The replacement hardware is now up and ready, so we're going to put the main pool in maintenance mode and transition to the new hardware likely within the next hour. Your miners shouldn't require any action, but may temporarily be unable to connect until it's back up.

A heads up that the official pool will be moving hardware. The hardware it's on has just not been stable for the workload, so having it on something else will allow it to scale better for the times that we have peak hashrates.
We expect this move to happen sometime over the next week, and with somewhat minimal downtime, but it will likely be down for about an hour or so. We'll post closer to when it's going down, but we wanted to warn everyone this was happening. If anyone out there is experienced with running a pool, we'd really appreciate if you could run one for CFN. Contact us, as we do have a bounty available for this too.

The ConfessionCoin team was recently approached by a web hosting company and was extended offers in both VPN and Web Proxy services on a trial basis for CFN directly. This is a trial to gauge interest, but the short version is that for a limited time, 10K CFN will buy you access to the trial Web Proxy server for 3 months (at today's pricing). We weren't sure which way to go with this, but decided to offer it to anyone that may be interested in more anonymous web browsing. If things go well, they are interested in offering their VPN services and more advanced proxy configurations as well.
PM us if interested or if you need more details. If you'd like to try this trial service, send 10,000 CFN to CZ5ZbPPJgfKsUqNL6RB2ZF5eUWnxaVmPHF and PM us with the payment Transaction ID and the information will be sent to you for immediate access.

Most of the wallet issues seem to have been resolved. Great!
Great! If you don't mind my asking, which platform are you on (Win/OS X/Linux)?

More pool issues, but we're resolving them as quickly as we can ...
Finally over that hump

Glad to see this coin is not dead!
As long as the devs are active (which we are!) and at least 2 people are using a crypto -- it can't ever die :-) Hey, been a while, but I've got some more free time and will be looking into the native windows build again. Got it going for a few other coins, so hopefully we can have the confessional built into the CFN Windows wallet in relatively short order(!) That's great, welcome back! PM sent :-)

Just a heads up that the official pool will be down for a few hours today for maintenance ... will post again when all is good with it.
Ok, the official pool appears to be in better shape now. Moved to a new disk, upgraded Mpos versions, etc.

ConfessionCoin has just been added to AllCrypt.com! The coin is live and available right now, although the blockchain might still be downloading and deposits might not appear until this is complete. We have (or will very soon) post an announcement on Twitter as well. Follow us on twitter (@all_crypt or https://twitter.com/All_Crypt) to help spread the word and keep abreast of site news and updates. We'd very much appreciate being listed as an active exchange in the OP of the this thread. If you'd like a high quality PNG logo to use, a zip is available at: http://www.allcrypt.com/aclogopack.zipAn important note: It sucks for everyone when there is a fork, or a version upgrade, and we don't get notified. Sometimes developers just tweet that there is an upgrade. We're busy running the site - we do not have time to read every tweet we are mentioned in every day. We read them, in time, but if it's an emergency upgrade (a fork) or there is a hard fork coming in less than a week - we may not see it. We unfortunately do not have time to read every forum thread of every coin we list - we'd love to - and we do read the forums as much as we can, but keeping up with every coin would be a full time job for multiple people. We'd rather spend that money on hardware and new code and features. The only truly RELIABLE way to ensure we know about a mandatory upgrade is to submit a support ticket. Just have someone hop by http://support.allcrypt.com and let us know. We see those all the time, and some of us have the app on our phones and see support tickets instantly. If for some reason your github source changes (community takeover for example) PLEASE let us know that in the ticket. We save the github sources so we don't have to scour for it again later - and if you have an upgrade, but we're checking the old source code, it will really delay the upgrade. You only need to provide a github source if the source has changed. I think that covers it! Thanks for your support of AllCrypt and we're proud to support you in return! Thank you so much -- the ConfessionCoin community appreciates it!

We're proud to announce the release of a new wallet, version 0.8.7.2! It's an incremental release that improves some networking code and it's recommended for everyone to upgrade. This is NOT mandatory, and no hard fork is taking place. Fear not, and Enjoy.
Download links are in the OP and on the website.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Pool Operators MUST update the RPC port to 3652 after the upgraded daemon is installed. Hi I was mining in 3 hour and now block found Hrm, that's no good. Which pool are you on? We are not seeing anything odd like that going on the official pool (pool.confessioncoin.com), but admittedly, we've had problems with it in the past. We're happy to work with you to figure out what's going wrong. Actually something odd was found with the cronjobs again. We ran them manually and the pool has updated properly as it should. All mining data should have been properly recorded, so if you were on the official pool and things aren't looking better, let us know. official pool is slow in block found and sometimes show uknown in blockfinder True. The official pool was never meant to be the only pool! It suffered some pretty serious hardware issues early on, but it's hanging in there for now. We'd actually really like to retire it, but seeing as how no other pools have emerged (or at least stuck around), it's still chugging along for the moment.

No new exchanges Not as of yet. If there's interest for CFN being on exchanges, it is up to the community to make that happen.

For anyone that was trying to leave a confession on http://confessioncoin.com -- we've fixed an issue on the backend that was preventing new confessions from coming in. The system and network are all fine, this was specific to the website and a broken script causing issues. In short, the site is rolling again!

It's been eerily quiet in this thread lately. But we don't believe that all confessions everywhere have been made just yet As a quick update, we've been focusing on finding more core team members (all areas, promo, marketing, dev, etc) so if YOU'RE interested, just PM or send mail to dev@confessioncoin.com! It's been challenging for us because most of the people we've approached about marketing are only interested in pumping the coin for short term gains. We realize that's apparently the thing to do these days, but none of us are the slight bit interested in that since we set out to create a long term coin for fun and utility. We also suffered from some hardware problems lately affecting both the site and the official pool, but things are more or less in order now. We still need volunteers to run pools and full nodes on public IPs (and we'll pay CFN for them too). I think that's mostly what's been going on here ... what's been going on with you?
