You could easily avoid this problem by providing a letter of guarantee. A rogue tor node won't be able to sign a message with an address, that is under your control. This doesn't solve anything: if the rogue Tor node change a deposit address, they can also sign a Letter of Guarantee from any address under their control, and display said address as the "official" one. Just use .onion if you use Tor. No. You did not understand what I said. Here is an ELI5... Say, I am running a mixer. I have a clearnet version as well as a .onion one. I show this address on my homepage & bitcointalk thread and declare that I'll sign a message through it as letter of guarantee - 1HRnZx1ukJ338WfcqK6T59ZEWTuzehUcu1. The letter of guarantee will contain the deposit address signed by the mixer. An user can verify whether the deposit address he/she has received through Tor browser is signed by this address, i.e. 1HRnZx1ukJ338WfcqK6T59ZEWTuzehUcu1, which itself can be cross verified by visiting the home page or bitcointalk thread on clearnet. Now, you are running a rogue Tor node and want to change the deposit address. Tell me, how can you provide a letter of guarantee containing that changed deposit address signed by the address visible on my homepage & bitcointalk thread through clearnet, i.e. 1HRnZx1ukJ338WfcqK6T59ZEWTuzehUcu1?

So like even if you're typing chipmixer.com in TOR it's still considered unsecure?
If you use Tor to contact non-Tor website (anything other than .onion services) - one of 1200 Tor Exit nodes will tell you what ChipMixer.com service said. If Tor Exit node is honest - it will tell "ChipMixer use encryption and this is data they encrypted for you" - your browser will display green lock icon. If Tor Exit node is dishonest - it will tell "ChipMixer does not use encryption and this is plain-text data with fake deposit address" - your browser will not display green lock icon. If you use Tor to contact Tor .onion website - connection is always encrypted and nobody can alter deposit address. You could easily avoid this problem by providing a letter of guarantee. A rogue tor node won't be able to sign a message with an address, that is under your control. Moreover, I believe, the use .onion address by mixing services is a farce, as long as they exist on clearnet. Users can access the clearnet domain from Tor browser. .onion primarily serves two purpose... 1. It mitigates MITM attack - If you provide letter of guarantee, MITM is not possible anymore. Because, except for the original server, no one else do have the ability to sign a message with an address, that is publicly declared on clearnet to be owned by the mixing service.2. It hides the original server - If you already have a version running on clearnet, your server is just a few clicks away from 3 letter agencies. You can keep your data encrypted though. But having an .onion address does not give users any extra benefit.

If your coins are not straight from the miner the likelihood is extremely high we all have a little piece of them.
True. But, how does Chainalysis know whether the coin is actually dirty or has a travel history from a service similar to the one in your signature?

I'll be surprised if they don't mix it before taking it to some exchange wallet.

They haven't say what will do about all this issue, i think to stop this giveaway and make a new one would be a wise desition and if he decides to move on with this image, then they will only prove how they give zero fuck about the artist, and that is not fair.
Many might get surprised, but the truth is, it is perfectly legal to edit a publicly available image and using it to a different purpose, other than it was originally intended. Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cariou_v._PrinceIf anyone of you care to check origin of the puzzle image, you'll find that it is not the high definition one sold by the artist. It is a low definition representative image readily available on Google hosted by various web portals. Moreover, in conversation with artist, CPD Project claimed that they purchased this final image from another artist, based on relevant keywords. If that is true, then they do not have any moral responsibility either, because, they paid for it themselves. In any case, if the artist still believes that using this image for puzzle is illegal, she can always move to court. But, to the best of my understanding of this issue, she has a lost case here.

I've always found it amusing how Roger Ver, who styles himself some "high-powered CEO", seems to get so worked up about little old me, a 4chan troll at heart who admits to having essentially zero personal ambition.
A multi-millionaire, or probably a billionaire, with zero personal ambition! Welcome to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

BlockTrades.us is showing the following notification on their site... In response to upcoming regulatory changes, we now require users to create an account before they are allowed to trade with us. Your account will initially have a daily trading limit of $1750 USD, but you can increase this limit by submitting identification information via the Authorization menu. Hence, I'll suggest to replace it in OP with CoinSwitch.co.

4. Most of the games are casino related, and I noticed that there are no sports or esports. Dice, Baccarat, blackjack, etc. Now, I have a question myself to you. As a non crypto person, would you entrust your "fate" or ability to win, on an unseen algorithm that will decide for you?
What? Ever heard of the term Provably Fair? Please read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provably_fair

Theymos is more intelligent than most of the people here. He knows Trust system can not ever be perfect. But, he needs to have one to manage the unruly mob. Moreover, he has successfuly created a trust market.
How does a "trust market" benefit Theymos? I don't understand your point. I missed this question of yours. The more valuable things theymos can create in this forum, the more people will be attracted here. Why? Because they can trade those valuable things. Forum is acting like a market and theymos is the supreme authority of that market. Now, what are those valuable things created by theymos? Rank, trust and merit. As I said ~4 years ago, "Theymos is more intelligent than most of the people here."

Recently there have been many dramatic events that stem from the forum’s trust-system.
Recently? How long are you around? The very concept of DefaultTrust in an anonymous forum is fundamentally flawed. Human trust system does not work unless real world identity is at stake. Here, you really dont know whether Alice, Bob, Jeff etc. are all the same person. Most of the people in DT and the people trying to be in DT are doing it for one simple reason - To break trust and gain at some point directly or indirectly. Disagreed? Right? Tell me how many of our today's great DT members left +ve trust for Friedcat? They were mostly at the top of FC's ponzi. They all gained. But, they are still there. Same for Tradefortress and Pirate@40. These real scumbags were never kicked out of DT. Now, in the new trust system, this corrupted status quo is being challenged. This is creating a jitter among them. They are trying to circulate as much merit among the old group as possible and scathing to be a merit source to have as much as possible 250 merited alts. Some are even demanding DT to be Legendary only! The show will go on...

This concept has been tried over years in the crypto space. Trust me, it is not going to take off.
