Stock GTX 1070 = 360 Sol/s @ 150 W OC GTX 1070 (clock @ 2050, mem @ 4500) = 410 Sol/s @ 170 W Efficient GTX 1070 (TDP 50%, mem @ 4500) = 330 Sol/s @ 95 W dead AMD its near Nvidia rules 35% more expensive for 35% more hash. We know. You are not unleashing secrets here... wrong, cost double of a 470 but it hash at double the speed or near that, the difference is the efficiency which is far greater my 470 nitro 8g samsung mem are doing 260 each when properly tuned, so eff is lower but hashrate is more than half the 1070's

For some reason my rx 470 rigs are shutting down/restarting with 9.2, it didn't happen with 9.1 I still have to run some tests to see if it's power consumption, but it doesn't happen mining ethereum only, so power draw with this version may be higher than ethereum mining, may be? I still have to test with a different 470 model, i'm currently mining with nitro+ rx 470 8gb, i have a bunch of gigabyte g1gaming 470 4gb to test to check if there's something related to this. It's working flawlessly with my r9 390/290 rigs
Too bad i can't overvolt 470's in linux, has anybody found a way/util to work on it? i know it's possible but i haven't found any simple tool to do it.
Best regards!
It was indeed power consumption, stock speeds still had resets/poweroffs, undervolted the cards and everything runs fine now. I have gone back to 9.1 with all of my RX 470s. 9.2 is too unstable and causes resets. Are you sure it isn't the power consumption that is overloading the psu's? After i downvolted the 470's it stopped messing around and seems to be pretty stable now. Best regards!

Why bittrex have Wallet Maintenance .
Today Bittrex no longer accept adding fund in XZC ! Bad news Bittrex wallet info doesn't say they no longer accept adding funds, it just says it's in maintenance which is normal knowing what's happening with the coin fork.

I'm watching this price and I will buy some cheap coins when it's more down I expect it will be back at 0.01 soon in new year.
You mean 0.001?

Have problem with blockchain solved? Price is again very high.
ues it's very very high! just down 90%+ from the top I bought all my XZC at 40k, and for me it was good price to sell, which I did. Buy low sell high! I'll give a shot at mining and storing, let's see what happens in a few weeks just to bet

I'm having mixed results with each miner i have found.
The windows miner (posted a couple of posts up) reports me 22h/s on an i7-5820k running at 4.35 ghz, i have it running with 10 threads and reports ~2.2h/s / thread Now, on my notebook, Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz, using ocminer's version, 0.22h/s per thread, 8 threads
What miner should i trust?? Any information is appreciated, thx!

Zcash price fell down, it was right until claymore's v7, after v8 everything went down, i hope v9 fixes it and price goes up again...
Price is only going to go down, much further down... Like South Pole down.. I'll have the chance to see it passing through Argentina i suppose, kinda a comet sighting

Wrong way. You must start this journey at the beggining again.. You mean there's a zcash clone on sight?

My v4 info:
AMD Fury - 100 H/s 280X - 70 H/s
280X - 85 H/s hynix > bios mod 7970 hynix low power use ! 280X's are becoming like say the highlander of the mining scene... Any 290/390 mem straps modding easy to follow tutorial around? too bad there's no mem straps editor like polarisbioseditor for hawaii

As someone mentioned before, this coin has become a mine and dump coin. With the latest huge drop in price the profits are almost equal to ETC now. Although Zec is still not present ( ) in http://www.whattomine.com/coins, for my small home farm of 280x and 390's (1200 sols/s) this is the reality. If we as a community do not learn how to care for our coins, sooner or later our profits will be gone. I mean, every time the pools pay to the miners there is a rush to fill the buy book in poloniex. I am not saying that we should wait too long but there is a way to sell in small portions with a minimal negative impact on the price. I do not consider myself as a good trader but I managed to doble my Zec profits selling during the spikes and not affecting the price in a negative way at all. Just a food for thought while squeezing another sols from your cards Very good miner by the way. I don't have any issues with it at all! P.S. In http://www.whattomine.com/coins now and then appears UTC on top - currently 3.5$ profit for 280x. I am afraid, however, that this coin is in danger of delisting in Bittrex and the buy offers are pretty small. What miner do u use for scrypt-jane?

Nay, your version is actually faster than Claymore's on my RX480's Claymore's faster for me on my 470's, and it's also considerably faster when the pc's cpu is a low end, i. e. an old sempron socket 939. Silentarmy's miner gave me around 10-14 h/s on each r9 390 and claymore's 49. On high end cpu's it seems to be rather similar at least on my 470's

Good news: I'm going to release my ZEC miner in a few hours so all ZEC-related discussion will move to new thread finally Bad news: I was not reach 100h/s on 390 in this version. I'm going to improve speed, but people want to have miner asap so I will release it as is, about 50h/s on stock 390X. I don't like to hurry so further improvements will be added later. Maybe it seems irrelevant, but so far the problem i'm having is that with slow/1 core cpus current miners get slowed down. Is it still a problem with your miner? so i start planning the upgrade, i have several miners running on old socket 939 cpus Best regards
|
|
|
It's indeed very cpu intensive, with a dual core athlon x2 5x rx 470 8gb around 34s/s each card, the same setup but changed to a sempron 140 single core reduces it to 24sols/s each
May be hash cpu validity checking? If that's so, it may be turned off at the expense of some invalid shares in the pool.
Best regards!
