I think it had more to do with the amount of hate and anger people had for Leaf dumping and how low the price had got.

Who would be open to someone taking this coin over or relaunching it?

Tomorrow we're going to put a video tutorial up and a simple file download so users can mine gryfencoin on a pool with little to no technical knowledge needed for the setup.

Right now the difficulty is super high so a Pool is a necessity and mining solo isn't really a good option unless the difficulty crashes.

I'm going to have the default pool setup for Hash Harder because they only need a wallet Address to mine with.

What do you guys want to see first?  Coin Options from Poloniex or Coin Options from Bittrex?

I could see DGW as being a cool implementation with some degree of randomness added to it.

I want to change the block reward up a bit to give solo miners that true chance of striking gold - giving it that environmental randomness.

First, we have no FOUNDATION. There are no transaction going towards the foundation address, since it is disabled. That address does not receive any money. It does not work because it is not a valid address and we do not have a foundation address, just a technicality of the code.

In regards to the decimal place issue, we have 1 Trillion total coins, which is why we cut down 2 zeros, as to not overflow the int64 variable.

The block reward fluctuates between 50 and 50,000, 50 being the bottom end of the range and 50,000 being the top. Every day the minimum end of the range decreases by 1 (50, 49, 48...) and after fifty days, the minimum end is 0. Similarly, the maximum end will increase by one every block.  With a block time of 60 seconds that means that the upwards limit will increase at a steady, linear rate of 1440 coins per day.

At the end of the first day of mining the coin range will change from [50 - 50,000] to [49 - 51,440]
The first number decreased by 1 as 1 day has passed and the second number increased with the # of blocks from that day; 1,440.

We'll have to make that more clear and change that.
