Yeah, I knew about the 24 hour waiting time. But that period is gone already, and still nothing.

About the live support, it's only for US customers. I'm in Argentina.  Sad
I thought it was going to be the wait time but, with that out of the way, support is all that could help you now.

Don’t know if you’re actually getting the OTP sent to you as that would be one means to verify if you did the right thing or have it fully enabled. If you did, then you would have to be patient with the support, engaging them with mails and be proactive till you get your issue resolved.

Btw I don't understand how support fails to be helpful in such an instance, are these guys outsourcing their support staff??
Problem is that by default they use automatic responses and it takes some effort to reach an actual live support via chat.


Moreover, the OP stated that he is from Argentina, and taking into account that Spanish is among the most spoken languages in the world I doubt that it would be a big problem to enable support in that language for a giant like Binance.
Afaik, Binance has support in Spanish, among some other languages like Portuguese, Turkish etc.

If you have funds in exchanges like binance have it in mind that you aren't completely the owner of your funds. The ability and control of exchanges like binance over their users funds is crazy.

But I have some questions for you. What reason was giving for the restrictions. I believe if an exchange restricts you they would atleast give you possible reasons for that before they suggested ways to unlock the restrictions.

Would this be the first time you exist this and also has there been any warning issues you had faced prior to this.
Finding out these information can lead you to the path in rectifying this issue.

PS. Be careful how you use centralized exchanges like binance and don't keep funds on this type of exchange.

When I talk about network free, I'm talking about an internet connection and not the fee that you might be thinking I'm referring to.
~
If I'm having a poor internet connection, I like to make use of the Binance mobile app. I don't face those network challenges I face when I'm using my desktop; it's just my personal experience anyway.

I don't get it either, network free?
It's still a network, you use your smartphone app or the cable internet on your desktop it's still the internet, and I've never heard or cable charging for extra usage while data on smartphones still has it.

Am not sure if the error response you're receiving is from binance, there are many people i know that uses binance and as long as your account is verified, you will not have any withdrawal issue, so i will advise you first make a check on the profile to see if the verified icon is marked green or not, if not, then try to do so and reapply to make withdrawal, ensure that you're on the right binance platform and not a cloned one and don't enter through any random links online, all these should be your first precautions and safety measures before enjoying using a centralized exchange like binance.

He already mentioned he is getting the same error from the Binance app, what are the chances he has accessed both a fake app and a fake website designed by the same scammers?

Exchanges are going completely insane. Don't keep your money on Binance or any other centralized platforms.
What you said is completely true, these services will drive you crazy with some worthless security measures, adding a phone number, email and 2nd authentication verification, lately with Binance update for IOS they have added another security where you need another device to scan a QR code in order to withdraw or transfer your money out. Unfortunately some of us we don’t have a choice but to use their P2P service because in my region it is the only place where I can trade crypto to our local currency.

The OP, should just attach a phone number, email and complete the 2FA. Maybe wait a day or two to try withdrawal again. Otherwise, Binance live chat is super slow and not helpful most of the time. All these measures and we still hear Binance getting hacked?

What's the next error message they are showing you after you have added the 2FA since the waiting time is already over? 
 
If you are getting an error withdrawing, check if you are allowed to enable a passkey as part of the security for your withdrawal. If they allow you to add it, it will be way easier for you to get your funds out there with a passkey. That's what I use.

That's the same error message, before and after. The fact is I couldn't set up 2FA. Apparently the browser (Firefox) didn't let me.
I'll try the passkey on Saturday. Now I'm getting off work, and I have no internet access.

Why is it saying to bind your phone or email ? Isn't it done already ?
I guess we need to setup our email and phone during the registration itself and if that is not done already then you should be doing that first.
Just follow the onscreen instructions I would say. What did the support say and did you try writing them an email as well ?
If nothing works, the last option is to tag them on X(twitter) with your issue.

I think you got all and completed answered with your Binance account disable for withdrawing, reset 2fa, change password or email make your account get disable for withdrawing until 24 hours later and actually this reminder have on the first page when you try reset with your account data detail.
Don't be panic come back tomorrow or waiting until 24 hours and your account back to normal wit withdrawal working well, seems all exchange has the same rule when set up again 2fa, reset or change password will make our account get disable for 24 hours later because the exchange want to make its the real owner controlling with their account change.

For situations as this, after doing all that which is required of , there should be an indicated time you should wait for the complain to be resolved after which they will give you proper attention and attend to your request . Within the time period given you may just have to wait till it elaps a s if it's not resolved still, rhen maybe you should submit a second time and if there are authorities in your country that gets to regulate the operation of such entities you may report but very importantly always make sure to store your Coins in a wallet and not on an exchange, and do not wait till you need money urgently before you place a withdrawal and make sure to always get your KYC sorted before then so you will be able to avoid hitches such as this in the nearest future.

I spent almost a week trying to make things work. Since then my assets went down almost 20%. That and all the stress I've had to endure.
I think it's safe to say Binance will never receive another penny from me.

I'm glad you solved your problem finally and became able to withdraw your funds from there. But yeah I know/feel those stress and frustration during the process as I've been in that situation before while I tried withdrawing like two month before.

I have been using Binance exchange for a long time but never faced such a problem. You must have your kyc verified on Binance. If not, kyc verification should be done first. You have already set up 2FA. Now you need to bind your phone number. If there is still a problem, you have to talk to the support and work according to their instructions. When withdrawing, you have to complete what is said in the pop-up message.

So what was the actual problem, op? was it truly because setting up 2fa wasn't working for you? or glitch on cool down period? sitting down for 3 and 1/2 hours is rough lol

I personally think mandatory 2FA is a pretty great move to implement considering the rampant account hacks but of course, it has to be working smoothly to not inconvenience your users.

I spent almost a week trying to make things work. Since then my assets went down almost 20%. That and all the stress I've had to endure.
That's how you deal with them. Expect this from every centralized exchange like Binance, Coinbase or any other. When your funds are being held by them, you can't do anything with them and even you want to take your profit as much as you can or at least keep the value of it as of the moment, they want you to resolve the issue first before allowing you to withdraw or trade it.

I think it's safe to say Binance will never receive another penny from me.
Good decision.

And it's never advisable to put sums of your money in any of them.

So what was the actual problem, op? was it truly because setting up 2fa wasn't working for you? or glitch on cool down period? sitting down for 3 and 1/2 hours is rough lol

I personally think mandatory 2FA is a pretty great move to implement considering the rampant account hacks but of course, it has to be working smoothly to not inconvenience your users.


The problem was I needed the money and couldn't get it. But that's over now.
I really appreciate all the help. If it wasn't for you guys, I would've never known to insist with the automated support to finally get to a human csr. But in any case, if a user has to waste 3 1/2 hours of their time to solve their BS, it's time to rethink a few things. I think Binance is getting too big for their own good.

It can be frustrating to have money and you cannot access it when you need it. I have seen a situation where a man was crying in a bank because he needed funds to take his wife to the hospital for an illness but he was denied access to his bank account. One thing i know for sure is that if you have not committed any illegal activities on your account then Binance will rectify the issue after hearing from you. Sometimes it is as a result of a transaction that was sent to you and you did not know whats that address or user has done or offense they commit then it will now affect you since you are among the chain of transaction.

Talk the support, they will hear from you and the issue will be rectified. Goodluck!

Hello everybody. It's been a long time.

I'm having an issue with Binance.
I need to withdraw some money from my account, bu every time I try to do so I get a pop-up saying:

"Your account is in a state of restricted withdrawal

In order to protect the security of your account, you need to continue to bind your phone, email or GA before you start withdrawing coins."

I looked it up online, tried to solve it through binance "support" (if you can call it that), tried to set up 2FA (as I read in a support article) and nothing. I'm still unable to withdraw my funds.

So, what should I do?

just as some additional information, I have the binance app on my cellphone. I tried both the app and the binance site on my computer, and get the same problem everywhere.

I don't see any reason why your account have to be restricted. This is quite strange and I am still quite surprised when a famous centralized exchange would not allow her users to withdraw because someone could just bind their account. Maybe their is more to this and I think you just don't have to read the support article yourself, you need to write to binance to know what's actually the problem. Why would they restrict your account and not allow you to remove part of your coins join because you could not bind your email to your account. I think you need to write them on their social media like Twitter and telegram for fast reply.

Ask for any of your regional community crypto influencer's with some active following. I can assure you that if your case is genuine you will get your funds back i've witnessed many of such cases and when their community members supported them on social media like Twitter after tagging them and making comments they looked into the case seriously and released their funds.
