SuperDAO will be the best ICO of 2017, decentralised poker will be HUGE!
I'm profit taking now in preparation for ICO, will be investing 80% of alt profits in SuperDAO once I see a working beta.

Guys I've been waiting for this project to come to fruition for a long time. I'm struggling with the fact that the ICO is right around the corner and we aren't getting pumped with info. There are a few good projects to invest in right now including another "casino platform" later this month, and it seems like they are mentioned in every article I click on. I can't decide if I need to put my money here or wait for a couple other project ICO's to go live. Please give me some positive energy here... I really like what SuperDAO is doing.. but I'm hoping that this project hasn't taken so long to get to this point, that the team doesn't have the same excitement and drive in them that some of the newer projects seem to be injecting into the public.
I agree. The lack of info with 48 hrs prior to crowdsale, after years of work, is a bit disconcerting/surprising. Waiting to hear more.

Crowdsale will probably be delayed again, but it doesn't change the fundamentals of decentralised poker. When the beta is launched the crowdsale will start, and with cutting edge software development there are always delays.

I am actually beginning to doubt the potential of this project, not about the project in itself, but about the team supposed to carry it, I have never seen a project so badly handled. No marketing campaign nor media covers, no communication whatsoever for potential investors, delayed once, maybe a second time and anyhow they won't receive much ethers with such way of handling an ICO, very unprofessionnal, I am thinking this could just be a SCAM. I invested quite some ethers in January, enough to know that it will be taken to court and investigated if the team does not begin to show some moves, always traces to roll back and find the real identities and nowadays scammers should know they can get prosecuted for such acts. I am not saying that they are (yet) but this is all way too shaddy. Or and it is maybe not reassuring neither, they just don't have a clue of what they are doing. The day I can pull out of this project I surely will do it in no time, if I have the chance to, even at loss which is almost inevitable considering ether's sharp raise.
I ADVISE ALL POTENTIAL INVESTORS NOT TO ENGAGE ANY MONEY IN THIS PROJECT AS LONG AS LIGHT HAS NOT BEEN MADE. It would be very unreasonnable and reckless. A little math just for the fun, number of coins, 100 000 000, price in dollar per coin is 16 now, which would make a 1.6 billion $ marketcap (Litecoin's marketcap is that amount in comparision) , just like that, with nothing solid, just a beta for one poker game... this is clearly fucked up. If those guys are not scammers then we have the most dumb team of the year award to give out. Go look at DAO Casino, they are real ( I met them) serious, motivated, media coverage, well advised, Vitalik and other eth developpers did look it up and they changed a lot after those advices. Yeah, I know I should shut my mouth being an investor, but right now I just don't want more people to feel like I do. From a true passionnate and crypto optimist !

If these guys release a decentralised poker app that actually works, and they also have the DAO structure in place to govern things when they launch, then SuperDAO valuation would merit billion dollar marketcap. Communication could be better, but look at IOTA, those guys were in stealth mode for two years, and then they launch fully formed with 1.6 billion marketcap just this week.
These guys might pull this off still.

Was anyone able to join their slack ? The link in the ANN is broken and the website says nothing about it.
Also, was anyone able to join their mailing list ? the website says there is an error whenever I try.

They're still in stealth mode, so slack is still restricted to dev team only.

+1 When the beta is released the wait will have been worth it. The surge in ETH increased their dev funds considerably, so my guess is they decided to use the extra funds to improve the poker client, which might make all the difference to the end product. We're all in a different game now with startups, the old VC model has been blown out of the water, token sales free up devs to call the shots themselves now, they don't need to meet arbitrary targets and deadlines to keep VC's happy anymore, so let's assume the delays are conscious decisions made by cashed up devs for good reasons. New territory, new paradigm.

I still have high hopes for Pokereum, but you guys better lift your game, especially communication wise. jl777 and his SuperNET/Komodo juggernaut have successfully launched now, and they have amassed a sizeable war chest of funding, over 30M USD in liquid crypto cash alone, seriously this is true, they own over 1% of IOTA, and 1% of another top 10 coin Stratis, plus large holdings in many other successful coins. http://old.supernet.org/nav.phpRecently he offered a 1 million USD bounty for EACH project leader of his projects, and this is your competition now, Pangea fully funded, with a 1M USD team working on marketing etc, plus jl777 as lead dev, plus the whole SuperNET monolith behind it. I know you guys are working on a beta client for Pokereum, but when jl777 turns his attention to the SN Poker project Pangea, you guys will get blown away if you don't have a good head start. jl777 literally has a +1Billion USD mega crypto organisation behind him now when you look at the value of his empire, and the guy works harder than anyone I've ever known, or known of. You really need to get your shit together, when he puts decentralised Poker at the top of his 'to-do' list you guys will struggle big time to compete. can we have a RoadMap about supernet projects? Smart contracts, Jumbrl, EasyDEX....
It is impossible to give any dates. Also there are many stages, like with Agama Wallet. We already have a working multiwallet, but it's not ready for real use or marketing. The same situation will be with the DEX. We can try to make some general graphic about it, it's been on the "to do" list for some time. That all being said, we can tell you what we are working on and what our priorities are. - GUI team is working on Agama Wallet, we want to get it ready for real marketing (it will have its own website and we brand it) - jl777 is testing DEX, we want to start a public beta test in near future. DEX is the key when it comes to everything else. We need it finished before we can fully finish the other pieces, such as - Komodo Currencies - Bitcoin Jumbling on Jumblr So, the priority for the next months is DEX. After all those mentioned above are ready jl777 will start coding the Komodo Smart Contracts that we need for Pangea Poker. Pangea Poker development will probably start in 2018. This is the best roadmap we can give at this point. If some designer want's to take up the challenge and try to illustrate it he can pm @audo on SuperNET Slack.

Poker market is big enough for multiple platforms anyway. Success of Pokereum rests on quality of beta client.

Poker has an issue with collusion making it a money laundering issue. Hence no one will legally touch decentralised poker unless thats solved.
Funfair.io is specifically focusing on casino games until they come up with a solution. They wont touch Poker due to legality and collusion in the mean time. Pokereum will have legal troubles if they release and can't demonstrate collusion is not possible.

Vitalik said that this project was interesting and that it was valid to check and delve into, but apparently it was abandoned... Or at least the form of disclosure wasn't the best and it's necessary to offer something more if they wish to establish themselves in the market of poker!

Superdao isn't abandoned, you can see activity happening on their pre-ICO funding address regularly, so they're still spending money. It's frustrating that they're still in stealth mode, but startups never run on schedule, I'm still hopeful pokereum will be a major launch in Q3. As for issues with collusion in poker and money laundering I don't see a problem, the whole point of decentralised poker is to cut out a centralised controller, and with a DAO structure running the whole enterprise I expect Superdao/pokereum will pass the aml sniff test easily. If there are 1000's of players and hundreds of tables, trying to organise predictable collusion opportunities when table allocation is provably random would be impossible.

So I don't get it.
Let's say I wanna invest and not play the games.
What will be the benefits? I can't stake any thing, no mining, no masternodes, nothing.
How a long term holder can benefit from holding it, any revenue share for token holders? any thing?
