21  Economy / Economics / Re: where does bitcoin stand today? (July 2014) on: August 29, 2014, 08:02:15 PM
On a scale of 1 - 100, with 100 being full worldwide adoption and usage where does bitcoin stand?

I guess only the 15-20% of the world knows of bitcoin as of now and even less percentage of people use it for daily purposes. Some people aren't even familiar with the term. They are like what bird is that? When you talk about bitcoin infront of them LOL
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China exactly ban bitcoin? on: August 29, 2014, 08:00:03 PM
if it is not, why many exchanges, btchina okcion, had continued to trade in china, and ready to trade in the world.

if it is, why he, Thomas Xie, LakeBTC CEO say “A Ban Should Target Risky Products and Foul Players, Not Bitcoin Itself”?

Quote
CT: Given China’s restrictive stance on cryptocurrencies, have you faced any pressure from the authorities? Has the ban on third party processors affected your operations?

TX: Not at all. The latest official policy was published on December 5 by the five central government agencies including PBOC (People's Bank of China). It's clearly stated that Bitcoin is a type of commodity that people are free to own, buy, and sell. Other than that, everything else is speculation, hearsay or rumors. We are running a legitimate business with all required government paperwork.

That being said, there are a number of flash crashes and high-risk products provided by certain local Bitcoin exchanges. If there were a ban, it should be targeting those risky products and the foul players, not Bitcoin itself. The exchanges in question promise 0% fee forever and in the mean time are promoting high-risk businesses such as margin, short trading, and P2P lending without proper risk management. For example, there's an LTC flash crash to 1 CNY from 100 CNY in seconds, thanks to shorting trading in a platform.

Also from China, but the view is quite different, how do we judge it? ban or not ban?
I think it's not quite easy to ban bitcoin completely from the country. They might have banned the buying/selling and exchanges of bitcoin throughout their nationality. But I am sure that would't stop the trade either
23  Economy / Economics / Re: If you are anti-Bitcoin or permabear, why are you here? on: August 29, 2014, 07:58:22 PM
There are barely any anti-bitcoin and permabear people here. Jorge only that I know.

Others are just trolls who are trolling to help their short position or to buy low.
I love to see people alike, who make more sense out of less word and help people understand.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we give respect to Rich and no-respect to poor? on: August 29, 2014, 07:56:16 PM
hi actually i m not a newbie but newbie in forum Smiley

people love rich and give all respect to them if rich wants they give them ther A** without any reason but the reason behind will be money..

the community only love rick why not poor ,,, poor deserve`s more respect ... poor have much more peace in them expect rich ...

if rich wants help everyone help them if poor wants no one help expect few people

please give me some predictions Smiley
Poors still have the humanity and rich do not, rich people made out a world of illusion in which they think they are happy from the things they get/have and make others fall into the same illusion.Poor people have less and are happy with what they have. They don't have more enough economy to make others happy.Rich are just those people who were once poor who stepped onto humanity and got onto
25  Economy / Economics / Re: First in the world plastic coins for public circulation on: August 29, 2014, 07:52:15 PM
Central Bank of Transdniestria* issued plastic coins for public circulation. Several security measures taken to protect new coins (special composite plastic, microtext printing, UV- and IR-fluorescent elements, etc).

*Transdniestria -- Transnistria (also called Trans-Dniestr or Transdniestria) is a breakaway state founded in 1990 with limited recognition located mostly on a strip of land between the River Dniester and the eastern Moldovan border with Ukraine.
Yeah many countries are issuing plastics notes and now coins, good way to protect the environment and recycle the plastics also, people wouldn't dump plastic while you make the plastic money
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we love the rich and hate the poor on: August 29, 2014, 07:50:22 PM
because you think they deserve it, instead the poor are stupid or something, instead they are just not lucky enough

Way too legit. This upsets rich people, they think are special butterflies when they are just lucky.
Rich people were also once poor who got enough opportunities and good luck to get through the process of evolving through poor to rich

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at the Pump, ideas on: August 22, 2014, 08:47:50 AM
It won't take forever for btc to be accepted, because world is progressing too fast since last 25 years or so.

It might take time for btc to be accepted in remote pump locations.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: August 22, 2014, 08:46:14 AM
Offline seperate wallets on a seperate computer with temporary internet access[not 24 hours]. If you have 100 btc then you can surely afford to hire a techie to clean up your systems Smiley
