21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not forget your Bitcointalk account password!!! on: May 18, 2024, 10:31:25 PM
This is a very important aspect of account safety you have discussed here OP. People always undermine the importance of always having backup whenever they create an account. Just saving password details upstairs is not really enough though but rather, it should be better if you look for other means of storage and storing in google cloud is not safe but rather writing down your keys in a shit of paper to always assess it when ever you are free to do so without any notice from any body knowing where you keep your details or online information.
22  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How active can a newbie be daily? on: May 18, 2024, 10:21:29 PM
OP, I understand your fears as a newbie here. I know you are asking questions so as to avoid any issues in the future and there is nothing bad in you asking. Do kit be confused about being active here.  Being active does not only mean you just posting or replying of comments but how ever, your contribution in being creative on the platform, doing research that solely belongs to you and making it readily available for members to read. Being up and doings on the platform could help you alot as a newbie. Another thing I would advise you towards is being yourself and nobody else. Sometimes it just could be that being  yourself could help you through out events and occurrences here on this platform.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn a skill instead, you will be set for life. on: May 18, 2024, 09:21:25 PM
Obviously, people think since crypto is anonymous, they could use it as a conduit for any reasons due them but they forgot that Crypto is an open ledger unlike the banks that hides their dirty deals after messing up. Anything transaction you do on chain is already stamped and can not be reversed to wiping out traces just like the commercial banks does.

Learning a skill is someworth reasonable because that would help one grow their streams of income for see you survival. If you are skilled in a particular field, you have the chances of being self employed and would be sort after by people who needs your services.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: May 18, 2024, 08:58:46 PM
OP,  there is a saying that says " it is risky not to take risk". In life, every move you make is risky but I am meant to believe that the risk itself is in various categories or levels if of you may like.  Achieving mind blowing results requires a mind blowing risk to be taken so as to get such results. For every input or efforts you make to moving ahead in life, you definitely would encounter challenges which I believe we all know to be risk and this made me to believe that risk takers are great achievers.

I have read about great men and their history as it surrounds their little beginning and it all evolves around the risk they took to achieve the fit they are enjoying now.  Sacrifice your pleasure for inconvenience now to enjoy your pleasure tomorrow. The choice is left for every one concerned to choose. This is also applicable to gambling too but while gambling, gamble with funds you can afford to lose.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concerns grow over online gambling among teens on: May 18, 2024, 08:47:07 PM
If this is the case, then it would be necessary that gambling education introduced into the school curriculum. I was initially against move of supporting  gambling education at the secondary school but however, it is pertinent that steps be taken to curtail such otherwise the society will be greeted with underage gamblers.

I also had a second thought over it since government age limit for gambling is 18 and we all know that both  schools are populated with children below that age do you think the government would give consent to allowing gambling education be taught in the elementary schools?
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does destiny has influence in the amount we can win in gamble? on: May 17, 2024, 10:09:20 AM
Possibly, this is likely a fallacy of misconception. Destiny  I believe is something we put into shape ourselves and has nothing to do with winning or losing gambling. However, I would agree with the fact that winning of gamble is somehow attached to luck. If someone wins a game out of the blue, I will agree to the fact that luck shone on that person that day because it is not everyday that they record wins.

I would ask you this question, if you say destiny influence the amount of wins of a particular gambler, why then does that gambler not record wins everyday when they play their games of their destiny is tied to gambling?

Some casinos can go further and engage in charity work, thereby receiving a lot of positive reviews and removing any thoughts about some kind of illegal business. Good deeds always have a psychological effect on people. Knowing that the money received in the casino will be given to help children (for example) can be an incentive to play for those who play and subconsciously understand their passion; however, the thought that they are also helping those in need calms them down and motivates them to play. In the same way, you can find information about casino charities in different sports to motivate athletes to achieve better achievements, thereby again attracting customers.

This aspect of receiving positive reviews is another factor that benefits casinos that engages in charity service to the society. With that alone, they could get customers that would not mind gambling with their casino wether they operate legally or illegally. They do not mind because already they know that the casino is doing something meaningful in the society so they would take it as their money is not going in vain but rather to the community where they belong and that would as well motivate them to gamble for fun and forget about anything that comes up as a result of their gambling possiblely a little deduction from their account or sometimes withdrawal fee too can be overlooked by the gamblers.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Casino Community Service Possible? on: May 16, 2024, 04:22:13 PM
If this step is taken to render community service by casinos, it would make a difference and that casino would forever be recorded in the book of history to have done such or joined the list of the few casinos to have done such if any have really done that before.
What I know a casino and other gambling site should do that is very important and that is important for other businesses is to pay tax. I think all licenced casinos will pay their tax. People that are needed for community services are those that the government paid to do so or those that are told in court to do community service as a punishment. Gambling sites or land based gambling places can decide to help in community service or not. If they pay their tax and not evading it at all, they should be applauded.
I could imagine how it would feel like hearing that casinos are rendering community service to the society after paying their tax to the government where they are operating. It could give them a good edge in the sight and making them have good name In the eyes of the people irrespective of the fact that they are gambling organisation. Their impart in the society would be felt and applauded by the government and people of the society because these days, it is very difficult to see such in the society with how things are going on now.  If any casino here on this platform are engaging in community service, I would applaud them for that because it is not an easy task to accomplish.

Just like any other organizations that pays taxes it doesn't stop them from rendering community service to the people because everyone have marketing strategies so they can get involved in community services to give an impression that they are giving back to the society especially for a new casino though sincerely speaking I haven't witnessed any local casinos in my geographic location involved in such free will charity to the people but I have heard of it in other places.

In the forum here, for me the best services casino companies are giving to the forum members is regular and prompt payments to members representing their respective campaigns, almost all the campaigns that advertise their signatures and avatar on this forum makes sure that campaign participants are paid accordingly and some of which offers bonuses for their participants more especially those that makes more quality posts so regardless of the fact that we are marketing this casino companies by wearing their signature and avatars the payments we receive from them is also a way of them showing appreciation to us so community services is done in so many ways, it must not be physical before we can identify it.

It is nice hearing that you  have heard of casinos doing charity service at their  various locations.  Paying tax is another thing and doing charity is another. If a casino does charity that is a good thing because they felt like giving back to the society and not looking at the fact that they pay tax to the government. I believe they just see that as an obligation they owe the society for the patronage they have been gaining from that particular society or region they are located. Do note that if they do such it would be a big plus to their casino because on the other hand, it is a good marketing strategy for them as they are land casino and would also further need patronage from the community where they are located.

Understand the context of the topic as concerned to be a charity service to the public. You are being employed by your campaign manager to work for him and helping to promote the casino organisation and you get paid for your services. This is a marketing strategy by the casino to promote their services and it is not a free thing because they are paying you for your services compared to the charity done for the community. These two engagements are quite different from one another. Although they are mostly targeted at promoting the casino but that of the public is done for community charity service for the public to see that they're giving back to the society. While that of this platform is targeted at also engaging members to help promote their products because of the presence of possible client they could get from the platform. So it is all a plus plus for all parties involved.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peoples expectations about casinos free spins on: May 16, 2024, 03:25:45 PM
It is true that people like anything free. It is natural that humans like free things that they do not really work for. Looking at the gambling world free spins are just give away that do not really have much value but just a little token but believe me there are other big amounts on the free spin table but it would be very difficult for anybody playing the free spins to get it.

Casinos owner are not that daft to lose such an amount of money for just some folks who wants free thing without showing any commitment for the rewards. I just believe the free spins stuff is just a way to promote the casino and that is a good marketing strategy to get more gamblers to their website  which in turn would profit the casino when they play games with them.

31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Is Casino Community Service Possible? on: May 16, 2024, 01:45:29 PM
I have been wondering if ever any casino have engaged in a community service before or planning to do so. So far, I understand that casinos pay taxes and these tax are used by the government for running the state affairs but I was curious to know if it is possible because I have never seen it or heard about any casino doing such before or if any have started doing it. You can make it known here for us to see.

If this step is taken to render community service by casinos, it would make a difference and that casino would forever be recorded in the book of history to have done such or joined the list of the few casinos to have done such if any have really done that before.

If you think this is not a new thing or there are casinos doing this, you could please drop the link here or material or facts for us to see for ourselves and applaud the casino for that singular act of theirs.

This is called spamming. I checked and you are a newbie and It is obvious that you do not read rules before making posts here. By the way what you have done is advertising and you should have created a new thread for this post of yours on service board so that members could see it for themselves and approach you if your service is needed. Doing it here is very wrong and as a matter of fact you might likely be tagged if reported.

If you are a representative of the organisation that you are promoting here it would be better you do as I say before it is too late and moreover, this advert of yours is too real to believe as I find it fishy. Do well to follow instructions before posting next time.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 16, 2024, 01:23:58 PM
Gambling is becoming a popular thing in my locality almost everyone gamble and even colleagues gamble and engage in gambling related discussions at work,  so gambling is legal and very popular so there is no Shame in using part of a salary to gamble with that is why I am asking the question of what the right percentage from my salary that I should use to gamble?

Depends on how much you can afford to lose. i.e. how much financial responsibility you need to take and what your secondary incomes are. If you are earning for yourself and don't have other financial responsibilities like bills and mortgage, a 5-25% of your salary should be the limit. If other people are financially depended on you, you should probably get their consent about how much you should expend on gambling. 25% is the highest an Individual should go. Even if you can afford more, you should also diversify the way you have fun and limit your gambling thrill as it could be addictive.

Your idea of seeking the consent of your dependant  to know how much you could gamble is a good move. You know most times it is good if as a husband or wife as the case may be, seeks the consent of your partner to help you make a clean decision so as not to run into any issues in the future while gambling. If you could do that, I believe you could be able to control your gambling lifestyle and funds as well because you would have to apply caution while gambling and having it in your mind that you can not exceed your gambling budget for the moment. That would prompt you to discipline yourself while gambling and doing that would save you money.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your slices Luck that would have made you millionaire in gambling? on: May 16, 2024, 01:03:46 PM
OP, I was wondering because this amount you have mentioned here is something else in my country which  I checked. However, all humans have their own path in life. What works for Mr A might not work for Mr B and vice versa. Possibly that was your friends fate to success and not yours because I see no reasons why you should fall asleep in the middle of a game that would have made you a millionaire when it was at the period of cash out which you could have taken your money but it was unfortunate that you slept in and you lost it all.

The risk you took did not pay though but I believe there are certain lessons you have learnt so as to guide you in the future when you want to gamble again.  This experience I believe have thought you to not always take the path of another but rather, learn from their own path which is very important because it could save you in times of this nature.

Could you please upload pictures of your deposit   now so it could be visible to all to deed for themselves.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the Worst online Casino you've played on so far? on: May 15, 2024, 10:21:08 PM
OP, I think  you are correct here because I too personally do have same ideology with you towards casinos as you have stated here. All the casinos I have encountered have good features and games I like to play every time. So the experience of categorising casinos based on their poor performance is something strange to me aside the fact that I encounter complaints of members towards casinos here and I comment suggesting opinions and idea's to possibly making contribution to rectify their problem.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Naturally Chase loses in gambling.. on: May 15, 2024, 08:46:39 PM
OP, I really do like this post you have created here. You see, this post really depict the real condition or situation gamblers battle after losing games. It is natural that on every game, there must be a winner and there must be a loser but however, anyone who wins takes the trophy but anyone who loses, would want to try their luck again the next round to see if they could be able to win back and recover all that they have lost in the course of gambling but however, they have forgotten that the casino always ends up in the favour of the house which the possibility of they recovering  all is minuit hence they keep losing and losing till they have lost all their money.

I think self discipline is all it takes to call it an end to a particular session when the budget for that gambling session gets exhausted. Wether you win or you lose your game, self discipline should be the way out. However, irrespective of the fact that one have to exercise restraint, continuous gambling till recovery would always be the end resolve of every gambler. Till they get everything back, they would not quit but that is never the case. It is one thing that they never understand that they can never beat the house and can never win it all. Calling it a quit would only be the resolve to excess loss to gambling.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful with people's money on: May 15, 2024, 08:15:05 PM
It is unfortunate that such a thing is happening and it is very bad that it involves a blockchain developer which is not in any way making any sense. This is what addiction could cause when a gambler is very much in the mode to gamble. This he has done could cause a wreckage to the project he is currently on because his actions already is making people to doubt his person as a gambler because it is obvious he already been noted as a gambling addict. And as such investors would doubt the credibility of the project in his custody which would affect the growth and development of the project he is currently on.

Although this happenings are not new to my knowledge. I have witnessed an occurrence where a student gambled with his school fees and lost all of them to gambling. As if that is not enough, I witnessed another scenario another scenario were a boy was given money for his hostel accommodation and he used it to gamble and also look OST everything and was left with nothing to hold onto.
I have also heard of occurrences or situations were a boy stole from his father to gamble and he lost everything.
This situation of the developer gambling with peoples money is not a new thing but I think he was actually too careless to have done such.

39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Becareful with telegram wallet! on: May 13, 2024, 08:56:36 PM
I thought of this for sometimes and decided to not make much mistake of opening a telegram wallet. If telegram can ban account then what is the fate of the assets or funds saved in that particular account registered with the banned phone number. This happens to be a challenging factor now and it is another aspect of thought for the telegram wallet team. To get an account unbanned is something not feasible for the moment and I believe that would pose a major challenge to both the telegram exchange and her customers for the time being.
40  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the importance of this non_ custodial wallet? on: May 13, 2024, 08:44:14 PM
At first you should know that as an investor, the safety of your assets and funds matters.  So in that case, it is advisable to store such in a safe place where it is well protected.

Some investors prefer self custodial wallet while some would opt for third party exchange for their services but however be the case your assets would be stored and kept for you but it would be much more secured and safe when under your custody.

If your assets are under your custody, you are rest assured of your assets safety, you have instant access to your assets whenever and wherever you are. You are not under any obligation or whatsoever as a result of any out come or uproars from exchange possibly as a result of hack or data breaches.

I can say that holding your assets yourself is very much fulfilling than entrusting it to third parties or otherwise.

Remember the slogan " Not your keys, Not your coin."
