private keys?

Oh wait, they don't exist with a third party service....

I don't think this is relevant. You're complaining that you wont control your private keys but you're making a purchase so you're letting go of your private keys any way. Coinbase and Circle are just the medium. You send the coins to them and they send the fiat straight to the merchant. It's no different than using visa or mastercard and I'm afraid even with bitcoin to actually use it to pay for anything you have got to trust someone somewhere whether you're buying something online or in the real world.

Sorry but confirmation is what makes things rock solid.
In fact 2 confirmations minimum IMO.

Anyone working with 0 confirmations is prone to get ripped off.

Please stop spreading misinformation. 0 confirmations are ok for most things

Please keep your thoughts to your self.

0 confirmations IS NOT OK UNLESS your buying a pack of chewing gum and the shop owner don't mind loosing $1.
When you do REAL trades confirmations are crucial to the success of your trade.

Please go read some more.
Thank you  Smiley

Why would it be ok for a dollar transaction but not larger ones? If it's a problem then it's a problem. Once the payment has been sent and the seller gets acknowledgement of that then it's as good as confirmed, but shops will use payment processors most likely. You can do a 'chargeback' or the card could be stolen and payment processors protect against this.

Personally I think that ALL transactions should have atleast 1 confirmation, but when you work in a place selling, I don't know, chewing gum, you wouldn't worry about it that much.
BUT, if you sold house appliances or video games, you would definetly wait for the confirmations.

Well like I said previously that's where payment processors will come in and guarantee against any problems, but how often do double spends actually happen? How would someone wanting to buy a pack of chewing gum achieve that? They'd send the money from their phone and the shop would get acknowledgment of that on their client and then what? I'm not sure how a double spend could be achieved in this circumstance.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem with Bitcoin adoption on: April 27, 2015, 09:15:24 AM
These articles have been shot down several times already. They're usually written by either angry feminists or white knights (usually the latter). Women are involved in bitcoin but it's to be expected that there are far fewer than men. There are far fewer women chess players and architects etc but that doesn't mean anything.

You wont get much for betting on just a straight win for Floyd so you might as well go with the underdog or bet on something else like Knockdowns.

I think it's going to be an interesting fight and I think Floyd is more nervous as he's got more to lose.

I put a bet on Manny to be knocked down at some point during the fight. Pretty good odds at an enhanced special of 5/1. I think he will get knocked down at one point but I could see the fight going all the way or Floyd winning by KO in the later stages.
31  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Pacquiao vs Mayweather - online stream in HD? anyone? on: April 27, 2015, 08:46:53 AM
BoxNation doesn't have it on their schedule. Probably the HBO/Showtime PPV channels that have licensed the fight want to exclusively stream it live, so nobody else legally can. If you wait a week, it might be reaired on HBO/Showtime regular channels, streaming, on-demand...

I'm guessing he wants to watch it live. If not just wait till shortly after the fight and the rips will be online within the hour likely much less. People sell HBO accounts on this forum so maybe try buy one of them instead.

Here on Pakistan most of my friends wants Pacquiao to win.

Many people want Manny to win because he's the underdog but he's also more likeable and humble, wheras Mayweather is arrogant. I honestly couldn't say who's going to win but that will make the fight even more interesting. I could see it going the full 12 rounds, though.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Startcoin, another Max Keiser scam is happening. on: April 25, 2015, 12:27:11 PM
lol Keiser is only a clown

I'm very familiar with this twitter :/ who he really is ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Keiser

I guess he's a economist / financial pundit / cryptotroll  Cheesy.

This Max Keiser scammer is using Russel Brand to pump his shit coin again. Can't believe this guy, reminds me to his dirty tricks with Quark and Maxcoin. Now the useless Startcoin is his next pump n dump scam.

where has he used brand, you have any links, ive seen him mention it in front of brand briefly.

Just search on youtube for Keiser Russell Brand and it'll be the latest videos. Brand has been on Keiser's show a few times but he never mentioned it then.

Everything was created by someone.

What created your god?

Humans. We have a penchant for selling bullshit and others buying it throughout time. Sadly it still continues to this day.
38  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God doesn't exist? on: April 22, 2015, 09:36:22 PM
You can't prove or disprove something that doesn't exist. I can't prove unicorns don't, but obviously they don't exist because nobody has ever seen one or has any evidence for one and only an idiot would believe that one exists, much like people who believe in god  Cheesy.

Giant black holes on Earth is something that can't exist. It can be proved that it cannot exist. Smiley

Comeon, bud, you can prove anything. Cheesy

That isn't relevant to his point. You've just made a completely irrelevant argument. Besides, surely magical skygods or wizzard zombie jews who can walk on water can't exist either due to the laws of physics? Can you tell me how you can prove anything? You said you believe in god but you cannot show proof and neither can someone prove that he doesn't.

Coldplay - Atlas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh3TokLzzmw

Wish this was on their last album and not just The Hunger Games soundtrack. It's actually one of my favorite songs by them.
