21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 19, 2024, 10:18:05 AM
If he could lower his ego a bit, he might become a big player at Manchester United, but he was always at odds with Erik Ten Hak, so he was loaned to Dortmund last season. If you look at Jadon Sancho's individual skills, his abilities are above average, but because this player has a slightly higher ego. He played well with Dortmund and always made a contribution, but he couldn't maintain the same quality every match.
Many players with great potential didn't make it to the top of their career because of bad character. Jadon Sancho is a talented player but his misbehavior in Manchester United was not good for his reputation. He was fortunate to have a good time in Borussia Dortmund but his future in hanging on a balance. A simple apology to Erik ten Hag might give him a place back in Old Trafford.

If Juventus is willing to make a suitable offer, maybe Manchester United will let him go because now Manchester United management is working on a much stronger squad. Juventus and any club have the same opportunity as long as they want to make the offer that Manchester United wants.
£40million might be too much for Juventus to afford for Sancho. If Manchester United don't want him to return, they would have to reduce the price tag on the striker. If there is no potential buyer he would have to go for another loan or wait for interest from other clubs. With little support, Sancho can grow to become a better player, so support any club to get him maybe for £30m or so.
22  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Argentinian Regulators Talk Bitcoin with El Salvador Authorities on: June 19, 2024, 09:15:57 AM
It would be good news if Argentina were to approve a more favorable regulation for Bitcoin. I don't think Milei ever talked about making it legal tender as in El Salvador but it is possible to implement favorable legislative measures for holders and attract investment without declaring it legal tender. Hopefully something good will come out of this.
Bitcoin is legal in El Salvador, but through a custodial wallet. Argentine authorities want to do the same. This is not freedom and even if my country legalizes bitcoin in this way, I will not have them use bitcoin on a custodial wallet.
I don't think there is any law that forbids El Salvadorians from using noncustodial wallets. Chivo Wallet was first used when Bitcoin was earlier introduced but people are free to use any wallets they choose. I just checked some sources and discovered that many non-custodain wallets can be freely used in the first country that made Bitcoin a legal tender.

It's a whole problem for businesses in the US as well. Crypto is not banned, but your coins by law must be held by a custodian. Only some states want to allow non-custodial storage for businesses, but maybe that's an election promise that won't become law.
I know that the US government is attacking privacy tools like mixers and conjoin services but I am not aware that non-custodial wallets are banned in the US. Maybe providing a source to this claim might help me learn more about the situation in the US.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Habitat for Humanity International accepting BTC for donations on: June 19, 2024, 08:16:49 AM
Recently I checked on the website of Habitat for Humanity not listed yet with bitcoin as option for donating, there are only have two payment method from Credit or Debit Card and PayPal for donating. I don't know with not update yet the payment donation trough bitcoin and other cryptocurrency coins or the Habitat for Humanity still make modify need more longer time to see bitcoin become their payment for donating.

They actually have a donation option for cryptocurrencies if you check the website carefully. They accept donations from Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and many other coins. The organization is well organized so they made provisions for crypto donations before making it public.

Things like this were rare 8-10 years ago but now we see adoption increasing at a very fast rate, news like this breaks every day. Nether the less a big win for Habitat for Humanity International.
It is now common to see organizations accepting Bitcoin donations. This is a pointer that cryptocurrencies are now an important payment system because the population of crypto users has kept increasing over the years. Even Bitcoin critics such as Donald Trump are open to crypto donations to fund his presidential campaign.

28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What category would you classify such bettor? on: June 18, 2024, 10:39:10 AM
Even if I am drunk, I can not be taking this type of odds. The lowest odd there is 5.2 which is very risky in sport betting. I can easily find 3 odd to choose in casinos but in sport betting, any odd getting higher than 2 is very risky. The chance to win just a single bet is small, not to talk of winning the whole bet. It is greediness.
If he had won the game , many people would have celebrated him as a good risk-taker. There is nothing like greed in gambling because everyone wants to win big. Don't forget that the greater the risk the bigger the win. Most big winners in gambling take uncommon risks which many people will never take.

I will categorize that better as a greedy fellow who has no strategy and believe on his/her luck entirely. In sports betting luck matters but proper research and strategy matter way more than someone's luck. The bettor just depends on his/her luck and I believe such bettors will lose no matter how long they try their luck.
He made his decision and it's okay for him. This is why gambling is for mature minds who take responsibility for their bet. Every gambler decides how to use his money on gambling. As much as he is a responsible gambler I will not judge his action because he might become lucky one day.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Saudi Arabia ends 80-year petrodollar deal with US. on: June 18, 2024, 10:06:29 AM
This is definitely an interesting development and we have to watch how things change over the next year to be sure. But for now, I remain skeptical.
Politicians cannot be trusted because they can be deceitful. But for sometime we have seen Saudi Arabia shifting away from dependence on the US since the election of Joe Biden. The Saudis see Donald Trump as a worthy partner than the present president. I suspect that the killing of Jamāl Aḥmad Khāshqujī also led to the deteriorated the relationship between both countries.

Last year China brokered peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia and both nations agreed to revive ties. I don't know how both nations are relating now. But it is possible that they reason why Saudi Arabia is shifting it's relationship to China, Iran and Russia is to put pressure on the US but we just have to wait to see how things plays out. And one of the indicators to show which side the belong is thier commitment to the BRIC alliance and their ability to oppose US policies in the Middle East.
30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Somebody Tell Me About Instant Exchanges? on: June 18, 2024, 09:20:17 AM
Which ones are reliable?
Which ones are people actually using?
How do they work?
The first thing you should consider is the crypto laws in your country. Some countries like mine have banned many crypto exchanges because of some reasons. So you have to check if your country allows exchanges to operate freely. Another point is to consider which exchange offers services in your jurisdiction this is because some exchanges don't operate in some countries. We have to also consider which type of exchange you are referring to since there are decentralized and centralized types.

Decentralized exchanges are more reliable than centralized ones since they are not under the control of the user. They also promote privacy and security. You might not lose your funds easily since they don't keep people's funds. Centralized exchanges are more convenient to use but they are not safe. In case of hacks or fraud on the centralized exchange customers might lose their money.

The choice of exchange will depend on the use and the funds involved. People who engage in trading might prefer to use centralized exchanges because of their liquidity. You might also decide to use a centralized exchange if it involves little money.

You have to do your research to determine the one that suits you and to learn how it works.

BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?
Seeking an alternative source of income was what attracted me to Bitcoin. At first, I was introduced to some shitcoins which turned out to be Ponzi schemes. Many people lost money but I was lucky not to put in any money. I kept on searching until I was introduced to this forum by a friend. After reading and learning about Bitcoin, I was convinced that it was not like other pump-and-dump coins. I decided to remain in the crypto space because I discovered that Bitcoin is a reliable investment and has stood the test of time. I also decided to remain because of the privacy that Bitcoin offers. I have always wanted to keep my financial transactions secret and Bitcoin offers such privilege. Conventional bank workers have access to bank accounts and know how much a customer is worth. I prefer to keep my worth private for security reasons.

35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Binance is driving me crazy on: June 17, 2024, 01:32:29 PM
The problem was I needed the money and couldn't get it. But that's over now.
I really appreciate all the help. If it wasn't for you guys, I would've never known to insist with the automated support to finally get to a human csr. But in any case, if a user has to waste 3 1/2 hours of their time to solve their BS, it's time to rethink a few things. I think Binance is getting too big for their own good.
It can be frustrating to have money and you cannot access it when you need it. I have seen a situation where a man was crying in a bank because he needed funds to take his wife to the hospital for an illness but he was denied access to his bank account. It's great to hear that you have solved the problem. I will suggest you lock the thread since there is nothing to discuss anymore.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Happy Fathers day on: June 17, 2024, 01:06:18 PM
Mentioning this set of people who were unfortunate not to have fathers to celebrate is touchy. Many people don't have fathers to celebrate but they can appreciate and celebrate fathers around.

For the young folks who want to be fathers, my advice is for them to prepare for fatherhood because it is not an easy task. It takes a lot of sacrifice to be a good father.

These big brothers who took over the responsibilities of fathers need to be celebrated because they are uncommon. They will have to work hard to ensure that their siblings live a good life. I celebrate them.

Many fathers have lost custody of their children because of divorce. While others are not part of their children's life for other reasons. They still have the opportunity to show love to children around their neighborhood.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy or exchange dirty BTC/USDT? on: June 17, 2024, 12:50:25 PM
Hi,
I saw someone talking about dirty BTC/USDT, is this real or a scam? Where can buy or exchange it?
It is the government and some anti-Bitcoin forces that always come up with the concept of dirty Bitcoin. They insinuate that dirty Bitcoin has been associated with illegal activities such as money laundering, drugs, hacked wallets, scams, etc. But the bottom line is that there is nothing like dirty Bitcoin. Just like fiat, Bitcoin can be used by criminals and this action doesn't make the money dirty. I recently read that 80% of fiat currency has been used for illegal activities. It will be difficult to identify these so-called dirty coins except the address was flagged and blacklisted by government agencies. Why do you want to be involved in such a transaction? The dark web might be a good place to ask this question.
