Well, this was very intertaining, but it does not make a good reputation to Bytecoin. I'm worried now that goverment will try harder to control it.

I spend and then replace them. Then spend again Cheesy
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem in crypto currencies? on: September 05, 2014, 07:24:58 AM
- Security
- Goverment trying to invade crypto currencies
- Scammers
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be bigger than Facebook on: September 05, 2014, 07:21:38 AM
Right now its hard to imagine how Bitcoin will beat Facebook. I don't know how those people can be so certain about their statements.

Updates are good, but aren't we lacking activity on the promotion side?

Do you have any ideas?

No ideas needed! We need less cheap promotion and more focusing on technical issues. I mean, we're pretty focused already so we just need to keep it up! And screw the promotion. Those who really need Bytecoin will discover it easily.

As I know Bytecoin has a media fund and I think it's time to use it. Promotion is one of the necessary thing for the coin developing.

They wanted to
Quote
create a special resource that will allow us to get the latest content about BCN
Don't know what they are doing there, have they already started creating that special resourse or not, or maybe they need more donations. Anyway, if those donations were for that special resourse, it will be silly to waste em on random promotion just like that.

burnbabyburn71, replying to all these hateful comments in the same manner will make all this shit last forever.
Don't know any better way than ignoring it.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Major update NOW! on: August 16, 2014, 07:16:18 PM
There is one thing about the new update that literally made my day. Have you guys seen how much RAM space is taken by BCN blockchain?  Grin Its 500 MB! 500! Even shitty computers can handle it.
All those lost souls with shitty computers, it's time to celebrate!

You're right, guys!

I think we need create special fund for the development of the pool

Question for pool creators!

I don't think i'm ready to donate to this, i'm sorry.

Just an update: BCN has just reached all-time-low again, 2 satoshi on Poloniex.

It's also №24 on coinmarketcap.
Remember how great everything was in the beginning?  Aaaaaand its gone.

I don’t want Bytecoin to end up like this.

I've made an infographics comparing BCN and BTC (life those made by bitcoinexamner for BTC/LTC, BTC/NMC etc earlier. example)

Here's the small version:

Tidy! Looks good and very informative.

Guys, im not sure if this has been posted here before but there is a new GUI wallet for Bytecoin called Cryptonite XCN.
Discussion thread is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700039
Its still in development stage. Ideas and suggestions are welcomed.

Been there. They are planning to support Monero, Boolberry, DuckNote, and Quazarcoin as well.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: July 19, 2014, 06:00:09 PM
Does anybody know if there are any updates coming? We havent heard from out devs in a while.
We haven't even heard from Dstrange!
After this he disappeared!
Guys!
Somebody hacked my google account so I had to change my email address to drstrange.m@gmail.com
I also have no access to giveaway and now it's temporarily stopped.

Should be all good. He will fix his accounts  and come back here with the news!
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: July 15, 2014, 04:57:04 PM
I realised that developers show us their nicknames instead of names  Cool: http://bytecoin.org/happy-birthday-bytecoin

They were fake names anyway. What's the difference.

Absolutely no difference. Still love BCN!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin [BCN] vs MONERO [XMR] who will be the winner in the Cryptonote War on: July 12, 2014, 06:36:42 PM
What the hell happened to this thread??!!! Shocked

I just read the last few pages and would also like to know what's happened here! Not to use a soundbyte but really guys, what are you hoping to achieve with all this? Surely making peace not war is preferable to bashing - what will that do for any coin's success or the community image? Both are vitally important, I'm sure you wouldn't disagree there.

Peace, brother. IMO the best way to understand what coin is better is to wait a year or two and see what has happened to both.

Good point, i'm staying with Bytecoin.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero or Bytecoin? on: July 12, 2014, 06:16:57 PM
Monero and Fantomcoin, the rest of cryptonote coins are legit jokes.

Oh, you gotta be joking then.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero or Bytecoin? on: July 12, 2014, 06:06:09 AM

We won't let nobody bring us down! Whatever haters do, Bytecoin is here to stay! 2 years is just the beginning!
Happy Birthday Bytecoin!
