I understand your points, but in order to accept other currencies/blockchains we would need atomic cross-chain transactions. I know there are a few people looking into that but as far as I know there are no POC's out yet let alone a proven solution. For instance, how would we enforce a BTC 3 party multi-sig from within Crave. Actually, I do know one way that we could do it, but it would require that users run a full BTC node in addition to the Crave wallet and it is relatively complex to build. The fact that it is challenging doesn't mean a flat "no", but maybe it is something to put on the roadmap to look into after the market release with the understanding that it could be weeks or months of R&D work to build and test the solution. Almost done with the native I2P integration  I updated the code for the latest secp256k1 and will get that checked in soon as well.  right on, sounds interesting... is that for the market integration? lol I'm not a techie so it sounds like latin to me The multi-sig escrow workflow is the key for the market   Let's do it, after the market drop. I was holding off on dropping a new Windows wallet build until I could include the escrow manager. If you want a build sooner let me know, I can do one with the I2P stuff. The code is already up in github.
The issue with darksend is that there is a hardcoded collateral address in there, which I find a little scary. I want to look at it and evaluate it before making that stuff visible in the UI again.
jase there are a couple of ways to achieve connection encryption like that. We use something like that under the hood for the escrow orchestration and market infrastructure.
Comments like that, only proves how much expert is ICM.  This is the difference of a good coin with a dev who knows what he is doing, after hearing your comment about darksend, you guys can notice that crave is legit and not a copy cat like too many other coins, you can chill and retire here, just buying coins at these stupid cheap prices. This coins has more development in a month than others coins in all their life. Crave is rock solid coding coin, just picked up more 1K today. So CRAVE comes out with PoS Masternodes and now we see a flood of PoS Masternode scamcoins + scamcoin revivals using PoS Masternode
is there anyway to protect the tech or at least make it closed source until CRAVE can build up marketshare?
I haven't seen any clones that actually work yet Which would explain why they are all asking me to help them. It is sufficiently technically complicated to do it right that I think we will be ok. It's really just one feature in our entire platform anyway. Dev, keep good job, just picked up a little more cheap crave. |
