21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying real estate with Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 01:10:12 PM
I think there are regulations to be set for that matter. There are sales tax to be considered and I guess government will look into it. Well, if that will happen I think its more convenient for bitcoin earners. But for now, I guess its too early to tell about it. The adoptation is not yet in full capacity.

It's not a practical way of spending your bitcoin while adoption in full capacity wasn't reached yet. We should think of a better ways to handle our asset, because btc is already considered an established currency. The value has been showing a potential stability, so then it's very important to treasure it.
Taxation is always applied particularly when it discussed a out property, a huge dump will tend to occur if you're going to convert digital currency to fiat cash, because real estate was truly expensive.
22  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 24, 2020, 11:57:52 AM
There's now way to identify these guys on when they're trying to enter the market. I don't see any possible reason for them to take the good moves, since it was difficult to analyze while crypto price has no stable increase. Most traders was hesitant when price gains a fewer percentage and suddenly crashes down.
One thing I would like to see now for possible whales to take actions, if there's a huge bounce maybe that's the good signs and we won't see any portion of reds on our blockfolio.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nice Increase in Price but What Next?? on: January 24, 2020, 11:22:18 AM
The price of bitcoin today is very unpredictable so be careful always to invest and don't buy bitcoin when it is at a high price it is best to observe first and make sure we are in the right timing to buy bitcoin. Because this will give us a huge profit.

I can see some folks buying bitcoin as an asset when they see it starts to gain some price increase, but it was totally a reversed mindset because it doesn't went profitable when they're unfortunate during price starts to crash badly. That's right we will potentially gain huge profit when we're going to purchase bitcoin at lower price when it dips in value.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Cost $ 25,000 by 2021? on: January 24, 2020, 09:54:11 AM
Bitcoin prices are going up and down these days. People are hopeful that the price of Bitcoin may well go up by 2021. Bitcoin has been legalized in a number of countries, due to which Bitcoin prices are now recovering. If the price of Bitcoin goes up to 25,000 by 2020, it will be very difficult to buy.

You don't need to worry even though in the future the price of bitcoin is getting more expensive and reaching a price of $ 25k you can still buy it in small quantities or satoshi 0.00. by using $ 100 you can already buy bitcoin. and in my opinion right now is the right time to buy. because the price of bitcoin is down. but I'm not sure bitcoin will reach $ 25k this year. my prediction is that bitcoin will reach $ 16k this year.

That price of $16k is possible to be reached this year, but I don't think we're moving out with the bearish market. Even though we're positive enough with what predictions we had, it's always certain to be patient while waiting for the right time. Accurate value seems doesn't seems to be effective, just expect $10k until the end of 2020 and just be surprised if it goes beyond what's predicted.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: January 23, 2020, 12:56:17 PM
This is going to be big specially for Casimero. Going to be interesting what will be the odds but for sure the monster will be the favorite here. I'm giving a slight chance for an upset for Casimero here, who knows, he has that one punch KO that might caught the monster off-guard.

Who knows Casimero will bring pride to his country sooner, and same as Pacquiao's footsteps I think he will come up with a strong foundation with his boxing career towards fighting a lot of foreign opponents which will be hit by his winning punches.
Bantamweight division is quite tough for him, so we will see what will happen in his coming fights.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 11:00:52 AM
I had a discussion with my parents earlier, saying that they want to start operating our milk tea food cart. We had the cart ready, materials for making the milk tea and so on. Instead of waiting for June or July until the new school building opens, we decided to put our business in a mall rather than the school sooner than later.

My dad was a traditional business style guy. He kept failing because of not being creative and innovative, and sometimes ignoring my suggestions and advice. However, this time, since I am into crypto and blockchain industry, he was thinking about displaying a Bitcoin QR code.

In the city that I lived, there were no businesses yet who accept Bitcoin payments. They do have QR codes, but mostly from a centralized provider and not crypto-related.

I already have my mom's Bitcoin wallet verified, and may need to upgrade it to a Business account as it needs business permit and other requirements necessary. It'll be used for the business anyways.

I think this is going to be a worthwhile experiment, and a great way to start letting people aware about Bitcoin. Maybe I should put some creative promos for those who will buy milk tea using Bitcoin. What do you guys think?

Hopefully this is a good start for everybody who has the option to use their money in virtual ways, as bitcoin does. The convenience and fast transactions will be the most efficient strategy to handle your funds on physical goods. Not just with milk tea or any other beverages, but also with restaurant and fast-food chains which you can use your mobile phone scanned through barcodes and Bitcoin transactions will be the modern edge technology of payment.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air, Water, Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 10:08:00 AM
Without air and water life no worka.

P2P commerce is also essential.

Past human history is checkered with currency manipulation and conflict..

Enter a new element for humanity; trustless p2p currency, globally decentralized...

Something humanity has been craving since the dawn of human history.

 Cool
don't forget the existence of the sun.
all need and interdependence with one another to produce amazing things.
crypto and FIAT are 2 different types but are side by side despite a lot of friction.

This is somewhat a scientific approach towards physical matter and with human created digital currency. With fiat it's the same with an existence of the sun, water, and air we can see it and feel it physically.
Bitcoin as virtual currency won't be seen if there's no running power from electrical energy, and when everything was starting up at 100% energy, there it goes blockchain network will operates infinitely.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any gambling site that allows betting directly from the wallet? on: January 23, 2020, 05:43:03 AM
I don't think any of such wallets exists. If does exists, the platform must have full access to your wallet, that is it must have access to your private keys. Do you really think your funds would be safe in such case? Someone else having access to your private keys means you are no longer the only sole owner. The gambling site might scam and take away your coins anytime they wish. What is wrong with depositing your coins to an online casino wallet?

On that situation with the gambling site that potentially scam people, I guess it we should trust this kind of deal. Full access on our wallet should be done privately for a desired user, and there's must be no third parties involved.
All I can suggest is never store a deposited coins at casino wallet, use it with definite purpose during the game. If you won, then always make sure you'll withdraw it right away to avoid being scammed.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: January 22, 2020, 11:47:52 AM
There’s a new regulation for gamblers who reside in UK i.e. from April 14th, 2020 you’ll can’t use your credit cards for online gambling. Now on paper this rule does seem harsh, but when I read their reasoning behind this decision I felt they have taken the right approach and it’ll help UK’s citizens. The key reason why I’m saying that this decision is correct because this move shall force people to gamble only with the money they have, but I’m sure many will not like this decision hence you’ll can post below and tell the community why you didn’t like this decision.

Source:

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-51103006
I am not in the UK so this does not affect me however this seems to make sense, this will bother me if the restriction was on debit cards as well since that will mean they are restricting you to use your money as you want in something that is legal, but since this is about credit cards and the money you can get from them is not yours to begin with and it needs to be repaid to the bank then it makes sense they have a say on what you can do with that money.

Totally agree that till the time it does not effect the debit cards system and you can play using debit cards it should be fine beacuse playing gambling through credit is like playing on someone else money . But now we would like to see does this have a cascading effect on other countries too .

It's not a problem actually, because as long as a player who used the credit card is capable enough to pay for his debts, using credit card on gambling isn't a big deal. That only needs to be managed according to the limit of the credit to avoid having out of funds on your account at any gambling site.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do cryptocurrencies diversify each other? on: January 22, 2020, 10:23:06 AM
As many people know, cryptocurrencies are extremely correlated with each other. When Bitcoin goes up everything goes up and the other way around.

Does it make sense to buy a portfolio or should we just hold Bitcoin?

I've just posted an article on Medium analyzing diversification benefits! What do you think?

https://medium.com/velvet-capital/cryptocurrencies-not-only-diversify-other-assets-they-diversify-each-other-4266eee074ec?source=friends_link&sk=0ff4a0fa7a83eca9966fad28a2da303f
Hmm for me it is best if you buy a cryptocurrency that would best fit for you and also what you are usually using like for example bitcoin. If you are going to ask me in which coin I am using, I preffered to choose bitcoin. I dont use any other coins except bitcoin because for me it is the best coin and it has the highest value for me.

On my idea about using bitcoin all alone, that would be unexpected yet when time comes it could reached the highest value. After that we needed to divert on other coins to acquire possible profit, while btc price seems to be stabilized at any moment. For now, it's good to focus with bitcoin and somehow diverting with other promising one would be a good options.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 22, 2020, 09:40:26 AM
A new year and new hope of adopting blockchain and cryptos around the world. Millions of traders or investors are on this Digital Asset Market already.

A good number of people are coming on this market everyday. What are the challenges, regular issues or problems for the traders or investors during investing? Security, High Risk, Scammers, Hackers etc. can be the problems. What do you think?

Dealing with the market's volatility is one of the hardest things being encountered by most traders and investors which only needs continuous learning. Hackers will always be there no matter what and it's for us to adjust and to avoid them. We could be smart enough to get rid of them. The market itself isn't perfect and there will always be lapses but things will depend on how we handle all the risks and problems that we might be facing.

Avoiding things can be a stressful ways of managing the risk of our trading. This isn't an easy task to do while you're in the midst of the pressures, that's why learning more ample ways in controlling emotions must be practiced.
Being smart isn't just doing an actions aggressively, but by taking action in a very smooth and step by step process.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does the ETH/BTC ratio present a trading opportunity ? on: January 21, 2020, 07:52:29 AM
Whatever your views on Ethereum, the fact is that the value of ETH to BTC is still very low ( even compared to historical performance ). Does this present a trading opportunity to perhaps buy more Bitcoin for your dollar ? ( By buying ETH and when the ratio goes up trade it for Bitcoin ? ) - There is some insight on this here : https://youtu.be/hY2m0HtAw7g

keeping in view the bearish trend, I think if you are looking for long term investment then its perfectly fine to buy eth at this price since eth has the potential to go way up in the long but for short term traders this price is a bit high. since market is already coming back and I think we will have bearish market once again.

We can't stop the trend of bearish market while there's no sufficient demand that could trigger bullrun, in order to correct the latest price movements. There's an opportunity in every dipping of eth and btc value, so to have the chance of accumulating more holding, don't ignore minor dumps. Grab every single opportunity in order to acquire huge profit.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin ideas do you have? Share it! on: January 21, 2020, 02:56:41 AM
It is not always easy to promote bitcoin to people, one should first have the influence or to become popular, in order to attract mass adoption through public speaking. But considering the fact the we aren't all popular, the only means of us promoting bitcoin is through personal interactions with people. Though, I consider it not a hindrance because if each and evry one of us will try to pursue convincing people, we can grow, develop.and achieve adoption.

My way of introducing bitcoin is through selling prepaid loads with payment through bitcoin.

Those method is helpful in promoting bitcoin with your friends who is interested in cryptocurrency. Proper understanding will define it by using digital currency for our personal consumption. Adoption will grow in demand, and not just using prepaid load but there will be more incoming plans to pursue once other services will be implemented like buying products from convenience store.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: Backbone analogy for BTC current & future price movements on: January 20, 2020, 01:45:09 PM
Quote
After the halving, demand will double the previous supply & maybe triple

Not sure where you get those stats from.

I get what you're saying and I think there is some rational truth to it - the fact that there is likely some hard support at a price level x that is increasing over time due to the fact that there is more adoption base, more institutional use, coupled with the fact that there is no significant inflation that occurs in BTC terms.

But at the end of the day the model you describe is way too arbitrary and seems reliant on speculation for long term price growth, which we know is not true.

In that scenario of several adoption occurrence for btc, the speculations would results to positive impact on cryptocurrency? Or was that a hearsay which part of the manipulators way on deceiving many people to be attracted with price movements. Nowadays, the whales wasn't engaged with crypto yet due to many problems that hinders the increase  of each asset.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲 Introducing Luckydice.com 🎲🔥 - ⭐Jackpot⭐Cashback⭐Faucet⭐ on: January 20, 2020, 12:55:35 PM
All we know that dice game is the most popular game here in crypto world and this site has a very good features that they make different from other dice gaming site because they focus on technology and innovation of a typical dice game that other site that will offer. They have also different mechanics that unlike other that only rolling the dice to win.

I loved the features in dice game compared with other fund games that every gamblers mostly played. Rolling the dice doesn't need skills, what you must have here was expectations of getting lucky sets of results. Crypto betting of this game is really awesome, since gambling has a definite position to take good benefit whether it's a luck or fun experience.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: January 19, 2020, 12:36:04 PM
I think you should buy bitcoin soon. because it seems like this year bitcoin will be bull run. because since these two weeks bitcoin has continued to increase at this time the value has reached $ 9k. but some say bitcoin might dump at Chinese New Year. let's wait if bitcoin is dumped then I think this will be the last chance to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price. because after bitcoin is reduced by half I think the price will continue to rise.

By now it must be a hot demand to consider on many potential buyers, though it wasn't transparent to determine which of them are really seeking bitcoin as a strong asset; they prefer to stay anonymous. We don't know when they'll strike the best target, just to partake the cheapest buying price.
37  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Night @ Sportsbet (Private game exclusively for forum members) on: January 19, 2020, 11:21:38 AM
Now you have a numbers feeling can you say how long this feels like it will take to run?

Difficult to say how long the tournament will last but with around 20 users (if really so many appear), still it wouldnt last too long I guess - also depends on how berserk we go! Cheesy

Let's expect that it would take longer, because 20 users take more time to play. We're not sure yet that it would not take too long since that it was dependent on the mode of their set play. Hopefully there's an accurate time frame in order to estimate the possible frequency of the game.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alternatives Like BTC Becomes Necessary As World Debt Reaches $253 Trillion on: January 19, 2020, 12:35:38 AM
What would you think about this guys? Do you honestly think Bitcoin is gonna be the best alternative choice in this situation?
As we predicted, world debt will continue to swell. But I don't really understand the purpose of Bitcoin as an alternative when world debt swells. We know that the Bitcoin utility can be an alternative payment and can deposit a value. But I still haven't gotten points about how and why Bitcoin is needed when the world is in debt. Can anyone explain?

In my point of view about that, if people would divert their asset to the digital currency it became decentralized. Bank won't recognize it as your physical deposit, inflation rate will be lessened if fewer individuals will use fiat currency.
When government adopt on this strategy, and uses bitcoin as good alternative for storing value; holding it for years would be an assurance to solve our world debts once current value would earn higher returns.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alternate Market Cycle Thesis on: January 19, 2020, 12:14:20 AM
Quote
Because Bitcoin is well known in the world now, people will be less likely to engage in extreme FOMO when the price is shooting up because they now expect it to crash at any point, leading to smaller boom/bust cycles that take place over a quicker time period.

A counterargument can be made to this just as easily - the fact that there has been so much gains in the crypto markets over the past few years every time there has been a halving shifts people's expectations towards the right tail every time a halving is close - which means that beliefs of price growth overshoots actual long term mean price growth.

But yes, I do think that the effects of what you've described will trump.

Given a larger market cap it is way harder to have FOMO affect the markets in a substantial way (or at least, in a way close to 2017 and 2013).

That's a 4 years long term holding, which I think we need to wait for more before it's going to wait for another FOMO, if nothings going to have positive changes. However, the large market cap needs to establish a good position until further hype initiated. When you project the possible timeline would be at 2021, base in my own opinion.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 18, 2020, 01:30:07 PM
full time trading would be profitable for me maybe if only the market was so bullish. because i am not an expert and the market is very dynamic. volatility is too high. so if you are not enough good to follow everything it is very risky to make full time trading.
There's always an exciting emotion when volatile market was present during market value fluctuations. It would be profitable once, there's a continuous increase during spikes happened. Active buy and sell activities won't make it boring because everything is somehow a potential gains. Risking on the asset that we're certain won't be worthless, just choose which of them are trustworthy.
