AeroME Community,

This is a minor update to bring you up to speed with current progress. Including some of the issues I have been tackling.
Namely, increase in the "AM" network connection counts and why I have deployed a partial  "TRUSTED" node network!

  • Network Efficiencies
  • Top-down security
  • High I/O Transaction Speeds
  • Separation of concerns
  • Modularity
  • Changes to the AeroME Repository

Network Efficiencies

The following code snippet contains the output from a a command ./aeromed getinfo command. To emphasize the roll out of the trusted node network I have setup.

Code:
aerome@eu-node6:~/bin$ ./aeromed getinfo
{
    "version" : "v1.0.0.3: Experimental",
    "protocolversion" : 60015,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 100.00000000,
    "newmint" : 0.00000000,
    "stake" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 93575,
    "timeoffset" : -1,
    "moneysupply" : 12019967.05104018,
    "connections" : 32,
    "proxy" : "",
    "ip" : "198.XXX.XX.XXX",
    "difficulty" : {
        "proof-of-work" : 0.00024414,
        "proof-of-stake" : 0.03425662
    },
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1424305289,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00010000,
    "mininput" : 0.00000000,
    "errors" : ""
}
aerome@eu-node6:~/bin$

I have been setting up (and automating) the process of the underlying network structure I have created a dual network via the -connect=<ip> command for the trusted core of the platform. Unlike the --addnode=<ip> connect only allows secure connections to trusted nodes (at least in the methods I used to set things up)

Furthermore, The Smart contracts hosts require a trusted node network. However, the marketplace will be "trustless" as will be the client/server connection to the outter ring of the peers network..

Top-Down Security

Without going into detail the slush codebase (the name of the codebase for my work) which consists of the client codebase and the platform endpoints will be trust-less (decentralized) but inside of/and on top of this part of the network will be a sub-network running the contracts oracles.

Transaction Speed

The client/servers connections makes full use of Elliptical Curve technology.

The standard Ed25519 signatures are elliptic-curve signatures, carefully engineered at several levels of design and implementation to achieve very high speeds without compromising security.
This is part of what makes this network so cool.

Read more about Ed25519 elliptic-curve signatures:- http://ed25519.cr.yp.to/

AM-X IS HUGE unlike so many of the other similar projects (in appearance) to what has been released to date in the crypto community over the past few months.

I will be honest I am still deploying servers left and right and have not stopped and have literally gone days coding "flat-out". Beta of the marketplace is good but bringing all the components together is proving a mini-challenge and is something i am figuring out, as opposed to referencing my wireframes /api documentations.

Another words I am making changes as I go which is going against my initial requirements brief which is another way of saying necessary project scope creep..

Separation of Concerns

Another consideration which you maybe unaware of is lately Node.js now called NWJS has migrated over to version 12.0-Alpha.
This is fork of the node-webkit v10.3x branch and changes the way it manages Buffers/streams using (IO.js/ through2)

IO.js:  https://iojs.org/en/faq.html
through2: https://github.com/rvagg/through2

This has proved to be a pain in the ass as it meant a substantial change to the way I approached coding problems and having to re-do a lot of the "real-time" response aspects of the client application.
This meant having to bump my codebase models and partials up to ECMA-262 (ES6) and a whole host of other dependant modules.

Modularity

I have also making a custom wrapper for NW.JS auto updater feature. So instead of having a "dumb" client AeroME-client will be smart which means it will "call-home" back to base for new features and updates as i roll them out. This will serve to benefit you guys from having to "manually" download updates as they are released, etc. And will all be managed transparently in the background.

I cannot emphasize this strongly enough but I assure you the work being done here, once complete will be a talking point in cryptos for some time to come. I continue to poor my blood, sweet and tears into this project and I can only salute you for standing by me for all this time.

Changes to the AeroME Repository

I have made several commits to the am-aerome master code repo held up on Github and included a couple of /Contrib scripts to help with the process of running MASTER nodes by the community.

Quality of Service
I have included a QoS (Quality of Service) set of rules to make running a MASTER node much more efficient for end-users networks. And to tame the network bandwidth used for MASTER node operators.
https://github.com/aeromasterdev/am-aerome/blob/master/contrib/qos/tc.sh

secure installs and managing your aeromed Daemons
I have also included / updated several sections in the documentation on GitHub on how to properly install/run/manage your aeromed Daemons.
https://github.com/aeromasterdev/am-aerome/tree/master/contrib/init

Authentication
There is a whole host of other parts of this project I have been working on SSO (Single Sign on) Authentication and OTP/2FA plus managing Tokens etc and a whole host of other things.

Exposure
I have also posted the AeroME OP thread over on https://allcryptotalk.com/
AeroME Thread URL:- https://allcryptotalk.com/index.php/topic/1002-ann-am-aerome-decentralized-marketplace-exchange/

altcoincalendar.info:- https://www.altcoincalendar.info/coins/1364-AM has also received our submission (and is live) -- even though AM has been released this helsp to raise awareness. Plus Search Engines love this kind of user generated content.

KryptoLydin, has also updated the OP page here on BCT And is a very professional job indeed.

We have all been busy with various tasks and as always I will remain active and dedicated to my work and this project!

Thank you all for your time,

Regards,

Majika.

AeroME community,

Team Cryptonator kudos on your service!!

Hey guys. Now listing AeroME on Cryptonator website https://www.cryptonator.com/rates/AM-BTC and in Cryptonator Android / iPhone apps. Enjoy!

It gives great encouragement so see AeroME branching out over various "third-party" services just as cryptonator.com has rolled out.

I would like to extend the gratitude on behalf or myself and also on behalf of the AeroME community for helping to spread the "AeroME love" via your service.

The service you have provided will lower the entrance requirements for the average Joe public to keep up to date with AM prices and crypto prices in general !

I hope this goes without saying, if there is anything you feel, we as a community can help with please dont hessitate in letting us know.
We will be happy to help in whatever ways we can Smiley

Best Regards,

Majika & AeroME community !

Was just curious what will happen to those aero coins still being traded on cryptsy. You know those folks will be knocking on the door soon and fudding up a storm because they missed the swap.

Yes its a legitimate concern and something which will require careful consideration as murderouskirk states "when the need arises".

hey dev and community  Cheesy

if i have or buy Aero Coin , how to i Convert AERO ( crypsty ) coin to AeroME ( bittrex ) thanks

...Late swaps have been happening on a case by case basis, mostly via the community's generosity.

The dev has been late swapping some but I think he's been checking to see when the aero was acquired (as in coins purchased before the swap period expired).

This is exactly the case. I am here not only to develop for our project but also to protect us too. I have to scrutinize any and all requests.

If people have aero, post about it politely and the community will see if they can / want to help. Being rude (not that anyone has been lately, but it happens here and there...) is a quick way to not get your coins attended to.

As murderouskirk expressed above any concerns which could arise from the recent decision by Cryptsy to close the AERO/BTC market will be looked at. As I have always said I'm here to help make sure things are honest & fair for us all.  AERO holders will be assisted in an orderly fashion if its decided there is a genuine grounds for valid swap claims the best course of action will be decided as a community consensus.

It is very important any questions or queries put to our community in done so in a respectful, and considerate manor.
If we all approach this with this mindset I don't see why there will be any issues. If people are respectful and ask in a polite way, I am almost certain they will be meet with a much more receptive community and dev  where the likelihood of a amicable solution could be found Wink

With most problems a solution can be much easier to reach, if the complainant share a mutual respect with the individual(s) they have an issue with from the start. This will help to keep tempers down (if it ever gets to that point).

Just writing this out because I have a bad feeling we are about to get hit with the cryptsy holders finally looking into what they are holding Sad

I wouldn't say I have a bad feeling per se but I am preparing what could be to come in the next few days ahead.  I hate to say this but ignorance is something which we cannot always be protected against. Its our own individual responsibility to stay upto date on our investments, at the very least check up & monitor at a minimum of twice maybe three times per week (if not sooner like on an hourly basis!) to ensure you are on trend and with the curve. Its essential you stay up to date on current news and/or any important announcements.

To be clear the last thing I ever want to see any anyone person's involved with AERO/AM project to get hurt unnecessarily if there is something in my power to help fix.

I suggest we send the complainers back to Cryptsy. We have been warning them for a long time and they only reacted a few days ago. Maybe the get some Cryptsy points to compensate for their loss. Anyway I don't think there are many Aerocoins on cryptsy anymore.

This is a good suggestion which could go some way to providing a solution to the issue.
However, we are again assuming there will definitely be issues, we need to keep perspective adn wait to see what happens.

Perhaps when we have have a better idea of the types/range of numbers which are affected by this transition its definitely something which I could convey to the Cryptsy Team.

Cryptsy points could also be used as a partial percentage of the costs with the remainder being offset by both a combined effort from AeroME community donations and the CFund on an individual basis.

But I have the feeling we are again jumping the gun a bit here too..

I can only assume if Cryptsy points were to be offered by Cryptsy It would be a matter of a couple of weeks to a few months until any cryptsy points outlaid for this issue are fully recouped from "AM" trading fee's.

This is a great suggestion Kwattro and is something which I will bring up with the Cryptsy team after we have all the facts in place and a true reflection on the "actual" levels of exposure we have with this matter.

Regards,

Majika

Hi Kwattro,

No problem happy to try help, even if i do slightly over complicate the matter, I will try to explain it a little simpler ;/
Method #1

Quote
Moreover, I still don't know how to use the backup file (.dat) of the wallet.

To back up your wallet.dat file is simple copy and paste it to another safe location like a thumb-drive. the wallet.dat file is located in the following location (if using windows)

Code:
C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\aerome\wallet.dat
Swap "<name>" with your windows sign in username

Method #2

To back up wallet.dat is to do it via the actual wallet-qt client. So open your AeroME Wallet and in the top where it says "File" click that then the first option down that menu is "Backup wallet".
Click that and it will offer to save your wallet.dat file (usually to My Documents by default).

Quote
it is not very easy for me to understand all these things. What is clear is that staking is safe and the wallet must be unlocked.

Correct, staking helps both you (6% PoS) and the network by offloading some broadcast checking etc. Its perfectly safe, just be sure to "unlock" your wallet to stake. unlock means basically allow the network to use your wallet and become like a peer of the AeroME Blockchain network (in staking terms).

Quote
How can I open it on another computer? Can I switch my wallet by just copying the backup .dat file and opening it in another .qt application?

Your wallet.dat is your file, thats what basically contains your coins. You can open on another machine if you need to. but if you encrypted it with a password then be sure that you keep that password safe. To re-open on another machine you will need that password to decrypt that wallet.dat for it to run on another machine.

The AeroME (wallet.dat) will only work with AeroME wallets for example you can't use your aerome wallet.dat inside the Bitcoin-qt wallet.. They are not compatible.

Aerome wallet.dat works with the AeroME blockchain/wallet...

Quote
I can't find a way to browse for the .dat file. I ask this, because I would like to stake my coins on two different machines by copying the .dat file from on to the other every time. Is this possible?

You will need to split your coins onto two separate wallets. So on machine #1 have your coins there.
Then open second machine, download the Aerome wallet again there.
Then, Sync that wallet on the second machine.
Generate a new address on the second machine wallet
Now, from the first machine sends your coins from machine #1 (Wallet A) over to machine #2 (Wallet B) then you can stake those bad-boys on two machines.
There is not "Rewards" advantage to staking on two machines btw. You will not gain extra PoS rewards. I just thought i would state that.  But from a security/redundancy perspective you have split the risk and not have all eggs in same basket which is smart move i guess. I maybe just missing the point though Smiley

Quote
copying the .dat file from on to the other every time. Is this possible?

you can have multiple wallets for AeroME as with any other coin. there is no limit to the number of actual wallets you run, You may have port/connectivity issues as a side-effect of running many of the same wallets on the same machine but apart from port-forwarding and some .conf file wizardry you can run any number of AM wallets.

But in answer to that question NO you will not have to keep making backups of wallet.dat and move to second machine. As the Machine 2 (Wallet B) will be independent.
Think of each wallet as independent just you have half coins in one wallet and the other half in the other wallet.

Let me know if i missed anything out,

Majika.

P.S. I will have a hunt around later to find a nicely compiled guide that maybe will explain security issues a little better than what I can.
And outline some common "Do's and "Dont's" about cryptos security in general. With some basic concepts which may help you a bit better understand.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: February 18, 2015, 02:16:08 AM
Thanks Majika.

I still can't sync though, stuck on 1352 of 81380 and counting.

debug.log has a lot of 'ProcessBlock: ORPHAN BLOCK, prev=083ac96d7b715085122b' type stuff in it.

edit: my connections keep dropping to zero too. eg. 'connection from 68.96.191.5:51420 dropped (banned)'

Obviously I'm doing something wrong.  Huh

ok please check your aerome.conf file double check ports are correct

rpcport=6222
port=6221

I assume that your ports are correct otherwise you will not see any connections.

Next step is to do either one of the following.

Code:
> cd ~/.Aerome
 -rescan                Rescan the block chain for missing wallet transactions

alternatively.
remove the whole aerome dir backup wallet.dat and aerome.conf, reinstall aerome-qt and try to reync again.

if you still having issues after a full resync specifically add the following dnsseed values in the aerome.conf to see if It will force to connect.

Code:
-dnsseed               Find peers using DNS lookup (default: 1)

Code:
dnsseed=aerome.publicvm.com
dnsseed=aerome2.publicvm.com

I have checked the nodes and your IP is not an issue.
Look @ your "startingheight" : 81543 <===  looks like your nearly there.

Code:
"addr" : "68.96.191.5:6221",
"services" : "00000001",
"lastsend" : 1424224577,
"lastrecv" : 1424224577,
"conntime" : 1424217153,
"version" : 60015,
"subver" : "/aerome:1.0.0.3/",
"inbound" : false,
"startingheight" : 81543,
"banscore" : 0
},

Failing all the above few steps. Try to kill the process reboot and see if it will resync.

Another suggestion would be to peer from my home/office IP range but lets see how you get on with those bits first.
Manually addnodes=<IP's> to your config to get you to sync.

Keep me posted on how your getting on. any problems I will SSH over and fix.

Hi everybody. Just two simple questions because I am not very familiar with the wallets.

1) How does staking work exactly? The wallet has to be open and unlocked? Is that correct? Why unlocked, that makes it vulnerable, right? Rewards is 6%, that is on a yearly basis I guess?
2) How can I open my wallet on another computer using the backup .dat file. In which directory do I have to copy it?

Thank you!

First of all Staking is safe. just make sure you have a really long rcppassword=XGSJDimfkjhbe76kjbhg!!!
Encrypt you wallet (and wallet.dat) so only you have the password. Staking is safe.. just be sure to encrypt your wallet with a really strong password/phrase
and also in the aerome.conf file add a really long password in rcppassword=<really_Strong_pass>   (24chars + is good enough.)

Example of my config.
dont use the Server=1 option unless you want to act as a node or whatever Wink

Code:
Server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=aeromerpc
rpcpassword=AM345KQ8BbVcXpOolI3ErTaxcV
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
port=6221
rpcport=6222

** if you want to knock staking off for whatever reason you could use this :-

Code:
staking=0

Code:
-staking               Stake your coins to support network and gain reward (default: 1)

What the config switch settings mean.

Code:
-rpcuser=<user>        Username for JSON-RPC connections
-rpcpassword=<pw>      Password for JSON-RPC connections
-rpcport=<port>        Listen for JSON-RPC connections on <port> (default: 6222 or testnet: 16222)
-rpcallowip=<ip>       Allow JSON-RPC connections from specified IP address

Doesn't build on Xubuntu 14.04 or 14.10. QT fails with missing libqrencode header file and daemon fails with missing libmemenv header file. Same result with a clean Ubuntu 14.10 image in a VM.

Source downloaded from https://github.com/aeromasterdev/am-aerome as per link in OP.

Please fix or update build instructions.

Hi thelonecrouton
yes the leveldb issue was not documented correctly. I have included cut-down version of Tuxilla's guide

https://github.com/aeromasterdev/am-aerome/blob/master/doc/unix-build-guide.md

Thank you murderouskirk for stepping in on this one. This goes to show yet again how valuable a good community is to a project.
Both the content walk-through guide compiled and provided by Tuxilla and also to murderouskirk for pointing out to thelonecrouton where help can be found.

This is exactly why I encourage the community to come up with new and novel ways to use AeroME and cryptos in general AND TO SHOW others how to do the same..

Thanks,

Majika

Update:

The aerocoin.org domain has now been temporarily redirected and forwarded over to this thread.

Soon the aerocoin.org URL will be utilized in a better way.
For the moment all ties to AERO have to be removed and corrected to point to all things to do with AeroME.

DNS issues may still point to the old AERO website but in a few hours the DNS systems will fully propagate and will be updated globally.

Thanks,

Majika

Hello AeroMe community can I know the coin supply please?

Thx Smiley

12,000,000 coins
6% POS interest when coins are staked

According to my wallet getinfo:

"moneysupply" : 12015794.47167951

So that's total coins in circulation now  Smiley

cool thank you

To check PoS rate of 6% view the source code on GitHub. Link below to confirm

main.h - line 39
https://github.com/aeromasterdev/am-aerome/blob/master/src/main.h#L39

Code:
static const int64_t MAX_MINT_PROOF_OF_STAKE = 0.06 * COIN;	// 6%

This is a great reason for community members and investors alike to stake their coins with a nice reward.
It also helps the AM network to stay strong and healthy with more of us staking even if we decide to only stake something like 50% of our coins.
It takes seconds to Transfer coins from wallet to exchange so I cannot understand why there are so many coins held on Bittrex. Its kind of counter intuitive.
and members who are not staking are not fully capitalizing on their potential / acquired worth.

On another note, I hope you guys had a moment to have a quick read over the slack Q&A meetup lastnight.
I will for sure make an concerted effort to engage with you all on a bi-weekly/weekly basis via slack group.
It was a bit "off-the cuff" move dropping in unannounced kind of thing but it was a great few hours to chat those who were there.
The next session we will make some kind of pre-announcement and then try to pencil in a regular date and time for a "AM slack Q&A time" slot.

one final thought I wish to mention. I have the utmost respect for you all, you have been with me 100% of the way through this journey.
You couldn't even buy that kind of loyalty/support.

It really does speak volumes about you all as individuals and as a community willing to stick with something all the way to the end.
As I said in slack its humbling knowing I have this level of support from you and I am extremely grateful, and these few simple words do not do justice to how important this means to me personally and what its doing for my spirits. !

Thanks all.
Have a good day!

Majika  Smiley

P.S Check out the Twitter campaign (KL's Link above ^^^) its a great way to gain some interest for our project. Exposure is a real driving factor with what we are trying to achieve here.

Is this coin worth putting some BTC into or is it a pump and dump like LXC?

This coin is a buy hold and reap the reward type of deal.

Its been a long time in the making, it has a dedicated team and community and its going to show the way in crypto world in my opinion.

Buy in now, I don't believe you will be disappointed long term  Grin

"show the way in crypto world.." Well said !

AeroMe is offering an entire financial ecosystem.  to me this is an incredible jump in technology.

A blockchain based market, only one of the features, but the biggest to me.  a server-less market is quite the step for modern technology IMHO.

Smart contracts, annon abilities, payroll and HR, etc...

this shit is BIG

Yes Twiitch,
The whole kind of ethos for the AeroME platform and the project as a whole is about progressive thinking, The ways we "value" things in the real world and how this is translated to the new way of carrying out and transacting in this trustless based setting.

Potentially with global reach/global ability to offer goods/services and with global ability to manage send/receive funds, Global secure encrypted communications, Convenient merchant & marketplace services integration plus many other aspects this project will facilitate in will help to solve/cater for many things not just in the western world but also consider the potential applications in developing nations such as micro-transaction based economy use cases, etc.

New ways we define the notion about what "value" means will change for us during this new blockchain era.
How value is generated, how value is stored, shared, transferred and spent during these exciting new times will take on a new meaning.

These new definitions which blockchain technologies and services provide are all things which we will all be apart of.
During which time, no-doubt the way ppl think and how ideas adapt and evolve will be the fertile ground from which great ideas are born.

As our understanding and full realization about how and what cryptos/blockchain technology means, in a broad sense we are still in the discover phase technically speaking.
We will learn ways to leverage development discovery as we proceed.

This project will be innovating in these new areas as they arise and also complimenting these same up and coming innovations by integrating and provide ways to service these developments.

Focus will be on take-up rates of AM
wider cryptos adoption
cross spectrum Partnerships
help push the industry to becoming standards based.

These are all issues which we will be addressing in now and in the future.

So, March is the deadline? That would mean that development is close and the full platform will be released. The best thing in the world can still fall on its face without good marketing. Word needs to get out, if indeed this coin is going to be as powerful and wonderful as everyone is saying it is.

It can still fall on its face with 'or' without good marketing yes agreed. if you consider failure what the price is at one particular day as compared to the next then yes, that could constitute falling flat on ones face lol.. But like you say good marketing is essential. KL &  murderouskirk are pivotal in their roles as are the community as a whole.

IMHO, We need to break the thinking in terms of "coins" kind of thing.. from a forward thinking perspective and start to wrap our heads around and consider the alternative methods of revenue generation. Real world use..! the possibilities are endless.

AeroME Community,

Good job KryptoLydin.. Smiley

This OP was nicely done.

Like we previously discussed we can also "fatten" out the content as this project progress..
We kept old thread up but closed to any new posts. redirected here.

Its important to remember where we came from and is why the old AERO thread should be kept for posterity reasons.
It documents our history and shows our progression to this point.

Im excited and very happy with you all.
We have a great community and will only get stronger.

Now i can change the title for community posts from "Dear Aero community" to "Dear AeroME community"

Thanks guys.

Aero History

Aero was created 22-June-2014. By the developer, Majika.
The main goal with Aero was to create the decentralized marketplace exchange, AeroME.
11-Jan-2015 Aero completed a coinswap from Aero to AeroME.
Because Aero was not optimal for the platform, Majika created a new coin that was.
After half a year of work, the AeroME platform was announced to be released in February.

I suggest that he sells his remaining coins on Cryptsy and uses the BTC to buy AM on bittrex. The fund could provide the remaining amount of AM.

That's a valid suggestion however the idea is to try and take AERO from the markets and not push it back on.  That suggestion is possibly a short term fix to what could be a long term issue.

Glavos, do you have that as actual ASCII art? As if you do, that exact logo converted over to ASCII text will work nicely with the CLI-tool I've made for am devel.

Regards compmaster request for late swap (or whatever the reasons).

I have discussed a few option with compmaster and stated that maybe we as a community can carry out this swap from the CFund.
But as I said to compmaster I cannot go ahead and just "rubber-stamp" this request.

BUT I stated that we try to look after our own in this community both long term and short term investors/community members.

compmaster I hope you don't mind but i will make this public.

8888 AERO X 1.58333333 (Ratio) = 14072.66663704 AM

So, 14072.66663704 AM is what you will receive providing the community are good to allow this transaction to happen.

*If 14k is to much perhaps we can provide 10k or whatever.
The point is we must have consensus on things like this and try to help others whenever we can.

Ideas/thoughts/suggestions..

I also tip my hat to you guys (mitchr4) for stepping in regards the donations sent to  tr8kr.

Thanks.

Majika

::Note::

The status regarding Swaps is now officially OVER and has been over for quite some time now.
This is a one time deal and is done on an individual basis.
The final decision is not down to me its down to the community as a whole.
Please do not make any requests either here or via PM.
Furthermore, you must provide me with evidence which is typically a Transaction ID (TXID) which provides dates/times blocks# etc before even being considered.
This step is to ensure claims are indeed genuine and valid.

Hi all,

There are plans to try to kill two birds with one stone. end-users will not be effected in regards to downtime of the AM Blockchain.

The plan is to push out my custom build of AeroME daemon which I'm currently using for the AM-X Platform test builds.
During this same process, shuffle around some nodes which run the AM blockchain..

We have a few options available to us, they are to either a mandatory forced upgrade at a specific block height (call is a fork) or a none-mandatory update to the new custom daemon.

Myself and another dev friend who has assisted in helping me in the past with these issues..  We are both planning the best course of action as we bring services online without interruption to services.

We have a few options available to us which we can see in front of us at the moment. These options can change or be amended in our deployment methods and include:-

1) like I mentioned above, force a mandatory update and switch to the new daemon which I'm using on the AeroME-client at a specific block height.
   This method will guarantee everyone will be moved over and no "stragglers" are left behind using older wallet/code. This is the option I favor..

2) Roll out the update/changes without having end-users (the community) be forced to upgrade their wallets and kindly ask you update in your own time.
   This option in the past has not been very successful which is why i'm slightly hesitant on this option.

This is just food for thought at the moment but please consider this a "possible" "pre-heads-up" on whats to come.

Nothing will affect the Blockchain we will maintain a legacy blockchain as a fall back option during any transitions and your coins will always be safe. So don't get alarmed.

Unfortunately this is part and parcel of deploying the client and the platform services.

This is one of the reasons why I cannot provide early-access release to you all due to the fact I am developing on custom daemon/blockchain via mainnet.

I have requested community members running OSX to please participate in the early beta testing. IAMCrypto has kindly offered his services I do require about 5-10 OSX users.
So please spread the word.

Regards to the Logo issue.  It has being modified. And is still not a final revision some changes will be made.
The AM-X Platform Front-end has been moved from staging over to **Closed** LIVE location -- http://aeromeplatform.com/beta/app-landing-page.html
(I will open this up soon to a select few).

The version of the client which will be used for tests is ready but is missing some features (Initially I have disabled them) and some basic cosmetic parts which I am working on now.

Thanks guys,

Majika..

Community Project

Now I am really tired of how slow Cryptsy is to change from aero to aerome, and I am sure the rest of you guys are to!
Let's do something about this as the strong community we are.

Follow these steps to help:

1. Tweet to Cryptsy

Tweet this:
Code:
#cryptsy
Time to remove #aero market and add #aerome.
Was coinswap and you are hosting the wrong market.
Bittrex is getting all the fees.

2. Retweet and favorite this tweet
https://twitter.com/torrent_invites/status/563148379396800512

3. Send support ticket to cryptsy
https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

Do as much of this as you want. If we work together I am sure we can get them to change to AM.

Cryptsy To Remove AERO & Add AM

Thank you and good thinking KryptoLydin.
Yes, I firmly believe that acting as one on this matter regarding Cryptsy is much more efficient even if it means us adding some "extra" pressure to get
what we as a community need.

I thank those who have taken the time to submit a support ticket to cryptsy on the matter stated above with regards to AERO delisting and adding AeroME (AM).

Also, those of you who have made a ticket to support please publish your Ticket ID/Ref # in this thread so I/we can keep track of the number of us who have
made attempts at contacting Cryptsy Exchange.

Quote from: pagona
Ticket ID - 176174

Thank you Pagona I will reference this Ticket ID in my follow up requests to Cryptsy

I would also urge us all to show restraint in our frustrations and please show a level of respect when submitting our ticket requests to the Cryptsy Team.
As you could imagine they must be under a great deal of pressure due to the sheer number of requests they must have as an organisation of their size.

I will follow up on this issue (once again) based on the feedback here so far. I will continue to pursue my original support ticket(s) to resolve this matter in
the preferred and amicable way.

Furthermore, I will reiterate for those who are still wondering about whether AERO is officially supported by myself.
No, it is not, I cannot guarantee the validity of the AERO Blockchain.

I will make it as clear as I have done several pages back. I cannot maintain both projects on an individual basis. AM is the evolution of the AERO codebase.
With that being said it was coded differently and  these is no backwards compatibility nor, can any further swaps be done.
Swaps have ended a long time ago now and focus is purely on the (AM) AeroME coin codebase and the AeroME-Client and Platform systems.

This is the final sticking point to getting the whole older AERO blockchain sage behind us. Now its in our hands to try change this as a community effort.
Its Cryptsy's Job to listen to its customers / end-users and to our community. I need your help as they are sure as hell not listening to me!

Any thoughts or suggestions on how best to tackle this issue I am all ears!

::What can be done with a little ingenuity and brain-power::

Another issue which I believe should be praised was a guide which a fellow community member put together. Thanks to Tuxxilla for this one!..
Please checkout Tuxilla's post here:-

AeroME staking on Raspberry Pi

My job as a project developer is a fascinating role to be apart of, especially for such a supportive and loyal community.
Another part of my role as a dev is also educate both myself on a daily basis but more importantly others including us all as part of our community.

You all know my thoughts and beliefs regarding the whole Blockchain revolution we are living in today.
In my eyes we are the lucky & fortunate ones who have managed to spend the time to learn what it is to be a crypto-trade/crypto-investor and even how to mine altcoins.
These skills we take for granted as we all understand (even in a limited way) to the rest of the world this information we hole is way beyond their understanding and is why
I am a advocate for pushing ideas when I can beyond the walls of our community out to the wider world whenever possible.

Tuxxilla approached me a while back about his idea to do a guide for helping others to build a device which can stake coins..

As soon as I heard about this I immediately smiled as this is the kind of novel ideas which helps us all.. My rational is simple.. The easier we make entry into cryptos for the
general public the more the word will spread. Crypto adoption and take up increases and the greater the benefit will be for us all.

Its exactly these kind of well put together concise guides which are illustrated and explained well which are also simple enough to bridge information gap/void between Joe public
and the rest of us.

I hope his guide has helped you just as much as it will help others to understand what can be done in a fairly simple way using relatively cheap components.

Please help encourage others in our community to share their information, spend the time to compile these kinds of guides and showing our thanks
by offering a AM donate to Tuxilla: AKa3Cg46V2dQtu1JKa6XjCHUz69kSMy2gZ

A special Thanks to everyone who has supported me on this journey. A lot of price/volume activity & work has been seen/done.
We are starting to resemble a price which we can build from as we move forwards.

Respectfully,

Majika

P.S. A formal AM-X release statement / update due soon.  I am making a request for specifically OS-X/mac owners to submit their interest in beta testing. Please PM me with your details and please also include a basic breakdown of your Systems specs. Thanks

Yeah, I suppose you guys are right, I just like to keep our entire community happy..

And thaaat's why we like you DEV ^.^ Keep up the good work! Cheesy We can handle these shitty trolls haha..

Thanks!

tbh, I much prefer to focus on actual coding/work but over the months I have seen how important the community aspect is to endeavor's such as ours.
I have a whole host of features which I would like to focus on completing to continue on with this overall positive move.

I have to say that over the past few days I have found it quite hard to focus on my work and not to keep track/checks on the markets, lol...

Usually I never stick my head above water (in my case above my IDE screens)  but the last few days has been a real boost not only for my own morale but I feel its finally starting to pay off for the community..
All the hard work and effort on everyone's part has been immense. Its really satisfying and  good to know we are on our way to reaching some key targets.

majika, you are taking it too hard, this fartbag is typical fudder, talking bullshit, probably has few btc on bittrex and now is trying to manipulate price because either he wants more chep coins, or he is angry because he sold them to me for 1040sat, those few dips are nothing to worry about, you had a big rise

as bystander i may see your explanation being more fishy then this fudder trolling arround, but by now i know that it is what you are, you need to chill

Yeah, I suppose you guys are right, I just like to keep our entire community happy..
