Has already been done before, absolutely no reason that it will succeed with bitcoins. But good luck to you.

Successful Internet Webpage Rule #1: You should have no less than 4 self-taken pictures of yourself on the FAQ page for your site. If possible, dress them up with MS Paint-esque graphics for added effectiveness. Successful Internet Webpage Rule #2: State you want $1 million to go to college. Everyone loves paying for someone else to go to college, and everyone knows college costs $1 million. Ignore the fact that if you had $1 million you could instead choose to retire and not need college, ever. Successful Internet Webpage Rule #3: Think up a clever, original take on a previous idea (such as the $1 million webpage) and then make it completely unoriginal (by still having the webpage cost exactly $1 million USD but paid for in bitcoins, instead of, say, calling it the 10k bitcoin webpage and ignoring the current exchange rate of bitcoin to USD) Overall grade: A+! (Just having some fun... )

If you want it to succeed, then
1) learn basic design principles 2) redesign the site properly 3) get rid of all personality whatsoever. for example, no one wants to see you saying paper money stinks with a cheesy picture on a poorly formatted page with generic overlain courier text.
source: i am a professional designer and run a web design company that I founded and own. over 10 years of experience.
p.s. everything above the search box at the top is pretty good. good logo and color scheme. but everything below the search box, is complete crap. hard truth. oh, and the home page is pretty good too. don't change that.

If you want it to succeed, and ride the bitcoin train then - don't let the word "Dollar" appear anywhere...! Is it bitcoin focused or fiat focused? If fiat then bitcointalk is the wrong place

This site is truly to raise money to getting on my feet from the tough times I have had. And being able to help others around me. Positivity is the only way to go.

Likely why you are going through tough times. You believe that others should be helping you or should be helped instead of looking out for yourself until you are financially stable.

why not make this actually interesting and different. in the bitcoin world you can DO MORE and fully automate it.
Here is an idea
how about making it firstly affordable, say 10 BTC for all the pixels
then allow people to 'buy' pixels for twice the previous price - with the money going to the last buyer (but say a small commission to you)
then buying a pixel can be an investment as well as advertising :-)
gamify it a bit.
take advantage of the properties of bitcoin like satoshi dice does.

Not a bad idea, but I suggest starting the pricing lower and making the site look more professional. Also I'd default the site to the actual pixel wall.

How about the Million Satoshi Home Page: Lose money on every pixel, but make it up in volume.
When the smoke clears, you'll have .01 bitcoins. When the exchange rates reaches $100,000,000/BTC, you'll have $1M--and an ugly looking website to boot (no pun intended).
