Is mining supposed to be working at this point? I'm on the absolute latest release and still not hitting a thing (and never have)... this thing has more forks than a buffet. It's a daily chore to keep on top of the multi-day client releases. Shall I just check out for a few months and wait for things to get sorted? When do we think we'll actually have a stable network here? Each release is like ... "yeah okay got it, we're good... no wait! mining disabled... okay re-enabled, no blacklisted, disabled..." it's labor intensive for me and not worth the money if I rate my hourly wage here...
I recognize that real projects take real time, but you guys shouldn't promise a release until you are _really_ ready. It will likely irrevocably damage the project's reputation. Write some more test cases and test the network before releasing it.

Yeah this is really vague. Your website suggests the coins are for this specific movie, and prior verbage in this thread suggests it's for future films as well. How are those funded? Are tokens liquidated to pay for films on secondary markets? Are they bought back from secondary markets with profits from the films? If the films are not profitable how are the losses socialized? This needs a ton more detail about the mechanics of the finance model. If it's just for this one film I think it will be a disaster because if you require people to get in to cryptos to view a film (requiring them to buy "tickets" with ether) that is likely going to be modest viewing audience anyway all you are doing is guaranteeing the film will fail financially because of the barrier to entry.
I'm not trying to troll you or be negative, but I feel at this point you are asking for way too much for investors without providing nearly enough details. Crowdfunding stuff is cool, but I think at this point you can't consider this anything more than a kickstarter and not really a prospectus for investors looking for return on their capital (and maybe that's okay for folks willing to "donate" to make some indy films).

CoP folks (if you read this thread often) As you are probably well aware BTC tx'es are seriously backlogged. It took 3+ days to confirm a tx I sent to your crowdfunding campaign. The intermediary broker for your token sale said addresses expire after 24 hours. Now what? Thanks.

What is the total amount of STORJ
500M XCP tokens. Only 10% of the coins are in circulation, be mindful of that when you use a storage coin as a "store of value". I think the investment round will be _great_ for Storj Labs, but for SJCX? Harder to say... if the coin is too expensive folks won't want to use it over a centralized storage solution. A project like this seems great for end users, more dubious for "investors".

Hey guys think a friend and I found a bug in 0.8.2 Paymetheus heads up:
If there is a $ in the password for the private passphrase protecting the wallet.db it throws an RPCException for "invalid passphrase for master key" when you try to spend funds or buy tickets, etc.
We were able to convince ourselves of this as we recreated the wallet.db file from the seed from scratch and removed that character from the password. Not sure if this is a unicode thing or escaped char regex thing or what, but thought I'd relay that.

Hey guys.... I tried using the site at swarm.city but none of the existing ARC token swap methods work for me as I believe it's because I hold my ARC in MyEthereWallet... what are the options for people like me with ARC in an Ethereum based wallet like Parity or MyEthereWallet? Thanks.
I saw that at the moment, you can use your mew private key in the terminal. Create a new profile, choose the convert option, then choose the following option, and enter your private my ethereum wallet key : Call me paranoid / crazy but I just don't get the warm and fuzzies dropping my Eth private key in to a centralized web wallet when it contains other assets aside from Arc. Is there a point where we can redeem ARC for SWT via a smart contract we can send coins to? That would make me feel a lot better If that is the case I'll just wait for that, if not, I'll have to weight the risks to rewards...

Hey guys, using the 0.8.0 release with Paymetheus Standalone (launches dcrd itself it seems)...
Whenever I try to buy tickets through Paymetheus (using a stakepool I configured in the background), I get -22: TX rejected...transaction output 0: payment of ... is dust.
Seems like maybe it's trying to use a utxo that is too small? I sent a tiny tx as my first tx to this wallet to test migrating from wallet.decred.org to Paymetheus. Any ideas?
0.8.2-beta Paymetheus has solved this problem for me FWIW

I think VPNcoin dev has done as Satoshi did, and he disappear to protect his identity. This is wise, getting caught organising VPN software in China would be BIG problem.
I too getting lots of connections, so the wallet has many users still.
Yes, as you know "VPN software in China would be BIG problem", We will upgrate VpnCoin and add "zero-knowledge proof". Do you mean the zero knowledge proof features would be in addition to existing VPN functions? That would make a great coin indeed! Yes, we will add zero knowledge proof features to VpnCoin. Will you be using the trusted setup from Z-cash? Or will you create your own? This was also a concern for Komodo who opted to use Z-cash's trusted setup (which included Peter Todd and Zooko Wilcox).

I believe this has already been asked to some extent, but if we buy more than one package, and associate it to the same E-mail as prior packages, will we get multiple token redemption (I assume DTB will be additive) after the crowd sale? e.g. two silvers = two rookie token redemptions for the same E-mail.

Does anyone know if there is an equivilent of -datadir (this did not appear to work but usually does in 80% of QT wallets anyway) for iguana? I would like to keep the metadata (I use light mode) on my encrypted NFS storage.

Let me apologize in advance for my n00b question here... beta GUI wallet has a December'ish date. If I use the monerod in the XMR beta gui I'm okay with the RingCT fork? Don't feel like downloading that for a week to find out I ended up on the wrong fork. I have the back end LMDB over nfs so it's going to take me a while...
