1. While swaping on pancake BNB with any other crypto.....we pay the same price which is being shown in CoinMarketCap?
2. While swaping they show 0.01% fees. Is this the only fees we are paying? I don't think so, because I think more than 0.01% is being deducted. For eg.as I am new, I did my first transaction by swaping BNB with PKR for approx $3.3 but from my account, more than $4 was deducted. I had balance (total value of all crypos ) of $15 in my Trustwallet, but after swapping it came down to $13.5 ( total value of all cryptos in my account) . There was no big price change in BNB or PKR during this period.

1. CMC will fetch price records for a few minutes from multiple sources before updating and that will result in a possible discrepancy with the current price. You can use dex chart sites to track live prices like dextool or poocoin.

2. Slippage is not a swap fee, it is a token price tolerance that you will incur to reduce swap failures. During the swap process, however, prices still fluctuate.
 More about Slippage

if i swap on poocoin app rather than on pancake swap, does it make any difference in transaction fees? I am newbie and currently my each transaction is of only $5, so fees does matter me Smiley
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / cannot find BSC coin on Pancakeswap on: November 16, 2021, 01:13:34 PM

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to Place limit order in Pancakeswap? on: November 14, 2021, 11:12:06 AM
If you're interested on advanced trading order like that, why not use a cex like Binance? AFAIK dexes don't really focus on this, so your choice will be quit limited.

If the problem is KYC, maybe you should try to buy a bot, or build your own tool. Use an API to check the price from Coingecko or something similar, and then execute the order if the average price hit your target. Easier said than done ofc, but that's your only option.

The problem in using Binance / gate.io / kucoin is that they list the crypto-only after they are moved a lot. If we want to buy, before they are moved only option is to use pancake / uniswap .etc.

Thank you everybody for the reply.

From all reply, I got 1 confusion......

1. While swaping on pancake BNB with any other crypto.....we pay the same price which is being shown in CoinMarketCap?
2. While swaping they show 0.01% fees. Is this the only fees we are paying? I don't think so, because I think more than 0.01% is being deducted. 1. Does this means I am paying extra fees.......first I paid for converting BNB to USDT, then while swaping I again paid fees to ROUTE USDT - BNB - My TOken
Yes, you can see it on the confirm page that there is a fee before you confirm the swap, if nothing shows then there's no fee for the swap of the particular token/coin on BSC.

1. Should I stop this converting BNB to USDT.
If your purpose is just to check the usd price of the swap, and if it matters to you the cents for fee, then better stop.

2. Is there any way to calculate and to know , while swaping BNB to My TOken what USDT price I am paying for that token?
AFAIK there's an automatic computation in the swap page every time you change the number in the "You Pay", the "You Get" will give you a hint on how much you will get and check the conversion of the token to usd in coinmarketcap (their converter is in the lower left side in desktop mode) website as trustwallet uses cmc for their pricing conversion.
Where Does Trust Wallet Get Coin Pricing Data From?

Can you please share link of CMC converter page link, as I was not able to locate it on my PC or screenshots.

I just want to know, for EG.. while swaping BNB with CAKE what price I am paying for CAKE in USDT
27  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Please suggest on saving fees on Trustwallet on: November 13, 2021, 04:54:39 AM
On Trustwallet I transferred BNB from MEXC through Smart Chain.

Now, I have BNB Smart Chain in my TW ( Trustwallet )

I was feeling difficult in calculating price while swaping. So I first converted BNB to USDT so that it becomes easy for me to understand at what price I was swaping.

BUT, now while swaping I see ROUTE as......... USDT -> BNB -> My token which I want to purchase.

So,
1. Does this means I am paying extra fees.......first I paid for converting BNB to USDT, then while swaping I again paid fees to ROUTE USDT - BNB - My TOken

If yes,
1. Should I stop this converting BNB to USDT.
2. Is there any way to calculate and to know , while swaping BNB to My TOken what USDT price I am paying for that token?

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we buy ETH / SOL other chain tokens on TrustWallet? on: November 12, 2021, 10:59:38 AM
Thank you everybody for replying and solving my doubt.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we buy ETH / SOL other chain tokens on TrustWallet? on: November 12, 2021, 06:37:06 AM
1. AFAIK you can't buy other chains coins on Trustwallet, you only can buy on-chain coin. But you can swap your on-chain coin to other chain (limited, only for ERC-20, BEP2, and BEP20). I don't see any other multicoin wallet offer this many features, Atomic doesn't listed many coins as Trustwallet do. Usually exchanges will support many chains, but it's exchanges not wallet.

2. It depends on volume transactions and how busy the network is, so if you're looking cheaper fees you can choose not popular/low volume chains. SOL and TRX are the option now.

So, I can understand from this, is, SOL and TRX chain has low transaction fees but they are not supported on Trustwallet. Right? For that, I have to use different wallets.....
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can we buy ETH / SOL other chain tokens on TrustWallet? on: November 12, 2021, 04:05:42 AM
I am learning to use Trustwallet. Can anybody please throw light on this

1. Like we buy BSC chain coins on Trustwallet, same way can we buy, ETH / SOL / TRX or other chain coins on Trustwallet? If yes, then please inform how? If no, then is there any other wallet where we can buy all such chain coins from 1 single wallet so that I don't have to maintain multiple wallets? If it is  safe/ secured and beginners friendly then good  Cheesy

2. Out of all chains like BSC /ETH / SOL / TRX, etc...which is cost-effective. I am new to the crypto market and thus don't invest more than $5 ot $10 per coin in a single transaction. Currently, I feel BSC fees, are bearable for a $5 investment. Does this same apply to other chains also?  Huh
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with 1st transaction on Trustwallet / Pancake swap on: November 10, 2021, 01:29:04 PM
This is the first time, I am using trustwallet / pancake swap

I am swaping Smart Chain BNB with MiniKishu

While swapping I am getting error as

"the transaction cannot succeed due to error: cannot estimate gas: the transaction may fail or may require manual gas limit"

I tried to change slippage from 0.5% to 1.0%

please inform what is the meaning of slippage and how to set manual gas limit as per above error

please help

Shitcoins usually require high slipage from 5% to 10%
But if after you try it and still get an error, I suggest you to do a swap in poocoin.app , there it's the same as pancakes, but the slipage will automatically adjust, so you won't get an error

bro, is poocoin safe, because never heard about it earlier

Try to make the Gas fee automatic because you want to buy a MiniKishu with the BNB you currently have via swap, so make it automatic without having to edit it because swapping always costs twice, the first is to Approve and the second is to Swap.

How to make gas fee automatic?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with 1st transaction on Trustwallet / Pancake swap on: November 10, 2021, 12:08:36 PM
the last thing.....currently I transferred Smart Chain BNB from KuCoin to Trustwallet for swaping. Instead of BNB can I use USDT to swap? As I feel more comfirtable in USDT rather than in BNB. Please clear this doubt.
Yes, you can use USDT but you must have BNB for the swapping fee, you can use any token to buy from Pancakeswap if you have Some BNB for fee.

Thank you BRO.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with 1st transaction on Trustwallet / Pancake swap on: November 10, 2021, 11:28:35 AM
what is the meaning of slippage here?
Took me just seconds to find out what it meant.

Slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is executed. Slippage can occur at any time but is most prevalent during periods of higher volatility when market orders are used. It can also occur when a large order is executed but there isn't enough volume at the chosen price to maintain the current bid/ask spread.

Hope it does help you.

thank you dear for your help.

I tried to change slippage from 0.5% to 1.0%
Try to increase it like 10 to 20% slippage. Its also related to gas fee on how your transaction could be successful. I am also having the same error when trying to buy some token with a very low slippage. Then I just did was increase slippage one by one until I can get at least which slippage figure is require to complete the transaction.

I don't know how to fiuure out how to manage and learn the minimum for slippage that's why Ive just increase it by 1 percent every time until I get it done.

what is the meaning of slippage. does slippage, means
1. we are paying for fees or
2. we are paying high price?

what is the meaning of slippage here?

Dear, on binance.org while clicking bridge- it shows only metamask option - there is no trustwallet option
Binance Bridge does not natively support Trust Wallet, you need either Metamask or Binance Wallet.

Since you are using Trust Wallet, to do the bridge you can refer to:
How to Setup Binance Chain Extension with Trust Wallet
and then
How to Peg-Out Assets (V2).

Do your diligence regarding choosing of what the correct network you want/needs.

Does Binance Wallet and Trustwallet performs same function - I mean from Binance Wallet also I can sway on pancake? If yes, then why to use Trustwallet, I will use Binance Wallet only.
Binance Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Metamask does have the same function, and yes you can use them to swap in Pancakeswap. It is all a non-custodial wallet which means you are in control of your own key, so it's also good.

The thing is, Trust Wallet are specifically Mobile wallet, so you have a limitation using that wallet across many dApps, while on another hand, especially Metamask, since it is widely used, it will have much support across dApps, and it also has mobile support. If you have nothing in favour of choosing a wallet, I suggest you use the Metamask Wallet.

Edit:
I forgot to mention that Trust wallet also has some advantages which it supports many cryptocurrencies wallet.

thank you dear for Your help. With your and other fellow members, I have solved the issue. I transferred TRX to MEXC and then transferred BNB to Trustwallet. Now, I can swap coins easily.

thank you, everybody. Is there any way to give THUMBUP / UPVOTE to everybody's replies here on forum? I would like to do now, my part of duty by giving uptvote or thumbs up to everybodies reply. ( i searched but there were no such buttons )  Smiley
