21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: September 21, 2015, 06:43:06 PM

He admits to what he's done in his book. Doesn't sound like someone trying to hide something. I'm not saying he is a great guy, but anyone could read the book and judge for themselves.

Serious question here stan.

It is looking like banx shares is running a scam.

What kind of due dillagence are you guys doing to vet some of these people?

You should be happy that they are willing to be on the Bitshares blockchain. This will provide more transparency for BANX. If they have something to hide then being on the Bitshares platform will make it a lot harder.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many people will die because of the Bitshares Corporate Fascists/Communists? on: September 13, 2015, 11:03:22 AM
I come to realize that DE is the strongest believer in Bitshares success. Even with the flaws he perceives that it has, he truly believes that Bitshares will take over the world. He has spent months in this forum letting everyone know how powerful DPOS and Bitshares are. Even with these perceived flaws he believes Bitshares will be more influential than Bitcoin/NXT and all other cryptos. I can't help but admire that confidence and dedication. I have been with Bitshares since the PTS and I thought it could only go to the moon. No one has worked harder to let everyone know Bitshares will go beyond the moon and leave the solar system or even the Galaxy! So I just want to say keep up the great work of letting everyone know just how powerful the Bitshares concept is so it can take over the world!
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Bitshares Greed on: June 23, 2015, 10:59:57 PM

Its funny how DE and Newmine always seem to omit the fact about all PTS being returned to the donors

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,11289.0.html

Are you retarded? They gave it back after they share dropped the BTS on themselves rendering the PTS worthless at the time they returned it. Stop selling lies or get your facts straight.

Oh my Gawd! How dare the value PTS change overtime. It was suppose to remain the exact same like all other cryptos do!

Trolls only know how to troll. Its what they do.

DE doesn't understand the concepts of iteration and innovation. That's why his arguments are stale and stuck. He can not outgrow his own initial thoughts which keeps him stuck in the past. I have heard broken records that have more innovation than DE.

You could consider using the Play blockchain which is designed to do just what you are thinking of.

30  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody know a site where i can invest some bitcoins..? on: April 06, 2015, 06:44:51 PM
Hi everyone

Is there a website where i can invest some BTC and get good interest on a monthly basis (won't mind if the interest is low).

I have heard about Btcjam. They say investors can get 18.54% from their investment.

Let say...If i invest 0.004 Btc in Btcjam.....What will i get in return..? It say 18.54% so can anyone calculate this for me..?

You should invest in BitAssets on Bitshares, they pay interest and track the value of real assets. Check the links below

Where is BitShares??
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are those Bitshares' Shills? on: March 17, 2015, 08:08:13 PM

Right now if you add up all the BitAssets(bitusd, bitgold, etc) they are worth approximately $620,000. BTS would have to fall to under $2mill in order for people not to be able to get the full value of their assets back. That means there would have to be sudden 10x fall in the value of BTS in matter of hours for the system to break.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Innovatiave currencies with potential on: March 17, 2015, 05:30:55 PM

I think that Nu (NuBits, NuShares) has potential, it was the first cryptocurrency system to feature a currency kept at parity with a fiat currency. Nu uses Peercoin.

You have this backwards, Bitshares was around long before NuBits. Bitshares was started in late 2013.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitshares oligarchy rearing it's head on: February 26, 2015, 08:17:10 PM
The new Bitshares PR initiative/censorship of the Dev teams transparency and often candid posts is now in full effect. The initiative is at the order of a few "Chinese" stake holders that control large amounts of BTS. They have been angry at Bytemaster since the merger and are now threatening him with divesting and killing the BTS price if he doesn't hand over the reins to Bitshares. Since BItshares likes to call itself a company, this development is akin to a hostile corporate takeover, except that the raiding parties have the ability to kill the price in such an illiquid market. These hostiles are also contemplating a roll back or deletion of "unfairly" distributed shares, namely 30 million BTS that were given to 1 person for absolutely nothing. As I agree with the fact that the person deserves no shares that were given, this takeover and quasi black mail is a major red flag for something that is supposed to be decentralized/ distributed/democratic. This is not what a cryptocurrency is supposed to be.

NewFud(newmine) is just trying to spread FUD. Anyone who has followed BitShares for awhile understands why good PR is importing. Since BitShares has a large Eastern community it important that information is presented in a clear manner. It is very easy for something to be mis-interpreted.

I've been mining for a few weeks. The bitUSD is nice addition. Makes a nice hedge against falling btc.

I've been using it for over a month now. Works good.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NuBits are operating as a fractional reserve. on: January 17, 2015, 10:52:53 PM

Isnt' NuSharers doing exactly what the Swiss central bank was doing? Trying to artificially maintain the peg of the franc to the euro. When the euro value got so low they gave up because it was damaging the Franc. When will the NuShares holders give-up?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NuBits are operating as a fractional reserve. on: January 17, 2015, 12:28:16 AM

So what you are saying is that in the end, we have have to trust some secret guys behind closed doors to do the right thing. Sounds like another system I heard of, the FED. Luckily everyone trust the FED to do the right thing?!?
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is my crypto decentralized? on: January 12, 2015, 10:30:05 PM
Question:

Is it economically feasible to a mine in POW without joining a pool?
Is it economically feasible to join a pool that has less than 10% of the hashing power?

If it is not feasible then altruism is the primarily factor for the majority of miners to participate in POW.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Communist Bitshares Wealth Redistribution IS THEFT! on: January 09, 2015, 07:32:37 PM
I'll catch up later, open to suggestions from the floor why BTS needs a cap if it can be changed and even be dynamic

Scaling delegates past 101 nodes would have diminishing returns. If you are assuming nodes are static servers that can't be upgraded to handle an increase in TPS then a dynamic delegate system would make sense. Since the nodes will feasibly scale and be upgraded as technology progresses the extra nodes just add extra cost with no real benefits. If a particular node can't handle the load they will be replaced by voting them out and 102nd delegate by votes will replace them.
