21  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Well the GAW fan Boys do it again on: December 05, 2014, 12:51:19 PM
Interesting I looked at the most recent posts of the banned user and it seems he was not flaming or trolling but raising very valid questions. Sad that he was banned for that  Angry

Yup. Banned for asking a question that GAW doesn't like the answer to. Gotta love the "community" they have over there .  .  .  Wink
22  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 05, 2014, 12:37:02 PM
Haha just skimmed through the BS again. So the CEO is a very generous guy, he just gives out 1 paycoin to every prime hashlet owner. That is apparently 500k PayCoin and as we all know, they will be worth at least 20$/pc

So, out of the blue, he decided to throw out 10 million $ of the original investors money. Sounds legit, gotta get myself some primes

/sarc

And as you know, everybody is cheering this, and if not, they are banned.

I can't describe the feeling I get when reading the BS, they JUST CAN NOT truly believe this can they? They have to be cheering just to not make everything fall apart before they exit? Right?

I'm only cheering about it right now because it's helping boost the prices on the Hash Market. Now's the time for people to pull out! I have a feeling that after people initiate the transfer from Hashlet's to Stakers tonight that they won't be able to sell them.

On a side note, GAW seems to be very desperate to get the customers, or victims, to exchange their hashlets to cashtakers. I would even go so far, as to claim that there is some legality detail behind this. If everyone changes their "miner" to a cashtaker, then they will have an audit, everything is fine even if they don´t have the hardware as they aren't selling any mining, just cashtaking.

I think they're doing POS for two reasons.

1. It prevents a mass dumping of the coins for 3-6 months. The coins that are put into these wallets can't be dumped. It'll help prolong the artificial $20 floor that GAW is planing.

2. They can "sell off" mining hardware. So when / if there's an audit they can show a small amount of hardware and claim that this is all they need for the remaining Hashlet's.

Looks like every converted Prime gets a free PayCoin. I wonder how their "investors" feel about the company diluting PayCoin already?

The good news for those looking to get out now, it looks like Prime prices are pulling back up today from this announcement. Hopefully, it'll pull into the $6x range before the conversion time later today; for those who are looking to get out.
24  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 04, 2014, 02:29:18 PM
So, it looks like Primes are going for about $55 a MH right now. I wonder what the pricing will be like tonight? I wonder if it's worth holding out and seeing if it doesn't spike into the $60 - $70 range.

I have a few more Primes to offload, but trying to figure out the best time to dump them. I could have made more BTC if I hadn't liquidated the majority earlier, but my crystal ball was broken.  Grin

Damnit, sold mine at 45 Smiley

You two should be lucky to get out of the GAW train wreck at any price. When everything crashes you will say I was so smart I got out at $45.

I'm quite happy to get out ahead and then some. The hardest part of an operation like GAW is knowing the best point to pull out.
If by some chance this PayCoin thing actually launches at $20 those who liquidate quickly stand to make out well.

I just need to figure out if it's worth gambling (Hold onto / convert to POS) with the remaining Primes or liquidate them all tonight . . .  Damn, crystal ball is still broken . . .  Tongue

You guys can't see the thread? I'm in it right now lol

They moved it, and apparently their forum software isn't setup to forward to the new location.

I wonder what excuse they'll give this time for not following through on an announcement again? Only had green spray paint?  Grin

I think Josh straight up lied about that $8,000,000 deal and if he didn't.. I'm not sure what the fuck Eric is still doing with that shady company?

Maybe it was $8 million worth of PayCoin? Might explain why he's still there.

TLDR: Mining is dead! Long live POS . . . .

Expect ZenPool payouts to collapse again soon.

Very interesting. I know that I've read of several reports of people having cell service issues from the old GridSeed Orbs running. However, I wouldn't be surprised that a large warehouse filled with miners wouldn't be generating some sort of interference.

However, one quick question about this document.

It states:
Quote
Furthermore, the alleged violators are continually operating at least one thousands of these unregistered, unlabeled, and uncompliant electronic Bitcoin mining devices within a single 150,000-square foot warehouse in Park Purvis, Mississippi, which are likely transmitting stray radio emissions that may overpower, jam, and/or interfere with legitimately authorized communication services; essentially making these devices federally prohibited “signal jammers”.3

I see that the words used are "likely" and "may." Has there been any testing conducted near the offending location to actually prove that there is stray radio emissions being emitted from GAW's premises; that are interfering with other legal transmissions? Like HAM, cell, AM/FM, etc?

Now, if there is interference happening, and GAW has knowledge about this; this could be quite ugly for them. The FCC doesn't mess around.

Current Hashlet Owners
We haven’t forgotten about you. You will soon have the choice to upgrade to HashStakers. Next week, we announce the upgrade path for Primes, Zens, and other Hashlets.

But, all Hashlet Primes already have a HashStaker Wallet reserved. Why? Because you’re Prime :grinning[Smiley]:.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/20275/the-hashstaker-is-here

So, apparently Hashlet's are dead now; long live HashStaker . . .

Seeing how these HashStakers are contracts for either 3 or 6 months at a time I'm guessing that these "upgraded" Hashlet's will also expire?

This Paybase announcement is interesting.

Seems like quite the ambitious project, and they're entering into the minefield of FINCEN regulations. I wonder what method they'll use to verify the identity of their clients?

I hope they're prepared for that.
32  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet Hashcoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 25, 2014, 08:25:27 AM
I'm betting that they'll use a service like PR Newswire. Pay them and they'll send whatever you makeup to a large number of news sites. The news sites (Like CNN) then just repost the PR letter verbatim. I'd be incredibly surprised if they get a legitimate interview from any of these larger news sites.

Unfortunately, it looks like I was right.  Cry

This is going to be a blood bath if / when PayCoin implodes. Way too many people are investing everything they have in this crap.

That is incredibly cool looking. Great job!

Transcendence was carved from Cocobolo wood imported from Costa Rica. Unable to be portrayed through photography, Transcendence moves while standing still as the high oil content of Cocobolo wood emits an iridescence much like a tigers eye stone or a hologram.

I wish that I could see it in person; must look incredible.  Smiley

If BTC price improves I'd be tempted to get some work commissioned.  Cheesy

have they shown hardware photos?

They have shows a few pictures of some hardware. However, pictures of a few racks of miners don't prove they aren't doing fractional mining / are mining 1:1.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/19212/mining-statement

TLDR: No mining proof other than pictures will be released because
Quote
the release of this information will cause issues for our company in the near future.

Their reasoning is on that thread. Pretty much they don't want people to track their transactions. They also have been using "proprietary mining software and systems" which would be exposed if they gave out the addresses. Why they wouldn't / don't use multiple address to keep everything separated for much easier accounting? I have no clue.

So instead of releasing solid proof of mining 1:1 GAW is planing a silly publicity stunt . . .

Here is what I am going to do
During our next Q & A (Video Conference), I’m going to carry a pink can of spray paint, and hold the conference live from the Data Center. I will let dial-in users choose where they want me to spray paint (anywhere in the DC). At the end, I will paint on the floor “This is my house!”

That'll inspire confidence that GAW is a serious business venture . . .  Cheesy
35  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 21, 2014, 05:50:29 PM
Well.. I think a lot of it has to do with Paycoin's release... A lot of new attention will be on this and he's trying to control the bad side as much as possible. I peronally think the heavy censorship is counter productive because it brought the complaints to more forums and to a larger audience. It would have been safer to keep them just on HT.

I agree. If Josh had just taken the tough questions head on they would have kept their user base happy. When you start shadow banning people, and refuse to provide evidence of mining (Among other questions). . . well it makes people question what's really going on.

IMO they've given up on BTC / Scrypt mining; just like they gave up on physical hardware sales. They keep changing the game on their customers, and now they have their customers riding everything on PayCoin. It's not going to be pretty when / if PayCoin falls apart.
36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 21, 2014, 05:43:05 PM

These questions you guys are sending me have ALL been addressed at some point in time on Hashtalk. There's really nothing new or illuminating that I'm offering here that Josh hasn't revealed himself or at least hinted at before. This is why I'm saying that instead of just listening to one or two uninformed people and repeating what they have to say more loudly, you should do the research yourself, and ask questions respectfully, and you'll eventually get the answers you need or want, if it's possible to do so. I get it that there's a mob mentality to this kind of community and it's easy to be lazy and get caught up in the pitchfork and torch thing... but if you really want to get to the heart of it, ignore the koolaid comments in hashtalk and ask your questions there in a respectful way without unsubstantiated claims or accusations and someone is likely to help you understand what's going on there.

First, thank you for answering the questions I posted in a concise manner. Smiley

The biggest problem is that you won't find any answers on HashTalk. There has been a steady stream of people who have been shadow banned on HashTalk for asking questions. Hell, a guy on here got shadow banned for correcting Josh about it being CCN not CNN that they did the interview with. I'd understand if these people were outright trolling on HashTalk, but asking serious questions about PayCoin and their products shouldn't be shadow banned. It didn't use to be that way back when the forum first went up, and its gotten a lot worse since ZenPool went to crap.

37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 21, 2014, 02:56:19 PM

Sure - I'm here for the moment... I needed my Friday entertainment.

Let's start a topic called "Ask the Shill"...

Go ahead, ask away. Clearly, from reading all this stuff around here, you guys have no idea what's going on, and your speculations that I know the answers to are wrong, so I'll be happy to answer what I can.

The rules are, the first time someone posts something personally demeaning to me (disrespectful - like calling me a shill (I'll give you a pass on that)) - the session is over. Let's see how long it takes before this degrades into name calling and personal attacks. If I don't know an answer, I'll say so.

Ready? Let's go...

Questions:

1. Is there any proof that actual mining is taking place at a 1:1 ratio of hash power sold?

2. Has there been any public evidence that PayCoin is actually close to finishing development? An ever evolving white paper doesn't lend credence that this coin is almost ready to launch.

3. Who are the developers of PayCoin? ZenCloud has had a large number of issues with payouts, deposits, graphs, boost timers, etc. If the in-house development team is having issues with a project like ZenCloud running; I'm worried about the quality of the PayCoin codebase. Not to mention that HashTalk is running on an outdated version of NGINX that's over 7 months old, and has almost daily downtime . . .

EDIT:

4. You stated earlier that "People who really can't grasp a business model or figure out the technology behind it." So what exactly is GAW's business model and the technology they are using? Physical miners? Unregistered securities?
38  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet Hashcoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 19, 2014, 07:42:26 PM
PayCoin sounds a little close to PayPal in "lexical construction", didn't a bunch of companies get into trouble for using "iSomething" in the past couple of years?  I'm probably completely off track, not sure how TM works, I'm guessing the name was vetted by lawyers not to come in conflict with others in the same space having a similar name that could be mislead.

I'd say that GAW is in a gray area: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confusing_similarity

They're both a financial sector product, and the PayCoin logo appears to have a slight italics; like the official PayPal logo.

However, I doubt that PayPal will do anything unless PayCoin gains any kind of traction.
39  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet Hashcoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 17, 2014, 07:20:45 PM
Good friend of mine just confirmed after a meeting with low level SEC representatives that the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating GAW MINERS, LLC for securities fraud and WILL be indicting/prosecuting them under the 1970 RICO Act.

Get any assets you have left out NOW.

That would be a hell of a turn of events. Not that I would be surprised about this happening, but do you happen to have any physical evidence?

On a shitty little paid advert way nestled somewhere in the back. He said something about CNN also.

I'm betting that they'll use a service like PR Newswire. Pay them and they'll send whatever you makeup to a large number of news sites.
