21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PND]Pandacoin | Cryptocurrency for the masses | Easy to use, buy, mine and understand | on: September 26, 2014, 03:55:15 AM
The coin needs solid buy support backing it if it's going to stay at this price.

You're quite right, I was missing the point. Thank you for the correction!

The wallet is possessive. Why would it not be "It's" rather than "Its"?

I'm no English major, please explain why this is incorrect. Just trying to help.

On the news page you posted a link to, underneath the 2.1.2 wallet update where specifics are listed: Some suggestions.

ORIGINAL TEXT:
– Wallet no longer loses its staking status when doing an action that requires a full unlock, ‘unlock for staking’ is preserved across actions.

MY SUGGESTED TEXT:
– Wallet no longer loses it's staking status while doing an action that requires a full unlock, "unlock for staking" is preserved across actions.

No... I believe the original version here is the correct option.

lol. Bad grammar from a dude trying to fix grammar.

Haha yeah, most the fixes are just replacing ' with "

Which isn't necessarily any more right than the original. In fact if the entire thing is in quotes to begin with, it's straightforwardly wrong.

I agree, it wasn't meant to be perfect, just more clear. Really there shouldn't be any at all. I just left them because the original author used them, so I assumed they thought that it was a good choice in this case.

If you would rather. More was changed than just '/" by the way haha. Again not that it is better just how I would have saw fit.

MY SUGGESTED TEXT:
– Wallet no longer loses its staking status while doing an action that requires a full unlock, unlock for staking is preserved across actions.
– Added a right click context menu to portfolio overview so that account addresses can be easily copied.
– Fix for color issues on systems with non standard color themes.
– Capped transaction fee setting in options dialog at 100PND to prevent users from accidentally setting it too high.
– Fixes to transaction history. In some cases transaction history was incorrect.
– The wallet now shows fee transactions separately, so that transaction history is less confusing.
– Fixed a rare issue where the transaction view table would expand to infinite width.
– Added arrow indicators for Account Names under My Home, to indicate to users that you can click on the Account Names to directly view that account’s transaction page.
– Fixed transaction page balances and headers to be static, instead of dynamic when viewed on full screen.

Some small errors where corrected; missing punctuation, misspellings etc. As well as a slightly different word choice to combat grammatical errors.
Take it as you will I just thought I would offer my thoughts!

Panda is making a really good push with stable buys backing the growth. It looks really steady at this rate. We are just over 5BTC from breaking 6 sats, with a 25BTC back at 5 sats. This is very good looking growth, definitely not a pump. Go PND you deserve it Smiley

^That picture is really amazing!

Just ordered some PND on paypal. Of course I was excited to see this as an option and opted to test it out!
After not seeing it come through, I'm starting to wonder what happened since the money was withdrawn from my paypal.

Edit: Just kidding, it just came through Smiley Pending crypto is good to see in this fancy new bank!

So exciting of a day for PND!

I'm so excited to see where this takes us, August 30th. I'm a fairly long time supporter who just might have to back this coin a little more heavily, I can see much merit in that decision. Pandacoin team, you guys rock  Smiley

I can't seem to get my wallet to work. After installing the latest update I get the error "Error loading blk index.dat". Any ideas?

I'm now in MintPal buying AsiaCoin to 300 sat, we have to sustain our strategic coin, with higher potential of rise around the market! Smiley

Someone just ate up all of the sell orders from 300-450 Smiley

Someone earlier was talking about how people are scrambling to invest in only a few coins. This is a great article explaining why this can't keep up. The improved Asiacoin I think will have a bright future.

Friendly bump on why PND is awesome and why some of the current popular coins such as Blackcoin, Darkcoin and CINNI are short sighted and will most likely die off due to their questionable pre/instamines - > http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins

This link opened my eyes and taught me on what to look out for in order to find the honest coins. PND is going to stand out as the only PoS coin with more than 3 months of PoW distribution/mining phase!
Definitely an interesting read.  The author could use to do a bit more investigation into how the various instamines were possible, but it really shows the potential for a solid coin like PND.

Great analysis, very good read. Thank you for sharing!

Hi! I've been trying to withdraw my account balance for some time now. It says, usually processed in 30 minutes. I've had it pend over eight hours on three different addresses. Any insight?

First post updated with a complete rewrite, redesign and is now much more organized!

Feedback welcome!

I think it looks much better. Exceptionally clean layout!

I will vote when I get the assets in anything besides Asia coin to do so. I think if we can stay above 500 sats, and pick up some momentum we will see this coin take off. The majority of the community abandoned it, if we could get half the support we used to have and some assets behind us to back the price it will stabilize higher. In the mean time I'm holding.

The POS difficulty is higher now... does that mean more people are stake eligible? If so that's good. Less coins in circulation could help keep us above 500 sats.

I'll send you the BTC  Wink

If you would be so kind I would be glad to do so! If you can think of any easy way to verify it that might make you more confident the BTC is going where it should!

Any confirmed in http://sync.pool.mn/

why??

They may be stealing hash, they didn't pay out just a while ago for just under two weeks of work to anyone at an old pool.

http://sync.pool.mn is up and running! Hop in!

Everything going smooth!
You are welcome to mine at 0% fee!  Cool

I advise against pool.mm they will not always pay you for your hashing. They did that to an entire certain coin community.
