21  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 01, 2014, 04:30:05 PM
I made an order for 2 Ths on 11/29/2014 and it has not been fulfilled yet.  The amount sent is correct and exact.
They are certainly taking a lot longer this time.  Are they running out of miners?

This would be an evidence of loss of money.

My Q is elsewhere. If a Ponzi can pay better than a real service, then what is the purpose of running that service at all from business point of view ?

Do you even know what a ponzi is?  Its a scam. It can only pretend to offer high rewards right until when it collapses because not enough new investors buy in to it, and the scammer runs off with the loot.  Calculate your "profits" if you bought last month and pbmining runs off next month.

What do you think about the fiat currency being a ponzi?

On one acc, I have 1350 GHS, according to the dashboard, I should get 0.10143842
I received this amount. To the satoshi. So no difference between the dashboard and the payout.

But I also believe I should have received around 0.1179. Strange...

So u have got 86% of the theoretical yield. Looks like all the payments are within the range of 80% to 90%. Is it the historical data or PB mining used to pay 100% at some point of time ? Can u guys plz check your previous week's payment and report here ?

Can someone tell me why I got -0.010100 btc after mining for a week in cex.io?  I have 500 ghs.

That's Pbmining.com They don't have any fees

Then how would they make any profit? Do you think they're buying hardware from manufacturers and selling it to you at cost? Do you think they have free data centres and get free electricity?

Stop being so naive.

They have acres and acres of solar power array.

Why are you in a rush to get me to confirm this?  You've got 11 months before you should begin worrying (/hoping). Its not gonna take me that long to organize escrow. I OTOH, cant be too sure you'll be around come Monday.

Anyway, as escrow I propose Tomatocage or Bitbob:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0

I have yet to ask either if they can do 3 way signature, but Im assuming at least one of them can. Let me know if you can live with those choices.

As for the phrasing of the bet; lets call it pbmining.com and not "pb". I also want to stipulate that I win the bet if payouts substantially diverge from theoretical mining yields. So for instance if pbmining comes up with some new fee or whatever, to reduce payouts to a few satoshi, or declares being hacked/fire/whatever and begins paying out just a fraction of what would be expected based on difficulty, I still win.

Does puppet work for cex.io who charges so much mining fees?

Trust me, I hear you loud and clear. I'm stuck dealing with bitmain right now, for compensation and an rma for my latest S4 that came with a dead hash board. Dealing with them is horrible, like pulling teeth. I've got 4 other just about perfectly working S4s, though, and I can't really complain about them since their issues have mostly been resolved. Still a few bugs to squash and they'll be solid.

At the end of the day, ROI is still king though. I can get 8.8 TH/s for 200$ more if I go with S4s, vs 4.9 TH/s.

I really don't mean to thread shit SP, and I hope that's not how this is coming across. I'm legitimately trying to justify an SP31 and I'm hoping for someone to weigh in. It won't take much to be honest, if only to treat myself to the crème de la crème of Bitcoin hardware.

What's an 8.8 Ths gonna do you if they are not hashing?  Go with Spondoolies you can't go wrong.

I got asked those same questions when I warned people not to invest in various usagi schemes. People who didnt listen lost  ~100%
Patrick Harnett starfish/kraken ponzi. People who didnt listen lost  ~100%
Pirate. People who didnt listen lost  up to 100%
cryptx  (my supposed 'darling'). People who didnt listen lost  ~80%
Then there was Labcoin, BT Trader, AMT,

So you're like the Guardian of BTCs...a superhero.  Should we call you superman, btcman, super btcman?

Quote
Nope, but it is the value of my BTC thats constantly being degraded by these scams that strongly associate bitcoin with scams and put pressure to increase regulation and enforcement. So yeah, you are messing with my wallet.

Besides that, Ive been in to bitcoin since quite a long time, and have yet to lose a satoshi to scams, so I did quite well for myself. I can afford to spend some time informing bitcoin newbies. Its a free world you said, so Im allowed am I not?

Wow. You must have a trillion BTCs?  BTC is no longer a free currency because you dictate how people use them.

What's your proof of BTCs being degraded or is this all mere invention in your head?
Do you feel that you are the founder of BTC because you first read about bitcoin in wikipedia a decade ago?  Is this why you feel so righteous?

28  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 26, 2014, 05:23:23 AM
Who is the idiot here?

You, if you havent sold/withdrawn your profits.
And if you have, then you're a scammer because then its clear you also realize its a ponzi, but you got out in time.

Puppet, it's not your btc that's being gained or lost.  Why can't you stay out of it?  Why are you projecting so much hate.  It's a free world, people invest in whatever the hell they want to.

Are you jealous you are not earning money?  So, what is it?  Why so much hate?

What say you?
29  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 25, 2014, 04:06:38 PM
BTW, it was this doggieman idiot who had been sitting here
for months whining about not being able to find out who runs
PBM.

I can't take you seriously when you call me an idiot then immediately show off your ignorance by calling my avatar a "doggie".

Quote
These people really are thick. How they can find other
morons who take them seriously will continue to be beyond me.

The funny thing is that the only people who take you seriously are noobs with no history/experience, meanwhile the people who share my view have years of mining experience and have been around long enough to see history repeat itself over and over again, yet the noobs never learn.

Even bitcoin's chief scientist (Gavin Andresen) shares the opinion that many cloudmining companies are ponzis.

You're country probably uses fiat currency ponzi scheme.  Are you going to rant about that?
30  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 25, 2014, 04:03:51 PM
They are responsive to requests, but very firm about changes (Bitcoin or email address).

Also I'm throwing my hat in the ring for us finding a way to trade contracts on here. I have 521GHS across three contracts, same account, if anyone can make a solid offer I'll consider selling. If that goes well I have another account that I'll see about.

You can try to put if for sale in the digital goods section, allow people to make offers.

Why are you selling? Already ROI?

I'd like to move everything over to cex.io. I like pbmining, consistent, but I don't like that I can't sell my GHS. I didn't mind this for a bit, but now I prefer to move my coin about sometimes.

I take it you haven´t mined at CEX ?

I've mined at pretty much all the various sites. As I get older let's just say I'm content to stick with cex and it's high-cost but fancy brand over smaller sites that more and more I feel I cannot trust. Trying to find information on these sites is almost impossible. Can anyone tell me anything about who runs pbmining or where and so on? It's a risk, of course, but I'm just not into anymore. I'll very likely be mostly trading on cex rather than mining these days.

If you´re looking for negative payouts CEX is the place.

You´ve been sitting here how long without knowing who runs
PB Mining ?

ROFL. Ditto on the negative payouts.

Payday Smiley

You know it!  Take that ponzi.  If it acts like a duct and pays like a duck....
33  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 19, 2014, 04:43:43 PM
Any one got ROI from this PBMining hashing shares?
Else how much is your ROI % now from start?

Hi There,

Create an account and you will see everyone's current btc mined for the week.

You will be able to go to the Global Stats page and see everyone's earnings:

User/Hash/BTC Current Week/BTC Total Paid

Example: User xxxx    22100  0.91036303     1.11352469

I am not affiliated with pbmining.  I am a customer.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: November 17, 2014, 01:46:12 AM
Still getting btc weekly.  Is this like playing musical chairs?  You better hope you have your ROI back before the music stops.

Guy,

Thanks for you and your team on taking care of my general issues (from SP31 RMA's to SP30's running in your DC).
SPTech product and service is exemplary and unmatched.

Sincerely,

My SP-31 RMA arrived and it's running at less than half-speed.   Angry
Colo is reporting bad PSU.  Not good.  Do I need an RMA for the RMA?

Now running at 1.57 Th/s (Expected hash rate of the SP31 is 4.9TH/s +- 5%)

We'll RMA both units and improve our support procedures with Minersource.

Guy

Thank you.

Guy,

My two SP31 October batches are defective.  My ROI is basically screwed.  Sh*t happens.

The first SP31 never came up with the latest firmware etc.
The second SP31 with the latest firmware ran for a while and now it's basically as good as dead.

Minersource tech support (the colo that is hosting my SP31's) is waiting for Zvisha's reply.  But I got an email fro sptech today saying Zvisha is waiting for Minersource.  We are going in circles.

I really don't want to deal with two dead SP31's.  Minesource has put too much effort trying to get these SP31's online.  I had already purchased two hosting that will not even be used for this.

Could I get authorization to return these two defective SP31's?

Please reply.

Your Loyal and Return Customer.

It would be nice to see BTC below $200  Grin
I disagree. It will cause only 2-3 manufacturers to survive, which is a real threat to the ecosystem, IMHO.

The ecosystem is already under threat.  Grin You do not need to see under $200 to see beads of sweat forming on the fabricators brows.

I have to go back to the workforce and find a job again if that happens.
