Seryoso? I thought nasa ibang bansa si Miranda. If I am not mistaken, isa syang coach at nagbibigay ng strategies about cryptocurrencies.

As of the moment, ang bill na gusto kong maipasa sa senado ay sisiguraduhin kong magbebenefit ang cryptocurrency enthusiasts such as tax and job opportunity.

Quote from: Fintechnews.ph
The Philippine government has recently implemented a capital gains tax of up to 15 percent on cryptocurrency transactions to regulate and tax the growing digital asset market. This tax applies to profits made from the sale or exchange of cryptocurrencies and purchases made using cryptocurrencies.

I think the best thing that we can do is to amend the tax. I think 15 percent is too much high for a cryptocurremcy enthusiast since we don't know also if we gain or lose money in crypto trading. Lowering up to 5% to 10% is a decent tax for cryptocurrency market.

Tatawagin ko itong House Bill #20091 - Promoting job opportunity for Filipino Cryptocurrency Enthusiast.

House Bill #20091 - An act promoting job opportunities For Filipino Cryptocurrency Enthusiast

1. Government will support small eaning traders through loans. Pwede ka na magloan ng up to 50,000 with 2% monthly interest as long as verified ang well-known exchange app na meron ka at valid ID.
2. Cryptocurrency exchange outlets will be established. For example, gusto mo mag cash-in and cash-out sa Binance.
3. Government will support Filipinos in creating cryptocurrency projects.
4. Cryptocurrency literacy for all Filipinos (How to make money using crypto and avoid scam projects).

House Bill 20712 - Cryptocurrency Literacy for Filipino
Statement: An act providing literacy for Filipino in cryptocurrency

1. Ilalagay ko sa curriculum natin ang pag-aaral sa cryptocurrency at gagawin ko itong spiral curriculum from grade 4 to grade 12.
2. Magdadagdag ako ng panibagong course like in tesda wherein magaaral ka ng Cryptocurrency in 6 months. Tapos pwede ka magapply sa mga business companies since meron kang basic knowledge in computer/blockchain.

Once it is approved by lower and upper house, and signed by the executive department (president). Then it will becomes a law or batas.

And also, as private individuals we can also pass our own bill. We called it as Initiative. The power of the people to pass and amend new laws.

Here is the map charting on how a certain bill becomes a law.

24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Teacher and Classmates Labeling Bitcoin as a Ponzi Scheme or a Scam on: June 24, 2023, 04:21:29 AM
Story time  Grin
My nephew, who is around 15 years old, has gained knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies through exposure to discussions between his father (my brother) and me, as we frequently talk about bitcoin. Whenever he has free time from school or chores, we allow him to listen in on our conversations and ask any curious questions he may have. For instance, he often asks questions like, "Uncle, what is bitcoin?" or "Is it a type of currency? Can I have one?" We do our best to explain the concept to him, but sometimes he grasps it easily while other times he struggles to understand. What I do know is that this young boy is displaying a keen interest in the subject.

Recently, he expressed his frustration about his teacher and classmates labeling bitcoin as a ponzi scheme or a scam each time he talks about it. I'm seeking a variety of advice that I can offer to my nephew in this situation. Although his father suggested that he should stop discussing bitcoin, I don't feel comfortable with that approach. What are your thoughts on this matter?
People are judging based upon experience and not a further research. I have been through also in that situation wherein I heard stories about bitcoin as a ponzi scheme. Many workers in abroad, specially those who are just investing money think that bitcoin is a scam since they were a victim of a ponzi scheme that the front motivation was bitcoin.
Nowadays, we are thinking that earning through online is quick and fast not knowing the risk that may we get.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Know the Next PEPE on: June 04, 2023, 03:38:26 AM
In 2021 i wrote an article on medium and created a YT tutorial on how to spot a memecoin project that will become something.
From that teaching, here are the two key factors to look out for.

1. Community:

It is community that gives speculative value to memecoin. So, the bigger and the cult-like a community is the better. It shows alot of the community will buy and create hype for the project.

2. Strategic Partnerships:

How is associated with the memecoin? If it's a notable influencer like Elon Musk, it'll moon.

Therefore in researching the next memecoin project to degen in, these factors should be your priority.

What other factors do you think influence memecoin projects?
Eventhough you have the list, we can't still predict the project that will soar high. Most of them are manipulated by whales. Yes, influencer and associated partnerships may help but not 100% guaranteed.
For me, it is better to trade in a well-known exchange than to risk our money in the next meme coin.

There are many factors you have to consider in moving abroad. One of the reason is your survival ability. If you have a decent job and family abroad then why not? Just to share my experience, I was working here in abroad since last year. I chose to work here because in Philippines, I don't have any opportunities. There are many Filipinos here who stay for more than 20yrs because they need to feed their family. However, I am always reflecting myself to them because I don't want to grow old in other country. That is why, I am saving money so that when I go back in my country I can build my own business. Now, if will move in any country maybe it depends upon my fate. But for now, I want to go back in my beloved country because I like the nature, surroundings and food.
27  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: February 17, 2023, 04:09:16 PM
I'll just the link the recently published news by BitPinas: https://bitpinas.com/cryptocurrency/gcrypto-now-available-to-select-users/

The point is, ngayong nagiging mainstream na yung crypto sa average joe, most likely maraming newbies na papasok without knowing even the slightest security measures to protect their hard earned money. So kapag may nagtanong, you can simply say that after they bought their crypto asset, you can tell na dapat nilang ilagay sa non-custodial wallet like Electrum/Bluewallet or much better any mainstream hardware wallets lalo kung pang long-term naman nila yan iho-hold.

Of course, okay lang naman na i-hold pa rin sa gcash if and only if small amount lang yon for daily transaction or if they are actively trading.

Some useful links:
- LIST Open Source Hardware Wallets

Thanks for the information. I saw it also sa Facebook. And I think somehow, your right. Many newbies will buy cryptocurrency using Gcash since it is more accessible to all Filipino users. And in fact, it is one the famous E-wallet in Philippines.

However, I tried to view it. Unfortunately, I think it doesn't work in other countries. Nasa ibang bansa kasi ako nadestino and gcash is the only means of payment and padala ko sa family ko. That's why I was glad that it is adopting the cryptocurrency. But let me just reinstall the gcash, maybe there's a problem with my application.

Most of these get trashed or locked if reported. I'm getting tired of the really stupid ones though: Does your wife/child/dog know you gamble. Do you gamble with your right hand or left? Have you ever gambled on the toilet? Have you ever gambled on an aeroplane? Have you ever gambled on the toilet of an aeroplane etc. I saw there's a thread in there for Miss Universe now.

I literally look at every topics that posted in Gambling Discussion board. I have seen a lot of irrelevant topics such as the latter sentences you said.

So, I tried to get some of the redundant topics in Gambling Discussion from page 1 to 15. Though, they have different way but I think these topics are leading in 1 context.

Criteria of a good gambler

Responsible gambling

How to win gambling?

gambling techniques

My Unconventional Betting Strategy

Poker strategies

Don't get me wrong, those are good ideas. But as time goes by, I think the contexts are bit similar with each other.

Here is the thread that purely spamming:

gambling discussion

Imagine, A (Gambling Discussion) under Gambling Discussion board.

And lastly, Will you stop gamble if your girl friend insists ?

The thread is useless. I really don't care if your girlfriend will stop you in gambling. I have my own life.

Well, that's all I want to share.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: [INFO] University Of Singapore Invent VR Glove To Let You Feel the Metaverse on: January 20, 2023, 04:53:52 PM
This does feel like something we should already have had though, I wonder why we didn't and if it'll actually get used that much because of this. Perhaps this is the start of something bigger too (like suits that can pressurise places for gaming although maybe that's a bit dangerous to have a jacket that adds pressure/vibrates on the chest when you're shot for example).
That is really awesome! No wonder that a bigger picture will be seen from that invention. Imagine we are playing like in a real life, wherein you can feel, touch and hear. VR reality is becoming advanced. And for sure, it will be a blockbuster when it will launch specially under crypto projects.
31  Economy / Economics / [INFO] University Of Singapore Invent VR Glove To Let You Feel the Metaverse on: January 20, 2023, 04:06:59 PM
I have read a lot of articles about cryptocurrency today and this one captured my attraction.

Here is a quick glance for the article:

Quote from: NFT Evening news
The University of Singapore has invented a VR Glove that allows you to feel objects in the metaverse! The technology includes pressurized fingertips and restricted motion that mimics the real-life sensation of picking up objects. The goal is to assist medical professionals to practice in Virtual Reality (but we can see how these would make for some pretty incredible immersive gameplay). Production will begin over the next few years.

As time goes by, I am becoming excited to the future of technology. It seems that in the future, virtual reality will be the world of people who are introvert and techy savvy millenials. I am looking forward whenever this VR glove will start its production.

I think the next years will be a world that full of virtual reality.

12.4M dollars? That's massive!
I don't really get the point why people are investing with that kind amount of money without hesitation. He just left a couple of thousand dollars to his account. I think he will do his best to sue the team behind the said investment stocks.

Anyway, I disagree with you OP that much. Yes, we should not trust the online platform about investments. But, how we are going to invest without risking our money in online platforms? The best thing that I could say is that, we have to be vigilant for every single platforms that we are using. And investment is not 100% guaranteed, therefore putting all your eggs in one basket is totally a dam* idea.

The platform is specific to one country and that is the Filipino investors I check more information about this Lele Gold because this is new to me I am led to this platform crazyfishinggames.com I delete the APK download page because the site is not working
5%-10% monthly interest is a big warning sign, Philippine-based investors are easily swayed by this kind of scheme especially those OFW because of the lack of business knowledge to grow their money, they resort to this kind of scheme its good that SEC is very fast to issue warning about this kind of scheme
Sad to say but I was a victim of farming apps last year. That is why I learned a lot. I am working in other country as well and based upon your opinion. Most of the time, those Filipino workers are the victim of scam. I have been there when one of my Filipino co-worker is trying to invite OFW's without knowing that it was a scam. After that, she was sue by many OFW's because they fell in a scam and even her was a victim.

Many people are always interested in Rich Quick Scheme and Farming tokens. Scammers are always happy to see how many people are investing and playing their games. Just wanna share to you guys this new farming game named LeLe Gold farm.

The mechanics are not new to everyone. It is a P2E games wherein you will farm and you will be able to earn money. Well, I did not invest in this game since it is highly risk. Just like the other rich quick scheme applications.

Those who are trying to enter in this game. Sorry guys, you cannot take your ROI anymore if you will play this game.

Just in: SEC warns the people that LeLe gold farm is not yet regulated.

Please take a look more in the website below for more information: https://www.bworldonline.com/corporate/2023/01/18/499141/sec-warns-about-unlicensed-lele-gold-farm-trading-cartel/?amp

It depends upon how I am going to insert the link. When I am going to insert the link as reference, it looks fancy and reliable to see the whole URL especially, if I will get it in other website.

When it comes to mentioning names or topic here in bitcointalk, I think it is better if we use the hidden url tag especially if we are using the link inside of the forum, they are all quiet similar with each other.
Just like this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5434579.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433658.0

It is more catchy to use hidden url tag. Since you know what you are clicking on.

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [NEWS] - $9 BILLION EUROPEAN DIGITAL BANK N26 ENABLES BITCOIN TRADING on: January 17, 2023, 03:29:06 PM
Quote from: bitcoin magazine
N26, a $9 billion European digital bank, is launching bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading services, per a report from CNBC.

N26 Crypto, the bank’s newly formed service, is set to roll out to Austrian clients over the next few weeks and initially include bitcoin and a number of cryptocurrencies. Following its initial release, N26 plans to expand its service offering to clients in other markets over the course of the next six months.

However, users looking to leverage N26’s service should note that the bank does not support custodial wallet transfers, meaning users will not be able to move their bitcoin off of the platform.

I know it's not a new think in cryptocurrency. Since cryptocurrency evolved a lot, from the time that no one ever believes up to the time that even banks are gradually accepting the benefits of cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin.

Anyway, the only thing that I concerned here is the fee. Imagine if you will buy or sell bitcoin for all cryptocurrencies, the bank will charge up to 2.5%

One more thing is that they do not support custodial wallet. Therefore, you cannot move your bitcoin once you bought it in their platform.

What are your opinions about this?

I'm 47 years old, and I see and hear a lot of young people talking about bitcoin, and when I asked 2 young people and I asked, can I be the same age as me to invest in bitcoin? and the young people answered, 1 of them said they could, and the other said no, and the people who answered no, they explained the reason, namely because I was old, whereas if investing in bitcoin it had to be long term.
and the other young man gave me a hint, namely for me to join this forum to ask about me, who is old, is it worth investing in bitcoin or not?

but I personally will still invest in bitcoin because in my opinion there will be no loss in investing in bitcoin even in the long term, that is because I have children, even if I may have died I think there will be no loss, because I will tell my children when I invest in bitcoin .

and I will inherit bitcoin to my kid if I die first.

I want to ask what do all my friends think about this problem?
Nice to see your post! I really admire those people who are open-minded when it comes to investment. Actually, I am working in other country since last year. And I have met a lot of young people 4 to 8 years older than me but they don't have any idea about cryptocurrency. They only knows that bitcoin is a shit scam. Then, I was shocked because I have met 2 different people from my own country who are currently investing in cryptocurrency for their retirement. And guess what? They are both above 60+ years old. One of them tried to mine bitcoin before and the other one stays in long term holding.

That is why I am always glad to see them because everytime we talk together, we always share our opinion about bull run and insights in cryptocurrency. BTW, I am in 20's.

Nope, Lots of firms and celebrities are promiting bitcoin but it doesn't cause a macro movement to the price. Not unless Elon Musk will buy bitcoins and I think that's a different story.

Well, I think the Consumer Price Index news released yesterday triggered the market. It went 6.5% from 7.1% last November. This is the highest BTC price since it dropped last November due to FTX news.

Well, let's see if it will break the 19.1k line and experience some major restest to enter the mini bull run this 2023.

You know what makes us different from other people? It`s the word "OPPORTUNITY"
You can say those things above because you are lucky to have an opportunity to learn, you have the opportunity to get a decent job. Let us make it simply, all of us doesn`t want to be a poor yet most of us are unfortunate. Even though, learning is everywhere and you are always open to changes, if you don`t have the opportunity, you can`t do anything.

Remember, we have our own differences. Some of us want to become rich and some of us want to live simple. For me, Success is not about the money that you have, it`s the happiness that you can give to yourself and to your surroundings. We have our own definition of success.

It's still evening in my country. I have been working in different country. This is my first Christmas celebration without my family. I go away in my comfort zone since I want to grow up more. Though, it is hard but it feels good since I have to live on my own dreams. So, for all of us who have dreams just continue what you have started. Many of us are having difficulties in life, many of us have regrets in investing in cryptocurrency, but always take a look why you started.

Again, Merry Christmas to you. This year is a downfall in cryptocurrency but next years hope that it will bloom again!
