It would be great if VIOR could get on an exchange, has anyone contacted BarterDEX? It's free to list afaik, and going to be huge too, decentralised exchanges with atomic swaps will be the big thing of 2018!

During the next 1.5 months it is critical we secure and support the VIOR Network. Don't lose sight of what this project will be.

Coin hours have been accumulating since genesis. You will have a lot of them.
Cool, I'm a coin hour whale

I've got my coins in a first generation wallet from the first ICO when we sent orders via bit message. How can I import those coins into this new wallet? I've been hodling for a couple of years now, but want to start getting the 'coin hours'. It is the same. You do not have to do anything. Just make sure that you have your seed written down. Thanks @skycoin, so coins from first ICO have been earning 'coin hours' for a couple of years now, or will start from this latest version released few days ago?

Any news on WCT for the coinomat asset holders?
|
|
|
Does Sasha respond to this stain on WAVES reputation? No, if old Coinomat asset holders want to see their money again they're going to have to fight for it, it's obvious Sasha doesn't care about Coinomat investors now, otherwise he would have re-opened swaps with adequate compensation for lost WCT and dividends months ago when WAVES platform launched, as he promised he would do when he gave Coinomat investors that assurance. He told me personally that the benefit of not swapping was coinomat dividends would continue, and as the the number of assets would be smaller after the first swap round, the % return to those who waited for the second round would be higher , well guess what, NO DIVIDENDS WERE EVER PAID AGAIN!! Sasha lied, or is too incompetent to take care of his commitments, or BOTH!! This Coinomat issue is very troubling, I look into the history and seems clear cut, sasha neglects these old investors, and they have missed out on dividends and WCT. Why? The Coinomat and other NXT asset holders will get a chance to swap, I don't doubt that. What I fear is lost dividends and WCT, and what swap rate will they get ... if sasha rips people off with a crappy swap rate and doesn't compensate for lost WCT & dividends then he'll get a FUD outbreak from NXT veterans and BTT hero/legend users the likes have never been seen before. Jl777 is a massive coinomat holder, imagine him going full metal jacket on sasha if the swap rate and compensation is less than fair. The longer this goes on, the larger the compensation, or else sasha gets a PR turd from HELL

Clearwallet gives you your private keys when you generate an address. If you backed that up you don't need clearwallet anymore. If you didn't back that up, learn from this and do it next time.
You are clearly correct, and any clearwallet user can only blame the original dev, btcdrak, for the demise of clearwallet.io wallet, and best practice for users would have been to save private keys as well as clearwallet seed phrase, but this then becomes an issue of community assistance. If VIA wants to attract new investors and community members then here is a great opportunity to HELP people in need. Recently I saw Komodo dev jl777, and Elastic dev Evil Knievel go out of their way to help community members with key issues, even writing one-off utilities to help people recover coins. That kind of 'service' generates a lot of good vibes, and loyalty. Nobody is required to help these clearwallet users, but if someone does, how do you think that'll make them feel? Btcdrak is a prick!!!

All of the assets should continue to be traded on the AE platform, right?
Absolutely. When WAVES network is up they'll be transferred there. Look at the date on the post .... over a year later, and still nothing How will these old coinomat investors be compensated, they've lost so much money by the delay, and never received WCT ...

Guys just before going to hit my pillow i cannot refrain myself to give you this exciting update. The blockchain is currently stuck for months at block 673688 due to a lack of staking wallets (not enough POS power). The originial project leader, Killakem moved to stratis (which already proved to be successful) But FIBRE is about to be resurrected! We are a few FIBRE hodlers here and in SuperNET slack thinking for a long time about a blockchain revival and this is going to occur! mammix2, the original wallet dev, took over the project and is about to release a new wallet. What's the plan? kick-restart the blockchain with a new POW/POS phase with POW reward for a few weeks to have some incentive, after with no block reward to just have an engine to assure the blockchain's life (in other case of lack of POS) and hopefully with a revival of website and marketing How to help? First, when waiting for new release it should be a good idea to have as many FIBRE hodlers as possible ready to stake (synced to block 673688) We have a few nodes already with ~50k (and growing, afaik SuperNET holdings will be added to this) and we are about to have more than 10% supply weight ready to stake. So if you know about how to put a node online: -build the daemon, follow the instructions of https://github.com/fibre-team/fibre-public/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txt (just add libminiupnpc-dev to the dependencies listed there and you should be ok) you can get a copy of the db (to block 673660) i uploaded there: https://mega.nz/#F!sE0lWQiD!mlC5AV1U0ff1GNaGEYUcGg the 2 nodes addresses that i am currently running could be added to your Fibre.conf (in .Fibre) - beware of uppercase - addnode=2pptm3tysp5xlpfz.onion:7223 addnode=khpbewwsdoewtsea.onion:7223 (i only have fibredark addresses for now, working on standard IP's to provide) open inbound port 7223 (WARNING, the port is subject to change with new wallet release to help separate the new chain) If not or if under windows, keep your privkey's or wallet.dat close at hand and wait for new release (or updates meanwhile). on both cases be welcome to see or participate in the latests developments on the #fibre channel of the SuperNET slack ( https://sprnt.slack.com - get your invite at http://slackinvite.supernet.org/) speaking of SuperNET, the SN core coins concept is deprecated but... Unity of blockchains is not (which was the main idea) So any so-called bitcoin-compatible coin (basically rpc-queryable) can be added to agama wallet , DEX with atomic cross-chain,... In a word FIBRE can be part of SuperNET (again) quite soon will keep you updated *pouf* <-- sound of head hitting pillow Awesome news, I predict Fibre will be top 20 coin by xmas, connections with SuperNET and Stratis dev communities makes Fibre a great investment after relaunch.

SuperDAO will be the best ICO of 2017, decentralised poker will be HUGE!
I'm profit taking now in preparation for ICO, will be investing 80% of alt profits in SuperDAO once I see a working beta.

Absolutely. When WAVES network is up they'll be transferred there. Look at the date on the post .... over a year later, and still nothing This coinomat stuff is really bad for Sasha's credibility, why doesn't he just open up swaps again and get it over with, just delegate to someone else. Makes WAVES look unprofessional to have this drag on for over a year, maybe people in Russia accept this sort of behaviour but to Western eyeballs this level of contempt and disrespect for past investors is a red flag. @sasha, you need to deal with these old assets asap

Are voters able to split their vote between multiple candidates? I'd really like to support candidates who might be working on cool dev projects for Komodo, but if it was possible to use some proportion to vote for a pool and get some extra kmd for myself that would be great too.
This is a good idea, especially for whales

Don't want to say too much, but briefly corresponded with the dev.
Have confirmed that vTorrent is in end game territory and undergoing a security auditing stage.
How did you confirm end game territory, did you see any evidence, or did vDev tell you only? I want to believe, but I need details, you might be trying for an exit pump. He's full of shit, in all my time on this project, not once has the dev given out ANY details on releases. @vTorrent, can you confirm anything here?
