21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My favorite loser on: May 18, 2024, 11:10:28 AM
If that's the behavior of the loser being so arrogant I wouldn't bet him as my favorite, and never in my gambling activities got favoritism on particular player who lose badly.
When I bet for sports betting, it's only for the game and not for specific individual who performs the sports. I care about their emotions, they're same humam like us, a special being who strive harder in their career.
So here in gambling it's more like sportsmanship, if win then you're lucky them if not well we should accept the reality that it's not our time of fortune.

There is money to be made here, the odds are always better on such people but it is a smart move betting on this tennis player, I can't help but do the same, it is not as if i will be rewarded for choosing some who is cool headed, when it comes to money you need to be smart.

If someone's temper or anger issue is how I can make money then why not? It was never meant to be easy anyway, and knowing his to be this arrogant is good for my money, who cares? We are all humans, I don't expect everyone to be cool-headed, some will surely be arrogant.

I don't have a favorite loser to bet on like OP because I don't have the time to dig into someone else's life and behaviour, I am more of a casino game gambler I like slots and few others and the only sports game i like is football.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino gambling is more of profit chasers while land base is more of fun on: May 18, 2024, 09:13:21 AM
Those who don't like going outdoor knows how to derive fun from online gambling too, there is always fun present in gambling either online or offline, you choose.

It depends on who we are, and fortunately there is online casinos and also offline casinos, I am someone who don't have all the time to go out and gamble, because my business is all about crafting and it is always indoors.

My online job is also indoors, a quiet haven where I can think deeply, this is why I believe that online gambling is good for me, I can do it on my free times and in a private space, where no one will know what I am up to.

Gambling online is related to profit making and so is offline gambling, this hard times no one visits the casinos nearby to catch crusie with friends.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: May 18, 2024, 07:12:34 AM
I suppose its much better to let it ride until you feel bad about losses. I would never kill my lucky mood and keep gambling until I start to lose drastic amount of money. Then I would stop myself.

You have this feeling of luck mood in you? What if it gets too late before you wake up from your slumber? Sorry to call it slumber because the luck mood you made mentioned sounds like someone who is under some intoxication.

I envy you, I would like to know how much this have worked for you so far, this isn't the first time I will hear such on this forum, especially when they are talking about slots games, it will get to a point where the winning will just keep coming nonstop and they feel good with it.

I have never waited around for such, I always take my profits right after, I stick to this idea that the more time I spend in gambling the bigger the chances that things will fall apart.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing all your fortune with just 3 years on: May 18, 2024, 06:02:27 AM
I’m not sure if this story was already shared here but I just recently watch this gambler sad story from social media that is really heartbreaking.

The subject is Terrance Watanabe which is a successful businessman who has a huge business and money that becomes addicted on gambling. He lose a total of 127M which is all his fortune that he earn from his business. Imagine all your hardworking was turn out to nothing after a few years of gambling addiction.

The sad part here was he became a victim of casino scheme of alluring user with their offers and allowing him to play while drunk until he loss everything.

He manage to wager a whooping 825M $ in just a single year when he lose that 127M.

Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gambler-lost-127m-in-2007-sues-casino/

As a gambler who likes visible-located casinos, don't ever take any free drinks or food from the casino, you can be a target without you knowing that you are.

Especially people who are rich like this man, they will want to get the best of him for sure, he let his guide down and got stung, I will blame the casino for these losses, they are preying on him to make him lose.

I also don't get why many rich men like this person will decide to gamble with millions, I have friends who told me that if they can get some amount every month as salary they will stop gambling forever.

The reason why many people are into gambling is to make money, and the other few are here to have some fun, many will choose to walk away from gambling if they are already worth millions in dollars.
25  Economy / Gambling / Re: I would like to place a $1,000,000 bet on: May 17, 2024, 01:21:56 PM
Your money your choice.

Still I find this choice to be crazy, a million dollars on betting is stupid, you could end up on the street if things go south for you, if you really can afford to lose a million dollars you won't be available on this forum to ask this question, I could be wrong but I doubt.

Let see, if I have a million dollars now, I can easily turn it to 2 million dollars investing in Bitcoin, all I need to do is wait for few months, even putting this amount into Ethereum will net me easy 2x, way safer than using this huge amount to gamble online.

OP, are you for real?
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hit the MAX WIN on Zeus vs Hades—$240K payout in crypto! 🚀🚀🚀 on: May 17, 2024, 10:27:01 AM
but the sad thing in this is that OP is not given a chance to take the funds all in instead via Installment
I don't know what is their plans or maybe they just wanted to let the winner try his luck more? because they
knew that for sure that player will be attempting to gamble more since he has funds inside that casino and
since he cannot take them out so he has no choice but to gamble more?
there was this case in the past that I read in this forum that has the same situation and that said
claimant have lose all the money even the casino let him withdraw because of that delaying tactics , I will
not deal with this site for sure.

I don't like these limitations, they allow people to bet high and if they win they delay their payments for months... It's a shady practice, and sadly many casinos have these withdrawal limitations. Delaying tactic just to make players continue to gamble, or they don't wish to hurt their "bankroll" too much, anyway it's not fair.

Well, OP shared that he got 5 ETH. Maybe he will come again and share more about his story with ETHCasino. I would like to know if he will get his money in the end.

I would like to know if this casino is a popular one because that could be the problem if the casino isn't generating enough money weekly they will put restrictions on the amount that OP can withdraw daily, I think the casino is still new and struggling to survive because I don't see any reason that is better than this one.

If OP used Stake he would have gotten paid but mind you, he might not get this luck using a popular online casino like some of my friends used to say, I hope he will keep coming back to this thread to keep us updated, and I hope he withdraw all the amount successfully.

Allowing gamblers to bet very high means they can lose very big too, this doesn't mean the casinos should check their account balance first before allowing gamblers to bet high.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your slices Luck that would have made you millionaire in gambling? on: May 17, 2024, 08:46:10 AM
I don't want to be in that situation, it is an eternal punishment.

Gambling will make you feel like it is possible to be a millionaire, but at the same time it is impossible, this is killing you on the inside if you believe so much in such nonsense, don't go looking for something out of nothing, be a realistic person, you must believe that working harder and investing is the only way you can become financially free and gamble for fun sakes only.

Always use what you can only afford to lose, and if luck is truly on your side you will win big, this is a different case than expecting to win big, it is not healthy and this is what fuels gambling addiction.

I have never dreamt of becoming a millionaire through gambling, even if this is possible it should happen when I don't expect it, this is more healthy than hoping, I feel better risking what I can afford in gambling, it is better if people do the same..
28  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What motivated you to join the forum? on: May 17, 2024, 07:26:09 AM
The creator of Bitcoin is on this forum  Shocked

This got me pretty hooked when I read it from somewhere online, i was not new to the forum then I just decided not to use it because I had no reason to, not knowing that I was deceiving myself.

Merely stumbling on this forum could make you walk out in seconds, thinking about what could possibly be on here that you already don't know everything I know about crypto then was through Google search engine.

Until I read that the creator of Bitcoin is on here, I started thinking that I could ask him some questions and I found out that he isn't active anymore, this was what pushed me to start reading on the forum, and then I loved it more.

I never knew that airdrops were possible on here because years back many airdrop platforms were available so I used them to make money, it was later I found out that you can join airdrops and bounties on the forum too.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: May 17, 2024, 06:09:00 AM
No one would invest and keep on holding till they die, everyone invest to gain profit, and they would surely take it when they reach their goal.
What's the point on investing if you wouldn't even use your profit? it is an investment not charity do you plan on just being a contributor to make the price higher?
Agree. There is no one who plans to hold Bitcoin until he dies. Everyone who buys Bitcoin must plan to sell their Bitcoin at a certain price. He must expect to take profits from the investment, it is a normal way of people in Bitcoin investment. Although there are people who hold Bitcoin for many years, I'm sure they will also sell the Bitcoin and take profits someday in the future.

It is pretty true that it doesn't make sense if people always keep holding without any purpose. Why people spend their money in Bitcoin if they never get profits? I sounds quite strange that there are people who never sell their Bitcoin. Honestly, I never met the typical of people who hold Bitcoin for many years.

While hodling can be profitable, but we will only come to realize those real profits if we decide to sell them after years of keeping them. That’s the only way where we can enjoy our hard-earned profits once we start selling them for real. However, we can always decide not to sell them all but sell just a portion of them, that is if we are still looking forward for our future profits. While bitcoin can satisfy our longing for profits, but knowing its value appreciates more in the years to come, then it’s best to sell them in portion every year so we can still increase the amount of our profits.

This is correct but some holdings will turn to huge amount of money that we can't spend all, unless we start buying things that we don't need, many people only want to have great life experience that is why they use Bitcoin as their own Gold.

For example, I have most of my money in Bitcoin and I have decided to acquire more Bitcoin as time goes on, this doesn't mean that I won't spend some if need be  and I will take profits when Bitcoin makes a new high so that I will have enough to use for buy back in the next bear market.

Banks are reserves for humans, today Bitcoin is my own reserve, at least I will be ahead of inflation, unlike Fiat money, if I need to spend I will go into my Bitcoin wallet, as if I am operating my bank account.

Realized profits you say? I don't care much about this because Bitcoin is a digital gold, it is only newbies who don't understand the four-year circle will believe that they missed the top already, if you want to secure some funds then do it when Bitcoin makes an ATH.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the Worst online Casino you've played on so far? on: May 16, 2024, 09:52:29 AM
There are different reasons why people feel like a casino is worse, but the most common reason is how often they win, a less fortunate casino is the worst ones for many gamblers, who cares about designs when you are winning?

If the games are playable, if I can withdraw my wins then I am good even if the casino has ugly designs, I don't like jumping from one online casino to another unless I use the casino for too long and I never get lucky, my own "too long" means after trying my luck for months and no luck finds me, this is a good reason enough to change the casino.

The worst experience a gambler can face is that if dubious casinos like 1xbit and others, a cheating casino is the worst experience anyone can have, I have never used such online casinos before because I always choose from the bests, if you can do this you won't have any worst experience as a gambler, but like i have said, everyone has different reasons why they will call an online casino worst.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 16, 2024, 08:56:28 AM
Let's say you have a job that gives you the option to have your salary paid in BTC, ETC, or any other cryptocurrency, would you prefer that or would you rather still be paid in fiat? If you'd prefer crypto payment, which currency would you choose and why?

This would be your hard-earned money that can either grow on its own or shrink in value within a short time.

I would love to accept crypto as my monthly salary, they will do me the favor of DCAing with no extra charges while trying to exchange Fiat into crypto, but it won't make a difference to many people, because they still need money to live, they have bills to pay, so most of that money will be changed back to Fiat.

As you can see, it makes no sense to get paid in crypto when you will be needing fiat to survive, unless you are the type that has more than one job that pays, so you can accept crypto payments here and Fiat as payment in another job.

If you want to accept Bitcoin as payment, then it should depend on the person paying for the transaction fee, if it is the company then it is welcoming, but if you have to pay for the transaction fee I don't think it is worth it, every coin count, and few times in a week you will see Bitcoin transaction fee going higher.

If you have other means of surviving it will be cool to get paid in BTC and hold, especially now that we are in a bull market, your whole salary can easily turn into double in a few months later or even more.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People are interesting talking more about their success stories. on: May 16, 2024, 07:43:20 AM
I see more of success stories of bitcoin, like how people invest bitcoin for their parents,  uncles,  and themselves to make fine profit. These stories are very interesting one and good to listen of what bitcoin has done for people but it makes me wonder if people don't have stories of failure about bitcoin. In the real life I see people who talk about their failed investment because of not having the right knowledge.  But here everyone talks about success stories and it makes me wonder if people are shy to talk about their failures, it can also help other people to learn. Learning is not just about from successful investment.

I made it out alive, but it was never easy, every success story has its past struggles and many people won't want to share that maybe because it was ugly or embarrassing, i as a person do not care.

I went through hell to have a better change in life, from starvation to heavy stress on my body, I have to walk miles everyday to get to where I am going, and still keep money to invest in Bitcoin.

Since 2016 to 2021 I have hunted for more than 500 different airdrops to make extra money so that I can buy more Bitcoin, there is no cloud mining websites I don't know, there is no faucets websitess I don't know, I did it all.

In the end I got lucky multiple times, I made some life-changing money, even from airdrops, and the man who stood with me all along encouraging me to never give up ended up dead the same year that I became financially free, this life is not balanced.

I myself got sick that I narrowly escaped death, and that was because of the stress that I put myself through in the past years, I paid the price.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As newbies we should know the significant risk in trading on: May 16, 2024, 06:40:13 AM
There is so much money to be made from trading, I get it, that's why many newbies rush into trading, but honestly, trading is not for crypto beginners, many beginners lack the funds to invest and trading is best for someone who makes daily income somehow because they will be able to use a small percentage of their earnings to practice trading.

It is going to be a long way journey to know trading, which is why I can't recommend it to everyone, it is better for Newbies who have money to invest in Bitcoin and while they are holding the Bitcoin they can start learning trading and other things too, investment is easier than trading.

If you end up knowing how to trade you will make good amount of money in a short period of time, and there is no such thing as day trading in my book, some do this but mehn, it is way too stressful, and you will also make less money, the best traders trade only when there is confirmation in the charts and they long or short using the stop loss feature.

All these can't be rushed as a beginner, you need a lot of time to learn it all.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: May 16, 2024, 05:56:37 AM
Yes, the information on this thread is so true. To be honest, while a lot of people still don't believe in Bitcoin and still call it a scam, Bitcoin may be the only cryptocurrency I have a very high percentage of trust in. A lot of people's experience with some of these failed cryptocurrencies may even be the reason why they don't believe in cryptocurrencies anymore. Don't get me wrong, you shouldn't, cause of this believe that altcoins are scams too. They're not. They're just not as strong as Bitcoin. Some of these are good, like too good and trustworthy, Ethereum, but not all of them are food enough to be HELD for long.

In finance, people spend, and save/ invest, in cryptocurrency, people trade and hodl. You can very much trade altcoins, but I don't think it's such a wise idea to hodl them. Bitcoin should really be the only crypto you hold for long. You can do you if you feel some altcoins are worth hodling. This, at the end of the day, is just my opinion.

Either Bitcoin or altcoins I don't tend to hold any for long, I will take profit when Bitcoin makes a new all time high and buy back when a massive sell off happens or after a bull market is over, this is how to secure fund and end up with betyer amount of Bitcoin later.

What I won't do is buying the same old altcoins from the last bull market again, this is where there is a massive difference between altcoins and Bitcoin, it is very hard for old altcoins to make a new all time high again, most of them died after their first taste of full bull market.

This is why I always abandon the old projects and focus on the new ones that raised a lot of money, minus the likes of BNB and Ethereum, even if you plan to retire with Bitcoin it makes no sense to hold through a bull market into another bear market, like if BTC reach 90k i will sell all my BTC and maybe buy back in 2026 when a new lows happen.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 15, 2024, 03:12:39 PM
When I had meet my friends last Sunday,We had discussed about this topic. We are friends based on our gambling interest and all of us are the gamblers.I had already mentioned about my friend who loss 2k in this below thread also take part in our meeting.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5493038.0

He keep on playing the gambling with some loans from our friends circle to manage the 2000 dollars previous loss. But the result is both positive and negative based on his luck. One of my gambling friend said this “Gambling losses are the traps for the gamblers to get into gambling again.”He added when the gambling loss was increases, most of us will do the gambling to recover the old loss.Because no one earning money without work,So our wish will be to balance the old losses in the gambling site.Share your opinion on this.

With my experience,I had use to win and loss based on the time I am playing the game.If I had the gambling at the sleeping mood, most of the time.I had loss the capital money in the gambling site. The winning also depends upon the gambling experience, many gamblers use to play the game based on the game experience. But some gamblers think the gambling was based on the luck,So they only do the random betting in the gambling site. The reason for most of the loss in the gambling sites are repeating the same algorithm in the gambling site after the gambling site change their algorithm to the game.

Did you guys trust on gambling algorithms or do the random betting in the gambling site to check the current luck in the gambling sites…
Gambling losses are traps for people who are looking forward for a life changing moment in gambling, where they will end up having everything they ever dreamed of, and only a few people shy away from gambling once they are in losses.

Normally losses should scare you away from gambling, unfortunately, this works only on female gamblers, some will say that it depends on what happen on your first day you start gambling, if you win you will likely feel at home, and if you lose you escape the possible addiction.

You will probably find yourself in this situation if you take loans to
gamble, remember you have to pay back? This alone is enough to make you keep gambling, thinking that you must make the money back.

If the money is yours you can feel the same way too but it is a bit easier to let go if the money belongs to you, the expectation from gambling is why all these are happening, gambling was meant to be a game of fun, it deserves few dollars not big amount and no to loan too.
36  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can i bet 5-10k on a single bet anywhere? on: May 15, 2024, 10:12:30 AM
Hello guys, im browsing the gambling section on the forums, i bet on soccer from time to time, 1x2, whenever i try to bet more then 200-300$ on a single bet they limit me, so im wondering, if there is a safe platform that i can bet 1-2-5k$ per bet on soccer, that will pay me out in the end Cheesy

If someone helps me find it, ill tip him $50 Smiley

Keep your $50 or use it to gamble on a casino instead

If you really want to listen to the truth, then here we go, one a single bet you should not risk too much, I believe 1k or more is too much because you can still lose the money even if it is on a single match.

To even risk $50 on a single match is a lot for me, yes I made more than $300 in a month but this is gambling, I will never risk a high amount of money on it, never! I am not here to win life-changing money I am here to catch some fun, but if you are here to make life changing money just know that gambling isn't here to make you a winner.

Stake is a good place but do not forget risk only what you can afford to lose, you are responsible for your losses, be a smart gambler.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies should be forewarned. on: May 15, 2024, 09:46:10 AM
There are many new members who may not know about these things and who should definitely know about these things.

Those of us who are new members and participants in various giveaway campaigns including Bounty Campaign, Air Drop Campaign should be careful in advance not to connect their wallets to these AirDrop Campaign websites. Many times such airdrop projects come in the market who conduct the airdrop campaign only to cheat. Those campaigns usually offer users a substantial amount of virtual money by completing simple tasks that require the user to connect their important wallet to their website to withdraw. All these new members did not understand the deception of the fraudsters and connected their wallets to the websites of those fraudsters, but it was seen that the user lost all the money deposited in his wallet in a moment. And until he disconnects the wallet from that website, access to the wallet remains with those fraudsters.

So before getting greedy and connecting my wallet, I must think about which website I am connecting my wallet to and whether I am risking my money there.

What wallet are they connecting? That is the right thing to say, because in crypto space you will at one point have to connect your wallet to a platform, 1inch or uniswap for example, you can't use any Dex exchange without connecting your crypto wallet.

The best advice should be to have a separate crypto wallet for airdrops and it must always be empty, have a main wallet for storing your digital assets and have another one for joining airdrops, simple.

I won't advice anyone not to hunt for airdrops, not after what I have seen so many projects did since 2022, many airdrop participants make a lot of money, the stuff that is enough to buy even 1 BTC, from the likes of SUI, SEI, Arbitrum, Pyth and many more.

I encourage airdrop hunting, just make sure you use a separate crypto wallet, and do your thing.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is going to happen Biden orders remove of Chinese-owned crypto Miner? on: May 15, 2024, 08:04:47 AM
Since when has Bitcoin mining turned into some kind of pistachio disguise thing?

If so then ......

We should be able to set up some invincible atomic bomb with Bitcoin hash rates then, or maybe even steal data from the NSA.

This is getting interesting, I have known about Bitcoin mining since 2010 and I believe that some early miners in the United States have been into Bitcoin mining since 2010, why haven't any attacks taken place then?

If Biden was the president in the days of the 911 terrorist attack maybe he would blame it on Bitcoin mining. Hahaha, this man is a complete joke.

I think Trump is right, Biden has no idea what Bitcoin is.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer the crypto online gambling or regular fiat casinos gambling? on: May 15, 2024, 07:05:54 AM
I prefer online gambling for a few reasons.

1. Nobody will know.

2. I can't get hurt by people if I ever get so lucky and win big.

3. My losses are safe with me, no one to look at me like a failing soul.

I am used to crypto for some reasons that are similar to why I am into gambling too, I spend most of my time indoors either learning coding or sewing some new clothes for my customers, I am much of an introvert, it just suits my way of living.

I know someone who won money and it led to a case because they didn't want to pay him at the center he used to place the bet, the agent at the betting location started behaving somehow when he got arrested he already spent most of the money, his account was frozen and the money was returned to the winner but everyone knew that he is into gambling, which they never knew before the issue arises.
