I did not thoroughly research this matter but it seems that all the coins that claim to have a working anonymity do not share its source code

I think the whole "here is our code, look over it" thing was so that people could check for themselves that there was no hidden premine or something along those lines. It was clear, looking at the dev timeline, that the features were not going to be implemented at the beginning.
I don't think anyone is calling into question the development timeline. But it certainly seems despite what the dev may claim that he's using a purchased user account, the lack of any sort of communication just screams scam. The technical jargon responses is mumbo jumbo intended to fool the non-technical folks. This whole thing if it was legit would be handled in an entirely different manner. I don't have much faith in the PoD stuff, who's to say they don't just buy some id online or use the fake name generator site. Instead of PoD, lets see some proof of activity, some proof of commitment, anything... videos, some more detailed posts on the project plan. The dev doesn't even sound all that excited about their great IPO etc. I really hope this is "real" and not a scam, but unfortunately all evidence points to the contrary at this point. I was a believer up until I pulled their off the shelf code to put a daemon up on my pool to mine it, and compiled the Qt wallet on Linux. These guys can't even build a basic wallet that works right cross-platform. You very well could be right. But at this point, the only way the price will rebound and ICO investors will get their money back is if the coin ends up not being a scam, the project moves forward, and the promised developments are achieved. It is all or nothing at this point, either it is a scam or it is not. Continuously speculating about how it might be a scam does not change anything, if anything it just makes things worse because if it is not a scam and people are falsely implying that it is then they are making it much harder for new people to become interested in the coin.. My god, am I sleeping? There is a sensible man here! I can not believe my very own eyes, can I shake your hand please? |

Sure! Except they already fullfilled agreement with Bittrex. DEV actually delivered everything he promised before ICO (and you agreed that when you invested) so there is no reason for any refund. I consider that bittrex has to transfer only 20 BTC for initial development of a coin, it is quite enough of it. Further we will look as the developer will arrive. We have to write in large quantities to richiella

+1, just post some piece of codes not all of them to avoid clone. We've started to develop the concept of ClusterCoin not that long ago. You may see in the white paper what we are going deliver and you must understand how promising, ambitious and complicated this project is. At this very moment we are not ready to publish parts of the code as it is not ready for the release. Those of you who are familiar with C++ development probably realize that developers don`t just jump into coding of complicated projects. Careful planning and prior modelling must take place before that. ClusterCoin main idea is to divide block chain into GEO clusters is well understood but still needed to be modelled prior to implementation. As for now we are exploring how system behaves in user-populated environment when two or more GEO clusters are present. We use MatLab to model this situation. Modelling is crucial to make sure the whole ClusterCoin network will be stable in future Um, so what changes were you asking people to review during the ICO period? I am sorry to sound harsh (and no not spread FUD), if all you have got is "look at the whitepaper" then its no good considering you are not really that far into development. Why even do an ICO when you are not that much far into development becomes rather questionable. Matlab modelling is more like the PoC stage of SDLC ie the coin is very far from being released, isnt? Obviously dev calls for ICO because he need fundings in order to be able to dedicate more time and hire more ppl to work on the project. |

Still do not understand why people are selling their coins below ICO price. Nothing to back this drop but panic, fear and stupidity. The dev team has clearly layed out a roadmap with specified dates. They have said before that they would not respond to trading questions. People can sell at 1k if they want, this is not the focus nor the business of the devs. As far as i can see nothing has changed and the dev has been clear and honest. He said he filed for POD and people did not believe him until cryptoasian confirmed this.

you are raising a very good point here Dev has been honest all along and didn't break any of his promises. People pay too much attention to FUD which clearly had no basis. You can call any other dev scamer without giving a chance. Because he need money to pay employees. If he wont be able to pay - they wont be able to deliver results. No matter scam or not if Bittrex will hold the funds up to september you wont see any deliveries from DEV, because he wont be able to fund the project. You and your alike leaving 0 chances for any pre-funded project to be compleated since basically you want pay after the thing is done. Also Bittrex will eventually release funds, and you will still loose your investements without leaving developer a single chance to prove his honesty. Basically what you do is just trying to find a way to get back your 0.1 BTC. It`s gone. Deal with it. Instead of being pussy you could do something positive to get this project moving. Here is the Hint for you from Wikipedia: Investment is time, energy, or matter spent in the hope of future benefits actualized within a specified date or time frame. Notice two words: HOPE and FUTURE. First one means you can receive pile of smoking crap and second means that you have no idea when it will hit you.
